FHD급 DIC 플랫폼의 변위계측용 영상품질 분석 (Analysis of DIC Platform and Image Quality with FHD for Displacement Measurement)

  • 건축 구조물의 상대적인 변위 계측을 위하여 2메가 픽셀 Full HD(FHD) 해상도의 카메라와 디지털 영상상관(DIC, Digital Image Correlation) 플랫폼을 설계하고, 계측에 영향을 주는 영상 품질을 분석하였다. DIC 플랫폼은 Freescale사의 I.MX6를 기반으로 설계하였다. 영상 상관을 이용한 계측은 영상의 품질에 따라 계측 정밀도에 영향을 줄 수 있는데, 이러한 영상 품질 요인으로 영상의 밝기(brightness), 대조(contrast), 신호대 잡음비(SNR, Signal to Noise Ratio)를 분석하였다. 관심 영역(ROI, Region Of Interest)으로 설정한 부분에서 추출한 영상을 기준 영상으로 삼고, 일정 시간 경과 후 디지털 영상 상관(DIC)을 이용하여 기준 영상의 이동을 화소 및 부화소 단위로 추적 계산하여 변위를 측정하였다. 더불어 DIC 기반의 비접촉 원격 계측의 유효성을 파악하기 위하여 25m, 35m, 50m의 계측 거리에서, 영상 품질 요인 및 ROI 의 크기를 조정하여 측정을 하고 정밀도를 분석하였다.

FMCW 신호를 활용한 비선형 합성개구레이다 (Nonlinear Synthetic Aperture Radar using FMCW signal)

  • 본 논문은 FMCW(frequency modulation continuous wave)기반의 비선형 레이다 플랫폼을 활용한 합성개구레이다를 제안하였다. 송·수신 주파수가 다른 비선형 레이다 시스템 플랫폼을 구성하고 FMCW신호를 활용하였으며, 플랫폼은 1.5 m 길이의 경로를 이동하면서 2차 고조파를 취득하여 비선형 합성개구레이다를 구현하였다. 선형 물체가 다수 존재하는 실내 다중 경로 환경에서 다수의 비선형 표적을 배치하여 미약한 2차 고조파를 탐지하여 합성개구레이다 영상화 과정을 거친 후, 2차원 해밍 윈도우를 통해서 이미징 성능을 향상시켰다.

Facile and Rapid Glycosylation Monitoring of Therapeutic Antibodies Through Intact Protein Analysis

  • The therapeutic antibody drug market has experienced explosive growth as mAbs become the main therapeutic modality for a variety of diseases. Characterization of glycosylation that directly affects the efficacy and safety of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) is critical for therapeutics development, bioprocess system optimization, lot release, and comparability evaluation. The LC/MS approach has been widely used to structurally characterize mAbs, and recently attempts have been made to obtain comprehensive information on the primary structure and post-translational modifications (PTMs) of mAbs through intact protein analysis. In this study, we performed state-of-the-art LC/MS based intact protein analysis to readily identify and characterize glycoforms of various mAbs. Different glycoforms of mAbs produced in different expression cell lines including CHO, SP2/0 and HEK cells were monitored and compared. In addition, the comparability of protein molecular weight, glycoform pattern, and relative abundances of glycoforms between the commercialized trastuzumab biosimilar and the original product was determined in detail using the given platform. Intact mAb analysis allowed us to gain insight into the overall mAb structure, including the complexity and diversity of glycosylation. Furthermore, our analytical platform with high reproducibility is expected to be widely used for biopharmaceutical characterization required at all stages of drug development and manufacturing.

Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Communications in Vehicular Networks

  • To address the need for autonomous control of remote and distributed mobile systems, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications are rapidly gaining attention from both academia and industry. M2M communications have recently been deployed in smart grid, home networking, health care, and vehicular networking environments. This paper focuses on M2M communications in the vehicular networking context and investigates areas where M2M principles can improve vehicular networking. Since connected vehicles are essentially a network of machines that are communicating, preferably autonomously, vehicular networks can benefit a lot from M2M communications support. The M2M paradigm enhances vehicular networking by supporting large-scale deployment of devices, cross-platform networking, autonomous monitoring and control, visualization of the system and measurements, and security. We also present some of the challenges that still need to be addressed to fully enable M2M support in the vehicular networking environment. Of these, component standardization and data security management are considered to be the most significant challenges.

몽골의 심부 지열에너지 자원과 지열발전에 관한 연구 (A Study on Deep Geothermal Energy and Potential of Geothermal Power Generation in Mongolia)

  • Mongolia has three(3) geothermal zones and eight(8) hydrogeothermal systems/regions that are, fold-fault platform/uplift zone, concave-largest subsidence zone, and mixed intermediate-transitional zone. Average temperature, heat flow, and geothermal gradient of hot springs in Arhangai located to fold-fault platform/uplift zone are $55.8^{\circ}C$, 60~110 mW/m2 and $35{\sim}50^{\circ}C/km$ respectively and those of Khentii situated in same zone are $80.5^{\circ}C$, 40~50 mW/m2, and $35{\sim}50^{\circ}C/km$ separately. Temperature of hydrothermal water at depth of 3,000 m is expected to be about $173{\sim}213^{\circ}C$ based on average geothermal gradient of $35{\sim}50^{\circ}C/km$. Among eight systems, Arhangai and Khentii located in A type hydrothermal system, Khovsgol in B type, Mongol Altai plateau in C type, and Over Arhangai in D type are the most feasible areas to develop geothermal power generation by Enhanced Geothermal System (EGS). Potential electric power generation by EGS is estimated about 2,760 kW at Tsenher, 1,752 kW at Tsagaan Sum, 2,928 kW at Khujir, 2,190 kW at Baga Shargaljuut, and 7,125 kW at Shargaljuut.

