In this paper, we establish general stratawise higher jet evaluation transversality of J-holomorphic curves for a generic choice of almost complex structures J (tame to a given symplectic manifold (M, $\omega$)). Using this transversality result, we prove that there exists a subset $\cal{J}^{ram}_{\omega}\;{\subset}\;\cal{J}_{\omega}$ of second category such that for every $J\;{\in}\;\cal{J}^{ram}_{\omega}$, the dimension of the moduli space of (somewhere injective) J-holomorphic curves with a given ramication prole goes down by 2n or 2(n - 1) depending on whether the ramication degree goes up by one or a new ramication point is created. We also derive that for each $J\;{\in}\;\cal{J}^{ram}_{\omega}$ there are only a finite number of ramication profiles of J-holomorphic curves in a given homology class $\beta\;{\in}\;H_2$(M; $\mathbb{Z}$) and provide an explicit upper bound on the number of ramication proles in terms of $c_1(\beta)$ and the genus g of the domain surface.

The dynamic design analysis method (DDAM) to analyze and evaluate shock response of the equipment system mounted in ships are discussed. Theoretical background of the DDAM based on the general shock response analysis was introduced. Spectrum dip effect between the equipment system and supporting structure was specially focused being peculiar to general shock response analysis. Actual shock design values used in the DDAM were reviewed in their category, general trend and establishing process. Aspects of DDAM analysis using MSC/NASTRAN were shortened. As a conclusion DDAM is regarded as a reasonable way of analysis for the onboard equipment system due to the underwater shock.

In this paper, the ring A will mean a commutative Noetherian ring with non-zero multiplicative identity, it is understood that the ring homomorphisms respect identity elements and M will denote an A-module. Throughout this paper A and B will denote rings, $f : A \to B$ a ring homomorphism. C(A) (resp. C(B)) presents the category of all A-modules (resp. B-modules) and A-homomorphisms (resp. B-homorphisms) between them. The following ideas will be used without further explanation. B can be regarded as an A-module by means of f and $M\otimesB$ can be regarded as a B-module in the natural way. Furthermore the restriction of scalars provides a functor from C(B) to C(A).

The tributyltin (TBT)-resistant bacterium, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 25W, which was isolated in seawater from the Arabian Sea, was subjected to transcriptome analysis in the presence of high concentrations of TBT. Only slight effects were observed at TBT concentration of $50{\mu}M$, but exposure to $500{\mu}M$ resulted in the upregulation of 6 genes and the downregulation of 75. Among the 75 downregulated genes, 53% (40 out of 75) were of hypothetical function, followed by 14 transcriptional regulation- and translation-associated genes. The results of this study indicated that although the 25W strain was highly resistant to TBT, high concentrations of TBT result in toxic effect on the transcriptional and translational levels. The target genes likely belong to a specific category of transcription- and translation-associated genes rather than to other gene categories.

We prove that a Banach space that is convex-transitive and such that for some element u in the unit sphere, and for every subspace Μ containing u, it happens that the subset of norm attaining functionals on Μ is second Baire category in $M^{*}$ is, in fact, almost-transitive and superreflexive. We also obtain a characterization of finite-dimensional spaces in terms of functions that attain their supremum: a Banach space is finite-dimensional if, for every equivalent norm, every rank-one operator attains its numerical radius. Finally, we describe the subset of norm attaining functionals on a space isomorphic to $\ell$$_1$, where the norm is the restriction of a Luxembourg norm on $L_1$. In fact, the subset of norm attaining functionals for this norm coincides with the subset of norm attaining functionals for the usual norm.m.

Let 𝓜 be a stable Serre subcategory of the category of R-modules. We introduce the concept of 𝓜-minimax R-modules and investigate the local-global principle for generalized local cohomology modules that concerns to the 𝓜-minimaxness. We also provide the 𝓜-finiteness dimension f^𝓜_I (M, N) of M, N relative to I which is an extension the finiteness dimension f_I (N) of a finitely generated R-module N relative to I.

