In this paper, the cutting force calculation of ball-end mill processing was modeled mathematically. All derivations of cutting forces were directly based on the tangential, radial, and axial cutting force components. In the developed mathematical model of cutting forces, the relationship of average cutting force and the feed per flute was characterized as a linear function. The cutting force coefficient model was formulated by a function of average cutting force and other parameters such as cutter geometry, cutting conditions, and so on. An experimental method was proposed based on the stable milling condition to estimate the cutting force coefficients for ball-end mill. This method could be applied for each pair of tool and workpiece. The developed cutting force model has been successfully verified experimentally with very promising results.

This study focused on researching the factors affecting retail banking efficiency of Vietcombank branches in the Mekong-Delta region. By collecting data from financial statements from 15 branches of VCB in the Mekong-Delta Region between 2015 and 2018, the paper applies DEA estimation to measure the effectiveness of retail banking activities and uses the Tobit regression model to identify factors affecting retail banking efficiency. The results demonstrate that the retail banking efficiency of branches averaged 52.5% during the period. The rating result shows the branches in An Giang, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Kien Giang, Long An, Phu Quoc and Tra Noc rank at the top technical efficiency. In group of medium efficiency, there are branches in Soc Trang, Tien Giang and Vinh Long. In the category of the poor efficiency are the branches in Bac Lieu, Ben Tre, Ca Mau, Chau Doc and Tra Vinh. The results also show that bank scale-related factors, capital adequacy, credit quality, time specific and region impact significantly the retail banking efficiency. The research not, only contributes to enriching the empirical research method but also is significant for the management activities in business developing strategies, improving the operational efficiency of Vietcombank in the region.

The Maa speaking Torobo people inhabiting the southern portion of the Mau Escarpment in Kenya approach both individual and community survival from a relational orientation focused on ethnic identity and responsibility. This social responsibility to the tribe is in stark contrast to Torobo relationships with other ethnic groups. The purpose of the research is twofold. First, the paper explores how folkloric language through a trickster image reflects important cultural and social ideals, understandings, and patterns of thought in Torobo world view. A second purpose is to offer ethnographic information to scholars and students' alike necessary for world view studies of eastern Africa specifically focused on the interplay between anthropomorphic tales and the social context in which these stories are utilized. The key research question for this analysis asks how the trickster image in Torobo folklore conceptualize the life experience. A Torobo folktale entitled, The Clever Hare, is the text chosen for analysis with the hare character as the protagonist. A second query explores the importance of the trickster image in understanding Torobo world view categories of Self and Other. The analysis contributes an ethnographic perspective for the world view categories of Self and Other as well as trickster folklore by examining the nature of Torobo-ness using the tale of the cunning hare as a research tool.

콘솔 및 PC 게임이 모바일 플랫폼으로 진출하는 경우 기존에 출시했던 플랫폼과 다르게 모바일 플랫폼에 맞는 조작, UI, 과금 정책 등의 다양한 부분을 고려할 필요가 있다. 모바일 플랫폼의 화면 크기 조작의 한계를 반영해 전투, 퀘스트 진행, 파티 조합, 장비 장착, 캐릭터 육성 등 게임 플레이 전반의 자동 시스템을 구축해 유저에게 조작 편의성을 제공할 필요가 있다. 또한 기존의 유료화 게임 형태의 판매 전략에서 부분 유료화의 전환에 따른 기존의 유저가 느낄 수 있는 과금 거부감을 해소하기 위해 시즌 패스, 월정액 시스템 등을 도입해 소 과금으로 유저들에게 게임 내에서 만족감을 느낄 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 게임의 일회적인 판매량이 매출에 영향을 주는 것과 다르게 주기적인 유저들의 접속(DAU, MAU)에 따른 과금 정도가 매출 및 게임 순위 등에 영향을 주게 된다. 따라서 꾸준한 업데이트와 이벤트 제공을 통해 기존 유저들이 장기적으로 게임에 접속하도록 유도하고, 신규 유저들이 게임에 유입될 수 있도록 하는 과정과 같은 발전 방안을 제시해 본다.

Aerial base stations (ABSs) seem promising to enhance the coverage and capacity of fifth-generation and upcoming networks. With the flexible mobility of ABSs, they can be positioned in air to maximize the number of users served with a guaranteed quality of service (QoS). However, ABSs may be overloaded or underutilized given inefficient placement, and user association has not been well addressed. Hence, we propose a three-dimensional ABS placement scheme with a delay-QoS-driven user association to balance loading among ABSs. First, a load balancing utility function is designed based on proportional fairness. Then, an optimization problem for joint ABS placement and user association is formulated to maximize the utility function subject to statistical delay QoS requirements and ABS collision avoidance constraints. To solve this problem, we introduce an efficient modified gray wolf optimizer for ABS placement with a greedy user association strategy. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms baselines in terms of load balancing and delay QoS provisioning.

