The effect of Thuja biotae water extract on lipid composition, blood glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride and lipid hydroperoxide was studied in rabbits. In the animalfed Thuja biotae water extract $1m{\ell}/kg\;or\;2m{\ell}/kg$, blood glucose, cholesterol, triglyceride and lipid hydroperoxide was lower values than the control group. The lipid composition of plasma was not great differencies, but palmitic acid $C_{16:0}$ was very elevated with higher than 50%, n-3/n-6 ratio was higher than 0.3 and p/s ratio was higher than 4.0. It was concluded that Thuja biotae water extract may be one of the blood glucose, cholesterol and triglyceride level lowering factor.

Many developers utilize specific APIs to develop software, and to identify the use of a particular API, a developer can refer to a website that provides the API or can retrieve the API from the web. However, the site that provides the API does not necessarily provide guidance on how to use it while it can be partially provided in many other cases. In this paper, we propose a novel system JACE (Java AST collocation-pattern extractor) as a method to reuse commonly-used code as a supplement. The JACE extracts the API call nodes, collocation patterns and analyzes the relations between the collocations to extract significant API patterns from the source code. The following experiment was performed to verify the accuracy of a defined pattern: 794 open source projects were analyzed to extract about 15M API call nodes. Then, the Eclipse plug-in test program was utilized to retrieve the pattern using the top 10 classes of API call nodes. Finally, the code search results from reference pages of the API classes and the Searchcode [1] were compared with the test program results.

This study was carried out to select fungicides which are effective for the control of anthracnose disease of Carthamus tintorious L. caused by Cottetotrichum acutatum. Eive chemicals, i.e., thiophanate-methyl$.$triflumizole, iminoctadinetris$.$thiram, metiram, bitertanol$.$propineb, metalaxyl$.$dithianon were treated to Cheongiu native variety for the test of control effect. The results obtained were summarized as the follows; No. of harvested plants per ㎡ was most in iminoctadinetris$.$thiram and its value showed 21.2 compared with 16.8 in control. Iminoctadinetris$.$thiram and metiram were most effective to control the disease and their contyol values were 57.2%, and 49.4%, respectively. Chemical injury of five chemicals was not occurred at the double-diluted solution treatment. Seed yield was 47∼48% higher in iminoctadinetris$.$thiram and metiram than 75 kg/10 a in control.

정방정형 지르코니아를 상온에서 안정화시키는 이트리아와, 지르코니아의 저온 열화을 억제하고 파괴강도의 증가에 기여하는 알루미나를 YAG(5Al$_2$O$_3$.3Y$_2$O$_3$) 졸의 형태로 m-ZrO$_2$와 알루미나의 혼합 slurry에 첨가하여, m-ZrO$_2$를 yttria 안정화 지르코니아로의 in situ 변환과 동시에 알루미나의 분산도를 향상시키고자 하였다. 20wt% 알루미나-지르코니아(YSZ)의 복합체 (20ATZ)를 1450$^{\circ}$~150$0^{\circ}C$에서 상압소결하여 0.5$mu extrm{m}$ 이하의 균일한 미세구조로 얻었다. 이 복합체는 정방정형 지르코니아와 $\alpha$-알루미나 상으로만 이루어지었고, 소결밀도 >99% TD이었다. 제조된 복합체의 파괴강도는 810 MPa로, 고상법으로 $Al_2$O$_3$와 3Y-ZrO$_2$분말로부터 제조된 시편의 682 MPa 보다 약 20% 향상되었고, 파괴인성은 5.52 MPa.m$^{1}$2/로 고상법으로 제조된 시편의 5.39 MPa.m$^{1}$2/과 비슷하였다.

제2차 세계대전중 "폰 라빈스타인" 장군이 말한대로, 사막은 전술가에게는 천국이지만, 병참장교에게는 악몽과 같다는 명구가 사막전투의 어려움을 그대로 일러주고 있다. 사막은 높은 열과 습도로 인해 장병들의 작전효율을 크게 감소시키며, 특히 이번 걸프전의 경우 먼지와 모래바람은 첨단장비의 한계를 인식시켜주고 있다. AH-64 "아파치" 헬기는 매일 엔진을 세척하고 있으며, M1A1 "에이브람스" 전차는 가스터어빈 엔진의 에어필터를 이틀에 한번씩 교체하고 있다. 또한 무전기등이 고온에서의 장시간 사용으로 빈번하게 고장이 발생하며, 높은 온도는 "패트리어트" 제어장치의 공기정화장비에 과동력을 공급하여 오동작이 일어나기도 하였다

The Immunosensor based on antigen-antibody binding have been developed for detecting several analytes including antigen, small molecules, and cell. This method can be rapid and show very good detection limits. In this paper, the tree coding using the (M, L) multi-path search algorithm has teen investigated. A hybrid adaptation scheme which employs a block adaptation as well as a sequential dadptation is described for application in quantization and compression of speech signals. Simulation results with the gybrid adaptation scheme indicate that a relatively good speech quality can be obtained at rate about 8Kbps. All necessary parameters such as MlL and filter-order were found from simulation and these parameters turned out to be a good compromise between the complexity and overall performance.

This paper presents a design of 3D Graphics Geometry processor. A geometry processor needs to cope with a large amount of computation and consists of transformation processor and lighting processor. To deal with the huge computation, a vector processing structure based on pipeline chaining is proposed. The proposed geometry processor performs 4.3M vertices/sec at 100MHz using 11 floating-point units.

최근 센서를 이용한 의료 분야로의 유비쿼터스 시스템 및 서비스 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 의료 분야 서비스의 기본적 전제인 WBAN 환경에서의 기존의 모니터링 시스템은 매우 수동적이다. 이를 개선해 스트림 데이터에 대해 보다 효율적인 모니터링 시스템을 구축하기 위한, 우선 순위를 표현하기 위한 큐(Queue)와 각 속성에 대한 질의로 구성된 레벨 트리(Level Tree)로 이어지는 질의 색인 구조에 대해 논하고자 한다.