The objective of this paper is to examine the country of origin effect of products made in the Republic of Korea. The study focuses on the questions of the sources of information in evaluating products; the evaluation of specific product dimensions by Malaysian consumers; and consumers' assessment of different product categories. It reports on the findings of a survey conducted in which 244 responses were obtained. The most common product information source was found to be through advertisements in television and radio.. Products made in Korea had been rated highly for its product style. Consumer electronics were generally found to be the popular preference of product category by Malaysian consumers. The managerial implications of our study are discussed and the limitations of the study are also examined.

본 연구는 경북 영양군 포도산(해발 748m, 북위 $36^{\circ}$ $31^{\prime}$ $79.1^{\prime\prime}$$\sim$$36^{\circ}$ $30^{\prime}$ $16.8^{\prime\prime}$, 동경 $129^{\circ}$ $12^{\prime}$ $43.8^{\prime\prime}$$\sim$$129^{\circ}$ $14^{\prime}$ $07.1^{\prime\prime}$)의 관속식물 분포와 유용성을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2007년 5월부터 2007년 9월까지 총 5회에 걸쳐 채집된 관속식물은 총 88과 267속 384종 4아종 43변종 6품종의 437종류로 정리되었으며, 이들을 유용성에 따라 구분하면 식용 211종류, 약용 229종류, 공업용 85종류, 관상용 71종류, 용도가 밝혀지지 않은 식물 105종 류이었다. 특기할 만한 식물로는 한국특산식물이 9종류, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 III등급 13종류, IV등급 4종류, 귀화식물이 17종류로서 귀화율은 3.9%, 도시화지수는 6.3%로 나타났다.

본 연구는 경북 문경시 공덕산(해발 913m, 북위 $36^{\circ}$ $46^{\prime}$ $37.5^{\prime\prime}$${\sim}$$36^{\circ}$ $43^{\prime}$ $61.0^{\prime\prime}$, 동경 $128^{\circ}$ $15^{\prime}$ $00.3^{\prime\prime}$$\sim$$128^{\circ}$ $17^{\prime}$ $57.9^{\prime\prime}$)의 관속식물 분포와 유용성을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2007년 5월부터 2007년 9월까지 총 5회에 걸쳐 채집된 관속식물은 총 86과 279속 374종 4아종 44변종 7품종의 총 429종류로 정리되었으며, 이들을 유용성에 따라 구분하면 식용 233종류, 약용 297종류, 공업용 113종류, 관상용 111종류, 용도가 밝혀지지 않은 식물 43종이었다. 특기할 만한 식물로는 한국특산식물이 5종류, 환경부지정 법적 보호식물이 1종류, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 III등급 5종류, IV등급 1종류, V등급 1종류, 귀화식물이 15종류로서 귀화율은 3.5%, 도시화지수는 5.5%로 나타났다.

Let ($M, G_M, F$) be a (p+q)-dimensional Riemannian manifold with a foliation F of codimension q and a bundle-like metric $g_M$ with respect to F ([9]). Aside from the Laplacian $\bigtriangleup_g$ associated to the metric g, there is another differnetial operator, the Jacobi operator $J_D$, which is a second order elliptic operator acting on sections of the normal bundle. Its spectrum isdiscrete as a consequence of the compactness of M. The study of the spectrum of $\bigtriangleup_g$ acting on functions or forms has attracted a lot of attention. In this point of view, the present authors [7] have studied the spectrum of the Laplacian and the curvature of a compact orientable cosymplectic manifold. On the other hand, S. Nishikawa, Ph. Tondeur and L. Vanhecke [6] studied the spectral geometry for Riemannian foliations. The purpose of the present paper is to study the relation between two spectra and the transversal geometry of cosymplectic foliations. We shall be in $C^\infty$-category. Manifolds are assumed to be connected.