Nowadays, wireless communication has a great advantage in technology. We use wireless devices almost in all expected life such as: entertainment, working and recently in the healthcare area, where Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) become a hot topic for researchers and system designers. Recent work on WBANs focus on related issues to communication protocol, especially ZigBee network is fine tuned to meet particular requirements in healthcare area. For example, some papers present real-time patient monitoring via ZigBee communication given the short distance between body sensors and remote devices, while the other work solve the limited coverage problem of Zigbee by designing mechanisms to relay Zigbee data to other types of wire or wireless infrastructure. However, very few of them investigate the scenarios of ZigBee coexisting or integrated with other networks. In this paper, we present the real-time data transmission from ZigBee end devices to Wide Area Network (WAN), Worldwide interoperation for microwave access network (WiMAX) and Long Term Evolution network (LTE). We provide in detail the ZigBee gateway components. Our simulation is conducted by OPNET, we visualize many topology network scenarios in ZigBee hybrid system. The results in simulation show that ZigBee end devices can successfully transmit data in real-time to other network end devices.

Purpose: Modified Mau and Akin osteotomy for hallux valgus is followed by moderate to severe postoperative pain. Ultrasound-guided sciatic nerve block can be an effective option for pain control. We attempted to evaluate the efficacy of the ultrasound-guided sciatic nerve block in controlling postoperative pain. Materials and Methods: The charts of 59 consecutive patients were retrospectively reviewed between December 2014 and August 2015. Twenty-eight patients (the patient group) has received the ultrasound-guided sciatic nerve block after surgery, and 31 patients (the control group) has not received such procedure. The primary outcome was the satisfaction scale for postoperative pain control and postoperative visual analogue scale (VAS) score. Results: The VAS score at postoperative day one was significantly lower in the patient group than in the control group. The satisfaction scale for pain control for postoperative 1 day was significantly different between the two groups. In patient group, most patients have rated positively ('strongly agree' 42.9%, 'agree' 42.9%); however, in the control group, the rating scales were distributed relatively negatively ('strongly agree' 9.7%, 'agree' 22.6%, 'neutral' 29.0%, 'disagree' 25.8%, 'strongly disagree' 12.9%). The number of postoperative rescue analgesics injection was significantly lower in the patient group than in the control group. Conclusion: Postoperative ultrasound-guided sciatic nerve block was effective for pain relief after hallux valgus surgery.

Aloe(Aloe vera LINNE) has been used as a home medicine for the past several thousand in the world, and has been studied on various chronic degenerative diseases such as atherosclerosis, myocardiac infarction and hypertension. SMAP8, learning and memory impairment animal mode, were fed basic or experimental diets with 1.0% of freeze dried(FD)-Aloe powder for 8 months. This study was designed to investigate the effects of Aloe on body weight gain, grading score of senescence(GSS), triglyceride, total and LDL-cholesterol levels, and atherogenic index in serum of SAMP8, and also designed to investigate the effects of Aloe on cholesterol accumultions in mitochondria and microsome fractions of SAMP8 brain. Body weight gain was consistently lower in aloe group than in control group, but no significantly differences between them. Grading score of senescence resulted ina marked decreases pf 20% in 1.0% Aloe group compared with control group. Administrations of 1.0% aloe resulted ina marked decreases in 15% and 20% of triglyceride and cholesterol levels, respectively, and also significantly decreased in 15% of LDL-cholesterol levels and atherogenic index in serum of SAMP8 compared with control group. Cholesterol accumulations were significantly inhibited in 20% and 10% of mitochondria and microsome fractions of SAMP8 brain, respectively, by administration of 1.0% Aloe. These results suggest that administration of Aloe mau not only effectively inhibit chronic degenerative diseases in serum of SAMP8, but may also improve learning and memory impairments of SAMP8 brain.

The MAU series has been usually used for the fishing vessel's propeller, which has been improved in consideration of the efficiency as well as the cavitation point of view in Pusan National University. The high efficiency standard series propeller(KF series) has been applied to the design of 52ton class fishing vessel's propeller in the previous study. The experimental study for the performance of the design propellers called KF series for 52 ton class fishing vessel has been conducted with five cases in Korea Ocean Research & Development Institute towing tank. The model tests have been carried out at different pitch ratio and expanded area ratio in comparison with the standard propeller to make the series chart. The KF series chart and the formula for performance expression have been completed on the basis of the experiment result.

Capparis pubifolia B. S. Sun is reported here as a new addition to the flora of Vietnam. It is morphologically allied to C. sikkimensis Kurz but differs due to the gray-yellow color of the hair of the twigs, having more secondary veins on the leaf, trichomes on both surfaces of the petal, and a globose shape of the fruit. Thus far, it was only reported in the Guangxi and Yunnan areas of China. A description, a line drawing and color photographs are provided for species identification. Furthermore, a comparison of the diagnostic characters with those of related species is made.
