  • $\ulcorner$Cost Effectiveness Analysis$\lrcorner$ has been widely used to evaluate the effectiveness of R&D resources. But, almost of cost effectiveness evaluation systems have some problems, especially the cross effect among R&D projects has not been considered. To solve this problem, we have designed a new $\ulcorner$Cross Effect Evaluation System(CEES)$\lrcorner$, which are able to estimate multi-effects and cross effects by completion time among several projects.

  • This paper reviews and classify fault-tree analysis methods developed since 1960 for system safety and reliability. Fault-tree analysis is a useful analytic tool for the reliability and safety of complex systems. The literature on fault-tree analysis is, for the most part, scattered through conference proceedings and company reports. This paper classify the literature according to system definition, fault-tree construction, qualitative evaluation, quantitative evaluation, and available computer codes for fault-tree analysis.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic material about the improvement method of the hospital evaluation system by grasping recognition, corresponding behavior to evaluation, influence and problems about the hospital evaluation system with respect to the employee of mid sized hospitals having relatively poorer environment. In this study were used 518 questionnaires to hospital employee working at 20 general hospitals in Pusan, Kyungnam with less than 500 beds and having experience of the hospital evaluation during 2005~2007. As a result of the research, they felt the investigation tool used for the hospital evaluation has too many items and it could be difficult to reflect characteristics of each hospital. It appeared that utilization of the report result after the hospital evaluation was helpful for grasping a part necessary for hospital improvement and the present level of hospitals and increase of interest about medical service quality improvement of the a hospital director or hospital employee. They trusted the result of the hospital evaluation to some degree, and recognized it helps the patients to select a hospital and increase rights-to-know. Hospital employee recognized the necessity and showed high interest and participation, but they didn't sympathize in the propriety and the feasibility of the hospital evaluation items. High degree evaluated hospital employee receive hospital evaluation system positively and think hospital services to be improve after taking hospital evaluation. The hospital evaluation should make the hospital to effort to achieve medical quality improvement to its purpose. Also, systematic reformation will be necessary to reflect characteristics of the hospital that has relatively small scale or locates in poor environment.

  • This research paper represents family volunteer management system for the purpose of activating family volunteer activities. This family volunteer management system is based on the family volunteer activity cases by healthy family support center in Cheon-An City. The following data is the evaluation of effectiveness in the family volunteer management system. 9 families (32 people) among family volunteers who are participated in activities worked for twelve to eighteen hours per a month; one to six times per a month; at the more than two different social welfare facilities. They volunteered in the areas of cultural experience programs for the immigrant's families, baby cares, help for the handicaps and hospice. Family volunteers showed high satisfaction levels; average 4.37 out of 5; in the Family volunteer's management system. They checked in the area of volunteer's training, activity period, activity places, teamwork, healthy family support center, and supervisor of volunteer center.

  • Quality evaluation and control represent increasingly important concerns for construction quality management. There is an evident need for a standard data model to be used as the basis for computer-aided quality management. This study focuses on how to realize evaluation of construction quality based on BIM and database technology. In this paper, the reinforced concrete main structure is taken as an example, and the BP neural network evaluation model is established by inquiring current construction quality acceptance specification and evaluation standard. Furthermore, IFC standard is extended to integrate quality evaluation information and realize the mapping of evaluation information in BIM model, contributing to the visualization and transfer sharing of evaluation information. Furthermore, the conceptual entity model is designed to build quality evaluation database, and this paper select MySQL workbench system to achieve the establishment of the database. This study is organized to realize the requirement of visualization and data integration on construction quality evaluation which makes it more effective, convenient, intuitive, easy to find quality problems and provide more comprehensive and reliable data for the quality management of construction enterprises and official construction administratiors.

  • This research aims to verify individual and organizational factors that will affect knowledge sharing, especially in research & development organizations with a premise that knowledge sharing is one of the most important factors of successful knowledge management. Many factors which are supposed to affect knowledge sharing arc empirically investigated in this research : individual factors ((1)self esteem (2)expected contribution), organizational factors ((3)top management's will, (4)accessibility of knowledge management system (5)validity of evaluation & reward knowledge sharing, (6)trust, (7)open communication). As a result, it is found that 'expected contribution' among individual factors and 'open communication' and 'validity of evaluation & reward' among organizational factors are highly correlated with knowledge sharing. These findings suggest that enhancement of perceived expected contribution among employees and building cultures of open communication and effective evaluation & reward system for knowledge sharing will contribute to activation of knowledge sharing in the research and development organizations.

  • This study established the evaluation index system of green logistics of Changjitu in Chinarelated to environment, resource, economics and technology. It derived the weight value of indexes by using AHP method analyzing interviews logistics researchers and surveys. Based on the results, the paper described the problems of Changjitu's green logistics and proposed some development suggestions.

  • Professional Construction Management (PCM) services have become more and more popular in Taiwan in the past decade. However, disputes between PCM consultant and the client on the performance of PCM services are also increasing. The evaluation of PCM performance is a tough task due to the lack of "physical product", such as the drawings finished by the architect. This paper is intended to propose a PCM performance evaluation system (PPES) based on Balanced Scorecard (BSC).   • In railway system, the transportation plan corresponds to master plan for transport services. This service plan must be constructed to minimize operational cost or maximize revenue considering transportation demands and resource capacities in the operation company, and includes several sub-planning activities such as train operation frequency plan, train (schedule) plan, train capacity assignment plan, and rolling stock requirement plan. In this paper, we present profitability evaluation system for current transportation plan. The proposed system can be used for evaluating profitability by estimating train service revenue considering customer demands.
