This study prepared a foundation to provide high-quality services in a stable and effective way to meet the customer expectations, by building up and establishing an ISO 20000 certified IT service management system and protecting the information assets from various threats through effective system operation that meets the requirements of international standards, in order to ensure the reliability and stability of NDSL public services provided by KISTI Information Service Center and to enhance the customer satisfaction.

Although the role of information system has been rapidly increasing in modern management, there have been few researches on the quality assurance in information system. This paper suggests how to apply quality function deployment(QFD) to information system development in order to build up user-centered quality assurance system. The main focus of the paper is how to design the linkages between management strategy, information systems, and the users using quality function deployment.

In order to guarantee the user-requested quality-of-service(QoS) and keep the network utilization at maximum it is required to manage the network performance continuously after the network installation. The performance management function should provide the useful information for the network expansion and the capacity reallocation in the future. Currently the TINA provides the specification of the management function of configuration management connection management and fault management ; but the management function of performance management and security management are not well-defined yet. In this paper we propose a TINA-based performance management architecture for the efficient performance management of the heterogeneous networks or NEs with TMN and SNMP management functions. And we examine the proposed architecture into the ATM network (with SNMP and TMN) monitoring. The proposed architecture is based on the distributed processing architecture and the concept the TMN perfo mance management. The proposed architecture have been designed and implemented in multiprocess and multithread structure.

Within the building industry, building information modelling has been widely applied among different organizations, disciplines and project phases. In order to achieve coordination and synergy collaborative effort, it demands organized information flow and communication for effective implementation of project management through the construction process. Although many BIM researches provides solutions for project management, few efforts have involved the whole life-cycle process of project. In this article, BIM-based project management relying on a series of applications of BIM technology was introduced by coupling management requirement of a project with BIM. Through adopting BIM to the life-cycle management of the project and incorporating BIM applications to project management practice, we have developed a BIM-based project management approach that specialize in integrated BIM chain and interface-supporting system. At the end, the developing process of BIM-based project management approach is concluded.

House management is very important in water resource protection in order to provide sustainable drinking water for about four millions population in northern Taiwan. House management can be a simple job that can be done without any ingredient of remote sensing or geographic information systems. Remote sensing and GIS integration for house management can provide more efficient management prescription when land use enforcement, soil and water conservation, sewage management, garbage collection, and reforestation have to be managed simultaneously. The objective of this paper was to integrate remote sensing and GIS to manage houses in a water resource protection district. More than four thousand houses have been surveyed and created as a house data base. Site map of every single house and very detail information consisting of address, ownership, date of creation, building materials, acreages floor by floor, parcel information, and types of house condition. Some houses have their photos in different directions. One house has its own card consists these information and these attributes were created into a house data base. Site maps of all houses were created with the same coordinates system as parcel maps, topographic maps, sewage maps, and city planning maps. Visual Basic.NET, Visual C#.NET have been implemented to develop computer programs for house information inquiry and maps overlay among house maps and other GIS map layers. Remote sensing techniques have been implemented to generate the background information of a single house in the past 15 years. Digital orthophoto maps at a scale of 1:5000 overlay with house site maps are very useful in determination of a house was there or not for a given year. Satellite images if their resolutions good enough are also very useful in this type of daily government operations. The developed house management systems can work with commercial GIS software such as ArcView and ArcPad. Remote sensing provided image information of a single house whether it was there or not in a given year. GIS provided overlay and inquiry functions to automatically extract attributes of a given house by ownership, address, and so on when certain house management prescriptions have to be made by government agency. File format is the key component that makes remote sensing and GIS integration smoothly. The developed house management systems are user friendly and can be modified to meet needs encountered in a single task of a government technician.

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify correlations between how much fever management information mothers obtained from the internet and their actual knowledge and practices of fever management. Methods: This was a descriptive survey of 172 mothers with children aged between 0 and 3 attending five daycare centers located in the city of Daegu. Descriptive statistics, the independent t-test or one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation coefficients were used for data analysis. Results: In total, 75% of the mothers had searched the internet for information on fever management. The overwhelming majority (92.2%) used information from the internet to help manage fever in their children. Positive correlations were found between acquiring fever management information from the internet and fever management practices (r=.18, p=.038), and between mother's knowledge and practices of fever management (r=.27, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, to improve fever management practices, it is necessary to increase mothers' knowledge. Therefore, resources should be developed to augment mothers' knowledge of fever management through the internet.

With labor shortage and high-wage, the construction cost is rising and the construction-business is dull, demanding the construction environment of Korea to raise profitability through major cost savings and rationalization of construction management. Therefore, in this study, to improve many problems found in calculating rebar quantity for capital expenditure programming which is considered the beginning stage of rebar work. and to improve problems such as no grasping of rebar loss due to lack of systematic management in order/purchase stage and construction management stage, a rebar information-management-system was found and preyed. The relation database was designed for the rebar information management system by analyzing work process of a rebar manufacturing plant, as the rebar information that is necessary in a rebar manufacturing plant if similar to that of a purchasing department of general construction company. The Proposed rebar information management system was implemented in two large rebar production plants. The implementation of the proposed system showed that the system increased work efficiency, reduced the management manpower, and improved the project-integrated management

This article analyzes the direction of 'business-Friendly' record management in electronic records environment which means paradigm shift in record management. In the first place, this article investigates the interrelationship of business, records and record management through natures of electronic records, and analyzes direction of purposes and roles of record management in electronic records environment. After all, this article rebuilds a significance and roles of record management in active stage, and provides theoretical bases for close relation between record management and information management in electronic records environment.

In this paper, we model management information for Internet service, and design and implement management architecture using CORBA and Web technologies. Concretely, we also extend WWW Service MIB so that it presents service management model which can manage WWW service effectively. We have developed management tool such as Map Editor and MIB Browser. SERVICE fault/performance/configuration management functions are also designed and implemented.
