페로니켈슬래그 순환자원을 활용한 점토기와의 성능평가 (Study of Characteristics of Clay Roof Tiles Using Ferro Nickle Slag Recycled Resources)

  • 건설산업의 환경부하를 최소화하기 위해서는 건축 자재의 친환경성을 강화하고 내구수명을 연장하여 신축 및 철거를 최소화의 필요성이 있다. 따라서 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 많은 한옥의 지붕마감 공법이 제안되었지만 현재는 경제성, 무게, 내구성 등의 문제점으로 기존공법을 사용하는 추세이다. 한옥 건물의 지붕재로 사용되는 점토기와의 제조방법에 경주에서 생산된 기와용 점토와 고령토와 S사의 재활용 FNS(Ferro Nickel Slag) 활용하여 문제를 해결하고자 연구를 진행하여 한국전통 점토기와의 개발 특성과 재료를 연구하고 관련 기초자료를 제시한다.

황토-마그네시아 복합체 활용 Living Concrete의 품질특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Quality Properties of Living Concrete Using Loess-Magnesia Composites)

  • 본 연구에서는 Living Concrete의 품질특성 평가결과 유동성은 황토 혼합율 증가에 따라 테이블 플로우가 감소하는 경향이 나타났으며, 압축강도는 황토 혼합율 증가에 따라 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 경량화를 위하여 밀도 특성 평가를 실시하였으며, 비교군으로 시멘트를 사용한 패널과 비교한 결과 시멘트 패널의 밀도에 비해 약 20 % 낮은 밀도가 측정되어 하중에 영향을 적게 받아 구조물에 설치가 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 패널온도 저감성을 평가한 결과 시간에 따른 온도 저감의 차이가 나타났으며, 이끼가 착근된 패널이 이끼가 착근되지 않은 패널보다 온도의 저감이 나타나 수직형 녹화시스템에 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Effect of Sinter Additives on Sol-Gel Derived Alumina Fibres

  • Alumina fibre has been synthesized successfully by sol-gel technique. Boehmite sol was prepared by hydrolyzing aluminium iso-propoxide and peptizing it with nitric acid. The stable sol thus obtained was used for fibre drawing when their viscosity reached the required value as a result of progress of the hydrolyzation and polycondensation reaction. The fibres dried at 11$0^{\circ}C$ for 12 hours were sintered at 1$600^{\circ}C$ for 5 hours. A reasonable sintered density with better microstructure and strength have been attained using 2 wt% of urea, magnesia and silica as sinter additives. Thermal analysis with sintering additives of 2 wt% and phase determination of the heat treated fibres using XRD and FT IR spectra confirms the phase transitions. The observation of surface and cross-section of the fibres were made using SEM. Fibres of uniform circular cross-section is obtained by fixing the shape in a setting solution.

Cordierite의 합성 및 내화갑제조에 관한 연구 (Synthesis of Cordierite and Preparation of Refractory Setter from Domestic Raw Materials)

  • In order to obtain the superior refractory setter having better spalling resistance, cordierite was synthesized from domestic raw materials. Raw mixtures were fired between 125$0^{\circ}C$ and 140$0^{\circ}C$, and qualitative determination of crytallization was investigated by x-ray diffraction analysis. The results obtained are as follows; 1) The optimum batch composition of synthesized cordierite is 80.5% of Hadong kaolin (pink), 14% of Kyulsung tromolite talc and 5.5% of magnesia clinker, and the firing temperature is 1375$^{\circ}C$. 2) The composition of the refractory setter which exhibits the best values for the thermal properties is 40% of synthesized cordierite, 30% of kaolin chamotte(contains more than 60% of mullite), and 30% of Japanese clay. 3) The optimum particle size distribution of ternary mixture consists of 50% of coarse articles (3.327-1.168mm), 25% of intermediate particles (1.168-0.208mm) and 25% of fine particles (0.208-0.000mm).

