Development and implementation of smart pipe network operating platform focused on water quality management (스마트 상수관망 수질관리 운영플랫폼 개발과 적용)

  • 상수관망의 수질사고와 이상상황 발생시 대응을 위해서는 급수구역에 설치되어 있는 자동수질측정기, 정밀여과장치, 재염소주입설비, 자동드레인 등의 계측·제어설비들 간의 유기적인 정보공유를 통한 제어를 필요로 한다. 스마트 상수관망 운영플랫폼은 이러한 인프라 시설의 운영방안을 고려하여 분산되어 있는 계측데이터를 통합감시 및 제어하는 시스템으로 개발되었다. 상수관망 운영플랫폼은 능동형 분석 제어기술을 도입하여, 스마트 상수관망 인프라 설비를 최적제어할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 통합운영 플랫폼은 PostgreSQL, PostGIS, GeoServer, OpenLayers 등의 기술을 활용하여 개발하였다. 플랫폼은 계측감시, 시설관리, 운영제어 등의 기능으로 구성되며, 상수도 업무지원을 위한 관망해석 및 네트워크 분석 기능을 지원한다. 본 시스템은 스마트 상수도 구축사업을 통해 구축한 유량·수질모니터링 장비와 수질관리를 위해 도입된 재염소, 자동드레인 설비의 운영상태를 실시간 조회하는 모니터링 프로그램과, 관망해석 프로그램 그리고 대상설비의 최적제어를 위한 운영관리 프로그램으로 구성되어 있다. 모니터링 프로그램은 현장에서 측정되고 있는 유량, 수압, 수질, 펌프운전 등의 상태를 실시간으로 감시하고 클라우드 데이터베이스에 저장·관리하는 기능을 수행한다. 관망해석 프로그램은 EPA_Net모형과 연계되어 관망수리·수질해석을 수행하는 부분으로 재염소설비의 염소 추가주입이나 자동드레인을 통한 배제시 나타나게되는 관의 수리·수질변화를 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 분석하고 결과를 가시화 하는 기능을 갖고 있다. 운영관리 프로그램은 재염소 주입이 필요할 경우 주입량의 산정하는 부분과 관망 파손이나 수질사고 발생시 최적 단수예상지역을 도출하는 기능을 보유하고 있다. 향후 스마트 상수관망의 능동형 수질관리를 추진하는 지자체에 도입하여 인프라운영관리 기술 확보 및 수질관리 능력 개선과 실시간 감시 및 위기 대응능력 향상에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • A Science DeMilitarized Zone (DMZ) is an optimized network technology tailored to research data nature. The Science DMZ guarantees end-to-end network performance by forming a closed research network without redundant networking and security devices for the authorized researchers. Data Transfer Node (DTN) is an essential component for the high performance and security of the Science DMZ, since only transfer functions of research data are allowed to the DTN without any security- and performance-threatening functions such as commercial internet service. Current Science DMZ requires per-user DTN server installation which turns out a scalability limitation of the networks in terms of management overhead, entry barrier of the user, and networks-wise CAPEX. In order to relax the aforementioned scalability issues, this paper suggests a centralized DTN design where end users in a group can share the centralized DTN. We evaluate the effectiveness of the suggested sharable DTN design by comparing CAPEX against to that of current design with respect to the diverse network load and the state-of-the-art computing machine.

  • In this paper, we design ZigBee RF based framework for mobile web service on collected data by sensor node and transmitting data to data base by sensor network and remote sensing server through wireless connection. The proposed system is an integrated platform of sensor network for the sensor management and providing SOA based sensor web access. This paper combines SOA technology with sensor network. composes sensor node as web view, and provides high capability. extensiveness, reliability, and usability to the user who accesses to sensor web. The mobile message conversion module, SOAP message processing module. WSDL message generator, and mobile web service module is embodied for improving the capacity of the framework. The capacity evaluation of local wireless communication system which is proposed in this paper is analyzed through NS-2 simulation.

A Study on the Humanities-based Preliminary University Model : Focused on the P University (인문학 기반 예비대학 모델 연구: P 대학 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to design a humanities model for preliminary universities using an online platform to develop and expand humanities thinking of preliminary university students. P University Expert Focus Group Interview and student surveys are conducted, and based on the analysis results, a preliminary university model suitable for the humanities field is proposed. Expert FGI suggested the necessity of human resources education to build an online platform-based preliminary university model and improve humanities capabilities. As a result of the student survey, it was found that a majority of the respondents had high interest in humanities and recognized the need for a humanities preliminary university. This study proposes a humanities-based preliminary university model that enables interactive communication in virtual space using the cross-platform Photo Server. The implication of this study is that it contributes to strengthening the humanities capabilities of preliminary university students by presenting an online platform preliminary university model that can respond to changes in the external environment. Since this study has a limitation in that it does not present examples of preliminary universities, it is necessary to verify the educational effect of platform-based ppreliminary university management in the future.

SIP-based Session Management Architecture between Gateways and Servers on Mobius IoT Platform (모비우스 IoT 플랫폼에서 게이트웨이와 서버간 SIP 기반 세션 관리 구조)

  • The service structure of the Mobius IoT platform, which has been developed on the basis of the oneM2M standard, connects servers and gateways directly to exchange data using HTTP or MQTT. Such structure may cause problems not to operate IoT services safely. In this paper, we propose an effective structure to manage sessions between gateways (or devices) and server using SIP safely and stably. In addition, we provide the way to implement the proposed method on Mobius IoT platform. To verify the operation of the proposed method, we actually implement the proposed method on Mobius IoT platform, and construct a testbed for a typical IoT application service environment with SIP servers. The results of the experiment show that the proposed method works normally, and it can contribute to the stable operation of IoT services.

