SDP Master 이중화를 지원하는 확장 SLDS 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of the Extended SLDS Supporting SDP Master Replication)

  • 최근 이동체의 위치 데이타를 활용한 위치 기반 서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 보다 효율적인 이동체 위치 데이타 관리 시스템으로 클러스터 기반 분산 컴퓨팅 구조인 GALIS(Gracefully Aging Location Information System)가 제시되었다. 그러나, GALIS의 서브 시스템인 SLDS(Short-term Location Data Subsystem)에서 SDP Master는 다수의 SDP(Short-term Data Processor) 노드들이 처리한 질의 결과를 취합하여 Client로 보내는 구조이기 때문에 SDP Master에 장애가 발생하거나 부하가 집중될 경우에 서비스가 중지되거나 Client로의 응답 시간이 길어지는 문제가 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 기존 SLDS에 이중화를 지원하기 위해 SDP Master를 추가하여 기존 SLDS의 안정성과 가용성을 높이고 이동체 위치 데이타의 질의 처리 성능을 향상시킨 확장 SLDS를 설계 및 구현하였다. 확장 SLDS에서는 이중화된 두 대의 SDP Master를 가동하여 한 SDP Master에 장애가 발생하더라도 다른 SDP Master가 서비스를 계속 제공함으로써 현재 위치 데이타의 실시간성과 시스템의 안정성을 보장한다. 또한, 확장 SLDS는 두 대의 SDP Master가 질의 처리를 분산하여 수행하기 때문에 Client로의 응답 시간을 줄일 수 있다. 마지막으로 확장 SLDS의 장애 테스트와 질의 처리 성능을 실험하였으며, 이러한 실험을 통해 확장 SLDS의 고신뢰성 및 고가용성을 검증하였다.

기모노슬리브 원형 개발 - 30대 표준체형을 중심으로 - (Development of a basic kimono sleeve - Focusing on the standard body type of Korean people in their thirties -)

  • Kimono sleeves have continuously appeared in modern fashion as a design motif and this trend has become increasingly prevalent recently. However for research in the area of clothing composition for kimono sleeves in Korea, there has been a lack of development of master patterns based on basic data from the analysis of the standard body type of Korean people and finalized designs based on comparative experiments and analysis of pre-existing research Thus, there is no ideal master kimono sleeve pattern development research based on the examination of the results of the analysis of the standard body type of Korean people. Therefore by recognizing the importance of developing a master kimono sleeve pattern, this research aims to present a practical master kimono sleeve pattern for the standard body type of someone in their 30s. First, the four master patterns were collected and a dressing evaluation was conducted, and by selecting and improving one of these master designs, a final research master pattern was developed after a second dressing evaluation. Through this research, it was possible to design a master kimono sleeve pattern appropriate both externally and functionally for the standard body type of someone in their 30s, which has not been a consideration in previous research.

아파트 드레스룸의 적정 수납장 크기에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Qptimum Size of Master Bedroom Walk-In Closet in Apartments)

  • Housing construction companies have been providing master bedroom walk-in closet as a selling point in modest sized apartments as small as 74m$^2$. It is noticeable that master bedroom walk-in closet in apartments provided by public sectors showed much variety in its size. This study tries to set up the guide line of master bedroom walk-in closet size. It is quite reasonable to assume that the biggest space-occupiers in walk-in closet are blankets and clothing. The survey conducted in this study shows that the number of clothes people keep in their closet does not show any significant difference regardless of square footage of their apartments. 34.7% of respondent answered they keep about 50-60 clothes using coat hangers, where 20-30 of those are winter clothes. It is calculated the required optimum length of the walk-in closet is 3.8m$^2$. Considering the most popular longitudinal dimension of master bedroom, 3.9m, and the space needed to accommodate blankets, it can be concluded that the required length of storage in master bedroom walk-in closet is 2.1m. The length can be adjusted reflecting the length of the master bedroom.

