Purpose: This paper evaluates the performance of the pre-control(PC), an alternative to statistical process control techniques and compares with a control chart considering the tolerance of process. Methods: The previous studies for PC have drawbacks that PC with two linked stages, qualification and running, are discussed separately and independently. Hence this paper analyzes the performance of PC by integrating two stages. Results: Average outgoing quality limits to grasp the outcome of PC are provided by computational results for two process capability indexes, $C_p$ and $C_{pk}$ and the usefulness of PC from comparative experiments with modified control charts is commented. Conclusion: Helpful guidelines for quality managers to apply PC in practice and areas of process for PC to be more benefit are presented.

Consultant and owner play a very important role in the construction sector which is one of the main sectors in economic development. There are many stakeholders in a construction project including but not limited to: owner, consultant, contractor, subcontractor, and supplier. The consultant is the party who is to stay in close touch with the project owner, which both consultant and owner are considered as the main key stakeholders to make the project happen. It's not a simple task for a consultant to just implement the same style of management and control within various projects that are of a different background and character of owners. Thus, the adjusting plan management and control to the owner environment has been an essential technique to drive the project to success. The objective of this paper is to identify the significant management techniques for adjusting a plan of management and control to the owner environment in Thailand. The methodology is the identification throughout the analogous to abduction from literature review and our empirical observations of Future Engineering Consultants Co, Ltd. We have been in consultation for twenty-five years (25) in Thailand with 209 projects from both public and private owners. As a result, there are (1) Project management styles, (2) Personal style, (3) Owner expectation management, (4) Scope Management, (5) Time Management, (6) Cost Management, (7) Quality Management, and (8) Environmental Management. The input are: a clear defined goal, showing respect by giving good service, maintaining high quality, keeping in touch with owners, and resources. This would give the output of the project's success by meeting the owner's expectation and requirements.

In this study, we research and develope Intelligent Remote management controller. According to the load condition, we will apply various control techniques and plan high efficient Demand control. After development, According to the Demand Control, An electricity enterprisers will expect enlargement of equipment coefficient, elevation of back up load factor and reduction effect of equipment investment. On Customer side, They will expect reduction of electric fee, saving energy and variety of service choice.

This paper gives an overview of the recent changes of global strategy that was put in place to support the development of a railway command / control system for the railway interoperability, The paper also outlines current projects regarding the future extension of railway management system and compares the train control system. This should enable the integration of operational, train command / control, traffic management, infrastructure and fleet management, and customer value-added services providing relevant information.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the perception on the quality of nosocomial infection control on perceived risk, trust, and the intention to revisit among the medical consumers. Method: 361 patients and their guardians who were hospitalized in women's hospital, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, participated in this study. The data was analyzed using SPSS Statistics 21.0. Results: The perception on the quality of nosocomial infection control had a negative(-) effect on perceived risk, a positive(+) effect on trust, a positive(+) effect on the intention to revisit. The perceived risk had a negative(-) effect on trust, a negative(-) effect on the intention to revisit. The trust had a positive(+) effect on the intention to revisit. The perceived risk was partially mediated by the perception on the quality of nosocomial infection control and the intention to revisit, while the trust was fully mediated by the perception on the quality of nosocomial infection control and the intention to revisit. Thus, it indicated that the perceived risk and trust had dual mediated effects as well as full mediated effects in the relationship between the perception on the quality of nosocomial infection control and the intention to revisit. Conclusions: The nosocomial infection control can be an important factor to contribute to hospital management by attract the loyal medical customers, not just cost-expenditure. The nosocomial infection control can help hospital revenue and customer management strategy. Thus, it will contribute to the effective marketing strategy in the medical field.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate a joint health self-management program for knee osteoarthritis elders in communities. Methods: This program was developed based on the IMB (information-motivationbehavioral skills) model. The program methods include education, setting and achieving goals, sharing experiences, telephone counseling, and self-monitoring. The topics of the program include joint assessment, exercise, massage, joint protection, medication, depression management, diet, and healthcare approach. The research was conducted following the principles of the nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Participants were 26 subjects in the experimental group, and 27 subjects in the control group. The experimental group participated in the self-management program, and the control group received general education. Results: Both post-test scores of personal motivation, social motivation, behavior skill, self-management behavior, joint pain, joint stiffness, physical function disability, right knee extension, left knee extension, and depression were significantly different between the experimental group and the control group. Conclusion: The results of the study can be used to develop and standardize a systematic joint health self-management program. Further research is highly recommended to develop a strategy to continuously facilitate self-management of osteoarthritis patients' procedures.

최근 4차 혁명과 연계하여 많은 선박 분야의 연구들이 수행되고 있으며, 그 중 하나로 에너지 관리시스템 (EMS: Energy Management System)이 관심을 받고 있다. 에너지 관리시스템은 선박의 에너지를 관리하기 위한 시스템을 통칭하며, 다양한 시스템을 포함한다. 본 논문에서는 선박에서의 에너지 절감 분야를 분석하고, 기관실에서 에너지 절감이 가능한 개별 부하 제어 시스템을 포함한 선박 전력 에너지 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 EMS는 PCS (Pump Control System), ERFCS (Engine Room Fan Control System), LCS (Load Control System), HVACS (Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning Control System)의 개별 부하 제어 시스템을 포함한다. 1차적으로, 제안하는 EMS는 기관실의 개별적인 부하 시스템에서 에너지를 절감한다. 2차적으로는 통합 모니터링 및 제어 시스템을 통해 발전 시스템과 전력 부하 시스템을 적절히 제어하여 에너지를 절감한다.

With the development of CNC(Computer Numerical Control) and communication technology, the connotation and functions of Distributed Numerical Control have been greatly enlarged. In this study, we develop and implement a Distributed Numerical Control system that has real time and multi-tasking operation capability for the machining cell with various NC(Numerical Control) and CNC machines. With the consideration of economy, generalization and extension, this system is interfaced with Shop Floor Control System, Machine Control System and Tool Preparation System using advanced networking method. In the implementation phase, we use the ORACLE DBMS (Database Management System) as the DBMS and Microsoft Visual C++ as the programming tools.

This paper presents several control charts for safety and environmental performance monitoring. We also propose guidelines that control charts for statistical process control can be used for safety and environmental performance evaluation.
