GENERALIZATION OF LAGUERRE MATRIX POLYNOMIALS FOR TWO VARIABLES

  • The main object of the present paper is to introduce the generalized Laguerre matrix polynomials for two variables. We prove that these matrix polynomials are characterized by the generalized hypergeometric matrix function. An explicit representation, generating functions and some recurrence relations are obtained here. Moreover, these matrix polynomials appear as solution of a differential equation.

  • The main object of this study is to introduce the spaces $c_0({\hat{F}^q)$ and $c({\hat{F}^q)$ derived by the matrix ${\hat{F}^q$ which is the multiplication of Riesz matrix and Fibonacci matrix. Moreover, we find the 𝛼-, 𝛽-, 𝛾- duals of these spaces and give the characterization of matrix classes (${\Lambda}({\hat{F}^q)$, Ω) and (Ω, ${\Lambda}({\hat{F}^q)$) for 𝚲 ∈ {c0, c} and Ω ∈ {ℓ1, c0, c, ℓ}.

  • In the work we generate arithmetic matrix P(c,b,a) of (cx2 + bx+a)n from a Pascal matrix P(1,1). We extend an identity P(1,1))O(1,1) = P(1,1,1) with an obtuse matrix O(1,1) to k degree polynomials. For the purpose we study P(1,1)kO(1,1) and find generating polynomials of O(1,1)k.

  • A continuum analysis of the evolution of plasticity and Bauschinger effect in a short fiber reinforced metal matrix composite, based on the FEM solution for a single fiber model has been performed to investigate the strengthening behavior. The evolution of matrix field quantities during one cycle of fully reversed loading have been examined in detail. The results indicate that the role of constrained matrix flow in generating different levels of matrix triaxiality during forward and reversed loading provides an important contribution to the developement of the Bauschinger effect in the metal matrix composite. Therefore, even when the plastic flow of the matrix material follows on isotropic hardening behavior, the Bauschinger effect is predicted for the composite material.

New Robust $H_{\infty}$ Performance Condition for Uncertain Discrete-Time Systems

  • In this paper, we establish a new robust $H_{\infty}$ performance condition for uncertain discrete-time systems with convex polytopic uncertainties. We express the condition as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which are used to check stability and $H_{\infty}$ disturbance attenuation level by a parameter-dependent Lyapunov matrix. We show that the new condition provides less conservative result than the existing ones which use single Lyapunov matrix. We also show that the robust $H_{\infty}$ state feedback design problem for such uncertain discrete-time systems can be easily dealt with using the approach. The key point in this paper is to propose a kind of decoupling between the Lyapunov matrix and the system matrices in the parameter-dependent matrix inequality by introducing one new matrix variable.

Characterizations of Two-step Matrix Application Procedures for Imaging Mass Spectrometry

  • In this paper, I describe the importance of matrix spraying conditions in imaging mass spectrometry (IMS) to obtain successful imaging results. My developed matrix application methodology, which is a "two-step matrix application" sequentially combined with matrix sublimation and spraying matrix solution can provide high reproducibility and high ion yield compared with a conventional direct spraying method. However, insufficient IMS results were obtained occasionally despite the two-step method. Therefore, I wanted to characterize the methodology to continuously provide high quality data. According to my results, the sublimation time was not a strict parameter, and the most important step was the first spraying condition. This means that the extraction conditions from the tissue section and co-crystallization of the matrix were the most important factors.

  • The matrix inversion is very inefficient for computing direct solutions of the large spare systems of linear equations that arise in many network problems as a large electrical power system. Optimally ordered triangular factorization of sparse matrices is more efficient and offers the other important computational advantages in some applications with this method. The direct solutions are computed from sparse matrix factors instead of a full inverse matrix, thereby gaining a significant advantage is speed and computer memory requirements. In this paper, it is shown that the sparse matrix method is superior to the inverse matrix method to solve the linear equations of large sparse networks. In addition, it is shown that the sparse matrix method is superior to the inverse matrix method to solve the linear equations of large sparse networks. In addition, it is shown that the solutions may be applied directly to sove the load flow in an electrical power system. The result of this study should lead to many aplications including short circuit, transient stability, network reduction, reactive optimization and others.

GPU 기반 행렬 곱셈 병렬처리 알고리즘 (Parallel Algorithm for Matrix-Matrix Multiplication on the GPU)

  • Matrix multiplication is a fundamental mathematical operation that has numerous applications across most scientific fields. In this paper, we presents a parallel GPU computation algorithm for dense matrix-matrix multiplication using OpenGL compute shader, which can play a very important role as a fundamental building block for many high-performance computing applications. Experimental results on NVIDIA Quad 4000 show that the proposed algorithm runs about 208 times faster than previous CPU algorithm and achieves performance of 75 GFLOPS in single precision for dense matrices with matrix size 4,096. Such performance proves that our algorithm is practical for real applications.

  • The classes of Reverse Jacket matrix [RJ]$_{N}$ and the corresponding Restclass Reverse Jacket matrix ([RRJ]$_{N}$) are defined;the main property of [RJ]$_{N}$ is that the inverse matrices of them can be obtained very easily and have a special structure. [RJ]$_{N}$ is derived from the weighted hadamard Transform corresponding to hadamard matrix [H]$_{N}$ and a basic symmertric matrix D. the classes of [RJ]$_{2}$ can be used as a generalize Quincunx subsampling matrix and serveral polygonal subsampling matrices. In this paper, we will present in particular the systematical block-wise extending-method for {RJ]$_{N}$. We have deduced a new orthorgonal matrix $M_{1}$.mem.[RRJ]$_{N}$ from a nonorthogonal matrix $M_{O}$.mem.[RJ]$_{N}$. These matrices can be used to develop efficient algorithms in IMT2000 signal processing, multidimensional subsampling, spectrum analyzers, and signal screamblers, as well as in speech and image signal processing.gnal processing.g.

새로운 블록순환 Hadamard 행렬 (The New Block Circulant Hadamard Matrices)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 Toeplitz행렬(matrix)과 블록 순환(block circulant)행렬에 대해 검토하고, 새로운 순환 Hadamard 행렬을 제안했다. 제안한 순환 Hadamard 행렬은 +1과 -1로 구성되나 구조가 기존 Hadamard 행렬과는 다르다. 고속 알고리즘을 통해 원래의 계산량을 $Nlog_2N$개의 덧셈으로 줄일 수 있다. 이 행렬은 Massive MIMO 채널 추정 및 FIR 필터 설계, 신호처리 등에 응용이 가능하다.