  • In the IoT(IoT: Internet of Things) environment, network configuration is essential to collect data generated from objects. Various communication methods are used to process data of objects, and wireless communication methods such as Bluetooth and WiFi are mainly used. In order to collect data of objects, a communication module must be installed to collect data generated from sensors or edge devices in real time. And in order to deliver data to the database, a software architecture must be configured. Data generated from objects can be stored and managed in a database in real time, and data necessary for industrial safety can be extracted and utilized for industrial safety service applications. In this paper, a network environment was constructed using a LoRa(LoRa: Long Range) gateway to collect object data, and a client/server data collection model was designed to collect object data transmitted from the LoRa module. In order to secure the resources necessary for data collection and storage management without data leakage, data collection should be possible in real time. As an application service, location data required for industrial safety can be stored and managed in a database in real time.

Development of Scenario-based Levee Breach Simulation Visualization Module for Smart City River Management (스마트시티 하천관리를 위한 시나리오 기반 제방 파제 시뮬레이션 가시화 모듈 개발)

  • 스마트시티 하천관리를 위해 선행된 연구에서는 도시하천관련 데이터를 수집-정제-제공하는 도시하천 통합데이터 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 이에 하천 분석을 위한 유역 유출, 하천 흐름 그리고 도시유출 등의 모듈과 하천 환경, 친수, 종합 평가 모델을 연계하여 도시하천관리 연계플랫폼으로 연구개발을 진행하였다. 본 연구에서는 스마트시티 하천관리를 위한 시나리오 기반 제방 파제 시뮬레이션 분석 결과 가시화 모듈에 관한 연구를 진행한다. 부산 EDC 지역을 대상으로 DEM, 항공영상, 위성영상, 하천 지리 정보, 하천 단면도 등의 데이터를 결합하여 하천 및 유역 전산 3D 형상 모델링을 진행한다. 또한 하천 내부 유량 및 파제 제체 모델링, 유동장 격자 모델링을 통해 제방 붕괴 범람 시뮬레이션 대상 지역을 구현한다. 해당 EDC 지역 구현 모델에 연속방정식, 운동량방정식, 수송방정식 등 지배방정식과 삼상 유동 기법 등 수치 해석 기법을 활용하여 제방 파제 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 시뮬레이션의 침수범위 및 침수심 분포 결과는 위경도를 포함한 ASCII Grid로 반환되며 GeoServer를 통한 좌표계 설정 및 도시하천 연계플랫폼에서 가시화하는 연구를 진행하였다. 제방 파제 시나리오는 제방 높이 2m, 제방 폭 7.5m, 파제 길이 20m로 설정하여 4개의 붕괴 위치를 지정하였고, 지정된 위치에 대한 제방 파제 3D 시뮬레이션을 통해 도출된 Case 별 2D/3D 영상과 침수심 공간 분포에 대한 Raster Graphics를 전처리하여 시나리오별 침수범위-침수심을 도시하천 연계플랫폼 상에서 가시화하는 연구를 진행하였다. 도시하천 연계플랫폼의 시나리오 기반 제방 파제 시뮬레이션 모듈을 통하여 스마트시티의 제방 파제 피해 양상 및 대책 마련 의사결정 보조로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Blockchain-based Smart Meter Authentication Protocol in Smart Grid Environment (스마트 그리드 환경에서 블록체인 기반 스마트 미터 인증 프로토콜)

  • Smart grid that supports efficient energy production and management is used in various fields and industries. However, because of the environment in which services are provided through open networks, it is essential to resolve trust issues regarding security vulnerabilities and privacy preservation. In particular, the identification information of smart meter is managed by a centralized server, which makes it vulnerable to security attacks such as device stolen, data forgery, alteration, and deletion. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a blockchain based authentication protocol for a smart meter. The proposed scheme issues an unique decentralized identifiers (DIDs) for individual smart meter through blockchain and utilizes a random values based on physical unclonable function (PUF) to strengthen the integrity and reliability of data. In addition, we analyze the security of the proposed scheme using informal security analysis and AVISPA simulation, and show the efficiency of the proposed scheme by comparing with related work.

Application for Workout and Diet Assistant using Image Processing and Machine Learning Skills (영상처리 및 머신러닝 기술을 이용하는 운동 및 식단 보조 애플리케이션)

  • In this paper, we developed a workout and diet assistance application to meet the growing demand for workout and dietary support services due to the increase in the home training population. The application analyzes the user's workout posture in real-time through the camera and guides the correct posture using guiding lines and voice feedback. It also classifies the foods included in the captured photos, estimates the amount of each food, and calculates and provides nutritional information such as calories. Nutritional information calculations are executed on the server, which then transmits the results back to the application. Once received, this data is presented visually to the user. Additionally, workout results and nutritional information are saved and organized by date for users to review.

  • In the cloud computing environment, servers and applications can be set up within minutes, and recovery in case of fail ures has also become easier. Particularly, using virtual servers in the cloud is not only convenient but also cost-effective compared to the traditional approach of setting up physical servers just for temporary services. However, most of the und erlying networks and security systems that serve as the foundation for such servers and applications are primarily hardwa re-based, posing challenges when it comes to implementing cloud virtualization. Even within the cloud, there is a growing need for virtualization-based security and protection measures for elements like networks and security infrastructure. This paper discusses research on enhancing the security of cloud networks using network virtualization technology. I configured a secure network by leveraging virtualization technology, creating virtual servers and networks to provide various security benefits. Link virtualization and router virtualization were implemented to enhance security, utilizing the capabilities of virt ualization technology. The application of virtual firewall functionality to the configured network allowed for the isolation of the network. It is expected that based on these results, there will be a contribution towards overcoming security vulnerabil ities in the virtualized environment and proposing a management strategy for establishing a secure network.