  • This research examined the fundamental property of the MgO as the fundamental study that substituted the MgO in the low melting point modified sulfur mortar to examine the physical properties.In this research, the table floor, flexural strength test, and compressive strength test were performed. And as the replacement ratio increased, the floor showed the tendency to increase. And when being the replacement ratio 3%, the flexural strength and compressive strength made the high strength. In case of being substituted for over 5% they displayed the tendency that the intensity is degraded.

연소합성에 의한 크로메이트 내화물 제조 (Chromate Refractory by Combustion Process)

  • Self propagating synthesis and thermal explosion of combustion reactions were applied to Al/K2Cr2O7/Al2O3 system as the first stage for a production of magnesia-chromium refractory. Several factors related to products made by two combustion reactions were considered and properties of products were characterised. Two processes were required to preheat upto at least 80$0^{\circ}C$ for the thermal explosion and the self propagating synthesis. These processes were so violent and explosive that alumina as diluent was added to the system in order to absorb the reaction heat and reduce the reaction rate. The products consisted of crystal phases of KAl5O8, Cr2O3, Al2O3, K2CrO4, and K2Al2O4.3H2O. The amount of KAl5O8 and K2Al2O4.3H2O crystal phases of products were decreased with further addition of alumina.

부분 및 완전 안정화 지르코니아의 열확산 계수 (Thermal Diffusivity of Partially and Fully Stabilized Zirconia)

  • Thermal diffusivities of zirconia samples partially or fully stabilized by MgO and $Y_2O_3$ were measured b laser-flash method up to 140$0^{\circ}C$ The values of thermal diffusivity decreased as the contents of MgO and $Y_2O_3$ increased due to the phonon scattering effect of defect structure of cubic phase formed. The temperature dependence of thermal diffusivity showed that the thermal diffusivity values decreased due to phono-phonon scattering as the temperature increased. The difference in thermal diffusivity was observed on cooling after heating up to 140$0^{\circ}C$ for magnesia stabi-lized zirconia samples but not for yttria stabilized zirconia samples.

  • The forming reaction processes of magnesium aluminate spinel by a thermal decomposition of sulfate hydrate were studied with DTA, TG. SEM and X-ray powder diffraction methods. The hydrous salt composed of the mixture of the two compounds of $MgSO_4$ $6H_2O$ and ${AL_2}({SO_4})_17H_2O_3$ in which both sulfates were crystalline. On heating the hydrous slat the crystalline magnesium and aluminum sulfate anhydride to amorphous alumina magnesium sulfate anhydride decomposed to amorphous magnesia and these amorphous oxides reacted completely each other to form a spinel at $1000^{\circ}C$ The apparent activation energy of forming reaction of spinel was 36.5 kcal/mole($900^{\circ}C$~$1000^{\circ}C$) The crystallite size of spinel obtained at $1000^{\circ}C$ after 1 h was 380$\AA$.

  • Recently, Subway workers have died from lung cancer. According to the Epidemiological Survey of the Welfare Corporation Institute of Pulmonary Disease of the Welfare Corporation, the family members applied for industrial accidents. The radon concentration in the subway work area was found to exceed 10 times the recommended standard value of 148 becquerels (Bq/㎥) in domestic multipurpose facilities. In addition, as a result of the national indoor radon concentration survey conducted by the Ministry of Environment in 2010 and 2013, housing was found to be over 100 becquerels (Bq/㎥) in 41% of the surveyed subjects. In addition, it was found that in 2012, 16.3% of villages exceeded the radon standard value in the survey on natural radioactive materials containing groundwater.

  • This study that prevent cancer using absorbent to inflow Radon gas in the room existing soil and rock is making board to absorb the Radon gas as a fundamental study. So, we use bentonite as a absorbent. So, we use bentonite as a absorbent. Bentonite is a 'clay mineral' composed to montmorillonite of main component that volcanic ash denatured to a clay mineral. Bentonite has fine microparticle of nano level, abundant mineral 66 of kinds, adsorbability, swelling, a positive ion(heavy metal adsorption reaction) as a bentonite's property. Using magnesia cement for oxide of magnesiuma and magnesium chloride as a main binder, we measure Radon gas absorbent efficiency and thermal conductivity.