병원건축 마스터플랜의 제안 후 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Post Proposal Evaluation of Master Plan in Hospital Architecture)

  • Purpose: In recent years, since 2000 many hospitals have established a master plan. However, there are some hospitals proceeding in different way from the master plan while the process of execution plan. This is because the study of master plan has been incomplete yet and there is no feedback on the master plan. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find the reasons why differences are occurred. Methods: Comparison analysis of five hospitals which have established master plans and constructed with execution plans and Questionnaire to an architect of execution plan have been conducted. Results: This study has found three points. The first one is the change in scope of business and the change of administrator. The second one is that administrator and staff of hospital have more demands for improvement in functional area rather than public area, like lobby. The last one is to check a possibility of the solution by architectural analysis. Implications: It is necessary to determine the cause of changes from master plan and execution plan, in order to reduce the change in advance.

  • In the Urban Regeneration Project, the scale becomes huge and the composition of participating organizations is complex. It is necessary to establish the master plan fast and effectively harmonize conflict options and interests in the early stage of the project. However, the master planner, who is tasked to establish the master plan, and the master planning team, are difficult to establish the master plan fast while effectively considering various and complex information related to regeneration. The Urban Regeneration Project is composed of various types of computer files like HWP, EXL, PDF, DWG and others. When the master plan is established, it is necessary to link the information items and physical files of urban generation in order to effectively save the files in storage for easy search and utilization. This study developed a prototype system to support participating subjects of the Urban Regeneration Projects. It will effectively utilize the information items in the physical computer files using information blocks and Metadata. The developed system provides the base to effectively manage large amount of documents in the early stage of the Urban Regeneration Project and make effective decision-making using the concept of data warehouse.

  • 데이터베이스 복제(Replication)는 분산 데이터베이스 환경에서 신뢰성, 가용성, 과부하 방지 등을 위하여 이용되며, 마스터/슬레이브(Master/Slave), 멀티마스터(Multi-Master)와 같이 두 가지 모델이 존재한다. 멀티마스터 데이터베이스는 다중 데이터베이스에 삽입 및 갱신을 위한 동기화에 따른 복잡도 증가와 비용 증가와 같은 문제를 지닌다. 이러한 이유로 데이터의 삽입과 수정이 빈번히 일어나는 환경에는 마스터/슬레이브 모델을 이용한 데이터베이스 복제가 적합하다. 하지만 마스터/슬레이브 데이터베이스 역시 시스템에서 각 트랜잭션이 마스터로 접속해야 할지, 슬레이브로 접속해야 할지를 선택하기 위한 기준이 명확히 존재하지 않는 문제를 지닌다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 마스터/슬레이브 데이터베이스 모델에서 AOP(Aspect Oriented Programming) 기반의 데이터베이스 트랜잭션 라우팅 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 AOP에 기반하여 애플리케이션을 횡단 관심사로 분리하고 각 관심사들을 모듈화 하여 트랜잭션을 마스터 데이터베이스 및 슬레이브 데이터베이스로 라우팅한다. 이 논문은 시나리오 기반의 기능 통합 테스트를 통하여 제안 알고리즘의 안정성(Stability) 및 성능이 우수함을 평가한다.

CAVE 공간에서 Arm-Master를 이용한 가상냉장고 도어 개폐의 조작감 평가 (Evaluation of control feel in opening and closing the doors of a virtual refrigerator in the CAVE system with an Arm-Master)

  • 본 연구는 CAVE 시스템과 Arm-Master를 이용해 가상 제품의 프로토타이프를 평가할 때 효과가 있을지에 대한 실험적 검증을 하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이를 위해 CAVE 시스템 상에 가상의 냉장고를 포함한 가상 주방을 모델링하였다. 실험에는 6명의 남자, 6명의 여자 피실험자들이 참여했는데, 3가지 서로 다른 형태의 냉장고 도어 그립과 가상 냉장고 도어를 열고 닫기 위한 힘의 크기 2개에 의한 조합인 6가지 실험조건에 대해 물건을 냉장고에 넣고 꺼내는 작업을 수행하도록 했다. 각 실험이 끝나면 피실험자들은 도어 개폐의 용이성, 도어 조작시의 힘과 실제 힘과의 유사성, 전반적인 현실감에 대한 평가 설문에 응답하도록 했다. 실험 결과 평균치를 기준으로 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 아니나 수직형의 도어 그립이 개폐용이성 등에서 상대적으로 좋은 평가를 받았다. 또한 힘의 크기에 있어서 피실험자들은 5N을 15N에 비해 좋은 평가를 하였다. 그러나 예상 외로 성별 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났는데, 이는 여자들의 경우 Arm-Master를 조작하는 데 더 큰 어려움을 겪었기 때문으로 풀이된다. 앞으로도 기술적 측면에서 Arm-Master가 더욱 개선되어야만 디자인 평가 과정에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

