A Push Agent System for Personalizing e-Mails using Extraction of User Preference Mail Formatn (사용자 선호 메일 형식을 통한 개인화 이메일 푸쉬 에이전트 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a system that generates a new customizing information for customer with classification and analysis in detail and provides customized information to individual customers automatically. A proposed system generate preference information and preference e-mail format as analysis and calculate that e-mail open rate and mouse event information. Using generated interesting information and preference e-mail format, individual customer's interest information according to e-mail standard and format that customer prefers through agent automatically recompose and push to customer. From experiment, the designed and implemented system showed high e-mail open ratio and user's satisfaction in performance assessment.

  • This paper describes the problem of existing maintenance system for mail sorting machnies, and presents to-be considerations of maintenance system based on AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis with efficiency and economic aspects. There are standard procedure for diagnosis and repair of mail sorting machine as preventive and operational maintenance, roles and missions of maintenance technical support center for upgrade of maintenance skill in this paper. The proposed maintenance system will be adapted for more safety and efficiency maintenance of mail sorting machine.

  • We propose an automatic spam mail classifier for e-mail data using Support Vector Machines (SVM). We use a lexical form of a word and its part of speech (POS) tags as features. We select useful features with ${\chi}^2$ statistics and represent each feature using text frequency (TF) and inversed document frequency (IDF) values for each feature. After training SVM with the features, SVM classifies each email as spam mail or not. In experiment, we acquired 82.7% of accuracy with e-mail data collected from a web mail system.

  • Currently, the communication between land and sea using Inmarsat terminal can communicate telephone, telex, fax, e-mail, data transmission. The exist e-mail program between land and sea has developed to reduce communication fee because of high satellite communication coast and low speed. In case of fax service has defect of paper, out-time, high cost. In this paper, we describes the design of fax service system based on Internet for land and sea. This fax system has been integrate e-mail system function and existing fax system function. For this purpose, the hardware module has connect e-mail system and PSTN.

  • Due to the rapid growth of Internet, means of communication with customers in a traditional customer support environment such as telephone calls are being replaced by mainly e-mail in a Web-based customer support system. Although such a Web-based support is efficient and promises potential benefits for firms, including reduced transaction costs, reduced time, and high quality of support, there are some difficulties associated with responding to many types of customer's inbound e-mails appropriately. As many types of e-mail are received, considerable attention is being paid to methods for increasing the efficiency of managing and responding e-mails. This research proposes an intelligent system for managing customer's inbound e-mails in organizations by applying case based reasoning technique for responding to various customers' inbound e-mails more effectively. In this approach, a case is represented as a frame-typed data structure corresponding to an inbound e-mail, keywords, and its reply e-mail. In the retrieval procedure, keywords and affinity set is developed to index a case, and then the case is represented as a vector, a case vector. Also, cosines value is calculated to measure the similarity between a new inbound e-mail and the cases in the case base. In the adaptation procedure, we provide several adaptation strategies to adapt and modify the retrieved case. The strategies guide to make an outbound e-mail using product databases, databases for customer support, etc. Additionally, the Web-based system architecture is proposed to implement our methodology. The proposed methodology and system will be helpful for developing more efficient Web-based customer support.

  • 본 논문에서는 E-mail을 적용한 지능형 E-mail 지식관리시스템을 제안하고자 한다. E-mail은 사용자에게 익숙하고, 정형화된 정보로 표현이 쉽고, 이미 많이 구축되어 있는 시스템이다. 이러한 E-mail의 정보를 활용하여 사용자에 따라 지식을 평가하고, 지식그룹 생성이 가능한 지식 관리 시스템을 설계한다. 이를 위해서 클러스터링을 이용해 지식간의 유사 정도에 따라 유사한 지식을 그룹화 시키는 지식그룹(Knowledge Group) 생성 알고리즘을 제안하고 사용자의 선호도(preference)를 반영하기 위해 사용자 프로파일(User Profile)을 설계하고, 사용자의 선호도에 적합한 지식을 검색하는고리즘을 제안한다.

  • Recently, e-mail has become an important way of communications in IT societies, but it creates various social problems due to increase of spam mails. Even though many organizations and cooperation have been trying researches to develop spam mail blocking technologies, a lot of cost and system complexities are required because of varieties of spam blocking technologies. In this paper, we designed of the SMBC(Spam Mail Blocking Center) using the Fit FA(Filtering Algorithm) Finder. Fit-FA Finder that search and applises spam mail filtering algorithm of the most suitable confrontation according to type of spam mail. The system of spam mail filtering is decided performance of the system by procedure that spam filter is used. Go through designed Fit-FA Finder and reduced unnecessary filtering process and processing time and load than appointment order filter application way of existent spam mail interception system.

  • Recently, as computers and networks become popular, distributing information on the Internet is common In our daily life. also, the explosion of the Internet. of wireless digital communication and data exchange on Internet has rapidly changed the way we connect with other people. In the past, e-mail has been the primary choice of exchanging Information, but secure mail is gaining popularity abroad and domestically because of their nature of providing security. That is. it has been used a variety of fields such as general mail and e-mail for advertisement. But, As the data transmitted on network can be easily opened or forged with simple operations. most of existing e-mail system don't have any security on the transmitted information. Thus. security mail system need to provide security including message encryption, content Integrity, message origin authentication, and non-repudiation. In this paper, we design implement secure mail system with non-repudiation service and encryption capability to provide services for certification of delivery and certification of content as well as the basic security services.   • E-mail has been eidely used for unformation delivery as an Inernet serive. As multimedia etchnologies are developed rapidly, most of the recent Unternet infornation servies support multimedia data. E-mail system also needs to suport multimedia nesage. But Internet mail servise using simple maiol transfer protocol(SMTP) speci-fied in RFC 821/822 handles only ASCII text messages repressented with 7-bit code. Each line the message has the length limitation as well. Those are why it cannot satisfy the diverse user'w demands. Multipuepose Unternet mail extensions(MIMZE), which is a modification and supplement of RFC 822,was proposed for supporting transportation of multimedia data.It can solve the limitations of sizes and types in contents of a message. In this study the E-mail system has been designed and implemented according to the MIME standard in order to solve the limitations of transpotation of messages regardless of the message content type. Hypertext markup language(HTML)syntax is applied to the mail system, and so it is possible to display a message consisting of differnt media as an intergrated from for the purpose of better understanding a message. No application program is needed for displaying a message including image data,and convenience for user is considered in the system. The futuer work is to improve the E-mail system so that it may support motion pictures and sound information,Thereby tge perfor multimeda E-mail system providing inergrated user's wiew will be developed.