  • This paper contains the optimized M2M technology, and the information of production resource of 4M, which understanding the roles and functions of M2M Device, and the explanation of its effectiveness, and the information of optimized M2M Device in IT convergence point of view. In addition, this content also points out the optimized M2M Device, analyzes and collects various type of management information which emphasizes the need for a common platform's were Middleware, and Auto-Configuration, WebLine Monitoring, WebService through the functionality of an integrated management information supports the productions by digitizing the information with standardized data for management efficiency.

협업가능 표준기반 IoT 시스템을 위한 자가적응 IoT 소프트웨어 플랫폼 개발 (Self-adaptive IoT Software Platform for Interoperable Standard-based IoT Systems)

  • In this paper, we present a self-adaptive software platform that enables an IoT gateway to perform autonomous operation considering IoT devices connected each other in resource-constrained environments. Based on the oneM2M device software platform publicly available, we have designed an additional part, called SAS (self-adaptive software) consisting of MAM (memory-aware module), NAM (network-aware module), BAM (battery-aware module), DAM (data-aware module), and DH (decision handler). A prototype system is implemented to show the feasibility of the proposed self-adaptive software architecture. Our proposed system demonstrates that it can adaptively adjust the operation of gateway and connected devices to their resource conditions under the desired service scenarios.

하이브리드 센싱 기반 다중참여형 가상현실 이동 플랫폼 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Multi-User Virtual Reality Moving Platform Based on Hybrid Sensing)

  • Recently, high-performance HMDs (Head-Mounted Display) are becoming wireless due to the growth of virtual reality technology. Accordingly, environmental constraints on the hardware usage are reduced, enabling multiple users to experience virtual reality within a single space simultaneously. Existing multi-user virtual reality platforms use the user's location tracking and motion sensing technology based on vision sensors and active markers. However, there is a decrease in immersion due to the problem of overlapping markers or frequent matching errors due to the reflected light. Goal of this study is to develop a multi-user virtual reality moving platform in a single space that can resolve sensing errors and user immersion decrease. In order to achieve this goal hybrid sensing technology was developed, which is the convergence of vision sensor technology for position tracking, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor motion capture technology and gesture recognition technology based on smart gloves. In addition, integrated safety operation system was developed which does not decrease the immersion but ensures the safety of the users and supports multimodal feedback. A 6 m×6 m×2.4 m test bed was configured to verify the effectiveness of the multi-user virtual reality moving platform for four users.

대면적 플랫폼을 갖는 Probe-based Storage Device(PSD)용 정전형 2축 MEMS 스테이지 (Electrostatic 2-axis MEMS Stage with a Large Area Platform for Probe-based Storage Devices)

  • Recently the electrostatic 2-axis MEMS stages have been fabricated f3r the purpose of an application to PSD (Probe-based Storage Device). However, all of the components (platform, comb electrodes, springs, anchors, etc.) in those stages are placed in-plane so that they have low areal efficiencies such as a few percentage, which is undesirable as data storage devices. In this paper, we present a novel structure of an electrostatic 2-axis MEMS stage that is characterized by having a large areal efficiency of about 25%. For obtaining large area efficiency, the actuator part consisting of mainly comb electrodes and springs is placed right below the platform. The structure and operational principle of the MEMS stage are described, followed by a design and analysis, the fabrication and measurement results. Experimental results show that the driving ranges of the fabricated stage along the x and y axis were 27$\mu$m, 38$\mu$m at the supplied voltages of 65V, 70V, respectively and the natural frequencies along x and y axis were 180Hz, 310Hz, respectively. The total size of the stage is about 5.9$\times$6.8mm$^2$ and the platform size is about 2.7$\times$3.6mm$^2$.

대보-구룡포-감포 지역의 해안단구(II) (Marine Terrace of Daebo-Guryongpo-Gampo, SE Korea(II))

  • 우리나라 남동해안의 대보-감포간 해안단구는 6개의 단구면으로 분류되며 이들은 각각 하위로부터 1단구(T1,0.5m), 2단구(T2, 10m), 3단구(T3, 30m), 4단구(T4, 40m), 5단구(T5, 60m), 6단구(T6, 75m)이다. 이가운데 3단구(T3)는 두개의 단구로 분류되며, 하위면을 T3b, 상위면을 T3a 정하였다. 3단구 하위면 (T3b)의 구정선을 보여주는 해식애의 발달이 뚜렷하지 않아 단구 세분이 어려운 곳은 통합하여 3단구(T3)로 정하였다. 단구형성시기를 직접적으로 지시해주는 화석은 없으나, 2단구의 퇴적층에서 OSL 연대 자료가 다량 도출되어 있으며, 이 자료를 통하여 단구 형성시기를 정할 수 있다. 2단구(T2) 퇴적층의 OSL 연대는 60-7Oka에 수렴하고 있어, 2단구의 형성시기는 MIS(산소동위원소에 의한 시대 분류)의 5a로. 추정할 수 있다. 따라서 3단구는 MIS 5e, 4단구는 MIS 7에 대비된다. 본 연구지역에서 MIS 5e인 3단구 상위면(T3a)은 현해수면으로부터 30m높게 융기되어 있으며, 따라서 이지역의 융기율은 약 0.19m/ka로 계산된다. 이와 같은 융기율은 국지적인 지구조운동에 기인한 것으로 해석되며, 이에 대한 추가 연구가 필요하다.