이봉분포 마스터커브를 이용한 SA508 Gr. 3 원자로용기강의 파괴인성 평가 (Evaluation of Fracture Toughness for SA508 Gr. 3 Reactor Pressure Vessel Steel Using Bimodal Master Curve Approach)

  • The standard master curve (MC) approach has the major limitation because it is only applicable to homogeneous datasets. In nature, materials are macroscopically inhomogeneous and involve scatter of fracture toughness data due to various deterministic material inhomogeneity and random inhomogeneity. RPV(reactor pressure vessel) steel has different fracture toughness with varying distance from the inner surface of the wall due to cooling rate in manufacturing process; deterministic inhomogeneity. On the other hand, reference temperature, $T_0$, used in the evaluation of fracture toughness is acting as a random parameter in the evaluation of welding region; random inhomogeneity. In the present paper, four regions, the surface, 1/8T, 1/4T and 1/2T, were considered for fracture toughness specimens of KSNP (Korean Standard Nuclear Plant) SA508 Gr. 3 steel to investigate deterministic material inhomogeneity and random inhomogeneity. Fracture toughness tests were carried out for four regions and three test temperatures in the transition region. Fracture toughness evaluation was performed using the bimodal master curve (BMC) approach which is applicable to the inhomogeneous material. The results of the bimodal master curve analyses were compared with that of conventional master curve analyses. As a result, the bimodal master approach considering inhomogeneous materials provides better description of scatter in fracture toughness data than conventional master curve analysis. However, the difference in the $T_0$ determined by two master curve approaches was insignificant.

근단부 크기에 따른 customized master cone의 치근단 밀폐효과에 관한 연구 (EFFECTIVENESS OF CUSTOMIZED MASTER CONE ON APICAL SEALING IN VARIOUS APICAL SIZE OF PREPARED ROOT CANALS)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of customized master cone on apical sealing in various apical size of prepared root canals, that is MAF(Master Apical File) and to know at which apical size the apical leakage is to be significantly reduced using customized master cone. 120 extracted single rooted premolars were divided into four groups according to their apical size(MAF), #30, 40, 50 and 60. And then, each group was subdivided into three in accordance with three obturation methods, lateral condensation with standardized master cone, lateral condensation with chloroform-dipped customized master cone, and continuous wave of obturation technique. Resorcinol-formaldehyde resin was used for the microleakage test of this study. Teeth were sectioned horizontally at 1.5mm(Level 1), 2.5mm(Level 2), and 3.5mm(Level 3) from the anatomical root apex using low speed microtome. All sections were examined under $\times$40 magnification with a stereomicroscope, photographed, and then scanned. With the scanned images, resin-infiltrated area presenting the microleakage was calculated using SigmaScan/Image, and the ratio of leakage to the total root canal area of each group was analyzed statistically(one way ANOVA). The results were as follows ; 1. In groups of MAF #30, there was no significant difference of mean leakage ratio among three obturation methods at all three levels. 2. In groups of MAF #40, the group using lateral condensation with customized master cone had the low-est mean leakage ratio at all three levels, but there was no significant difference among three obturation techniques. 3. In groups of MAF #50, the mean leakage ratio of the group using lateral condensation with standard master cone was the highest among those of three obturation techniques at level 1, and this difference was statistically significant(p<0.05). 4 In groups of MAF #60, the groups using lateral condensation with standard master cone had also the highest mean leakage ratio at all levels, but there was no significant difference at level 1 and 2. At level 3, the leakage of the group using lateral condensation with standard master cone was significantly higher than that of the group using continuous wave of obturation(p<0.05). The results of this study suggested that the obturation method using customized master cone or the continuous wave of obturation is more effective for apical sealing than that using standardized master cone when MAF is larger than #50.
