The practical applications of ordinary high-fluidity concrete have been limited due to several drawbacks, such as high hydration heat, high amount of shrinkage, and non-economic strength development. On the other hand, due to its advantages, such as improvement of construction quality, reduction of construction cost and period, the development of high-fluidity concrete is a pressing need. This study examined the properties of high-fluidity concrete, which can be manufactured on the low binders using a viscosity agent to prevent the segregation of materials. The optimal viscosity agent was selected by an evaluation of the mechanical properties of high-fluidity concrete among six viscosity agents. The acrylic type and urethane type viscosity agents showed the best performance within the range where no material separation occurred. The mechanical properties were evaluated to examine the optimal amount of AC and UT viscosity agent added by mixing two viscosity agents according to the adding ratio and blending them together with high performance water reducing agent. When the ratio of the AC : UT viscosity agents was 5:5, it was most suited for high-fluidity concrete with low binders by increasing the workability and effect of the reducing viscosity.
Purpose: Research and development of high-strength concrete enables high-rise buildings and reduces the self-weight of the structure by reducing the cross-section, thereby reducing the thickness of beams and slabs to build more floors. A large effective space can be secured and the amount of reinforcement and concrete used to designate the base surface can be reduced. Method: In terms of field construction and quality, the effect of reducing the occurrence of drying shrinkage can be confirmed by studying the combination of low water bonding ratio and minimizing bleeding on the concrete surface. Result: The ease of site construction was confirmed due to the high self-charging property due to the increased fluidity by using high-performance water reducing agents, and the advantage of shortening the time to remove the formwork by expressing the early strength of concrete was confirmed. These experimental results show that the field application of ultra-high-strength concrete with a design standard strength of 100 MPa or higher can be expanded in high-rise buildings. Through this study, we experimented and evaluated whether ultra-high-strength concrete with a strength of 130 MPa or higher, considering the applicability of high-rise buildings with more than 120 floors in Korea, could be applied in the field. Conclusion: This study found the optimal mixing ratio studied by various methods of indoor basic experiments to confirm the applicability of ultra-high strength, produced 130MPa ultra-high strength concrete at a ready-mixed concrete factory similar to the real size, and tested the applicability of concrete to the fluidity and strength expression and hydration heat.
This is to show some basic data for introducing both circulated aggregate and recycled powder producing waste concrete. Standard-mixing design for 24MPa has been basically used and added and replaced normal aggregate with recycled powder made of waste concrete. In addition, polycarboxylate high-range water reducing agent has been used because recycled powder is missing adhesive strength and it is not compare with cement's adhesive strength. Compressive strength with powder mixture of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% has been decreased down to 80% of normal concrete material strength without recycled powder mixture. $200^{\circ}C$, $400^{\circ}C$ and $600^{\circ}C$ heated concrete were compressively tested in order to find out concrete strength resistant to high temperature. heat capacity was also tested, based on the expectancy of its low conductivity. In addition, thermal conduction test was tested in order to find out concrete insulation. According to this test, when concrete was tested by fire resistance, it using the circulation aggregate was same resulted by concrete using the natural aggregate. also, recycle powder was not effecting insulation performance. but it is fit to standard on concrete insulation of building law.

The studies were carried out to process one cycle for a day to the large section tunnel lining concrete. Climatic characteristics of the tunnel inside are changed, when the temperature of the concrete placement is low, the mold remove time is increased that the heat of hydration speed be delayed because affects the strength development, to compensate for this, after installing the curing sheet on both sides of the steel form and installation of tunnel entrance, when it comes to providing the additional heat source of $28{\pm}2^{\circ}C$ therein, it was to be achieved early strength development control standards (4.5MPa) presented as a crack control scheme or more, thus, It was able to remove after age of 14hr from mold. On the other hand, under the conditions of $10{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ that a natural curing temperature in the tunnel, it was analyzed must ensure the curing time of 36hr or more after concrete placement. Throughout this study, the concrete strength development and the temperature in the early-age concrete, it can find that reverify the curing temperature is greatly affected, even concrete fly ash is mixed 10%, if it is possible to raise the surface temperature for a predetermined time, is not a problem in the early strength development.
To secure the thermal crack resistance of mass concrete, researches and the field applications of low heat portland cement (LPC), ternary blended cement (TBC) which is produced by blending ordinary portland cement with blast furnace slag and fly ash, and early strength low heat blended cement (EBC) increased in recent years. Although the model for adiabatic temperature rise is necessary for estimating the risk of thermal cracking of concrete structures, sufficient data have not been accumulated for these mixtures. In addition, the differences in adiabatic test results have been reported for the volume of test specimens. Therefore, the present study evaluated the characteristics of adiabatic temperature rise based on the type of binder and the volume of the adiabatic test specimen. Test results indicated that the maximum temperature rise ($Q_{\infty}$) and the reaction factor (r) of TBC were the lowest. Test results also showed that $Q_{\infty}$ and r changed with respect to the volume of test specimen. $Q_{\infty}$ and r obtained from 6l equipment were lower than those of 50l equipment. Therefore, corrections with respect to this phenomenon was confirmed and the corrections factors are presented.

Recently, high strength, flowability, and durability of concrete were required according to increase of large scale and high rise structure. However, cracks occurred easily on the high performance concrete. In this reason, using expansion agent for reducing shrinkage cracks were increased, but it did not consider on durability of high performance concrete. Accordingly, this study1 investigated the resistance of shrinkage and damage form salt by mixing CSA expansion agent on the blast-furnace slag cement and mixed cement for the low heat of hydration by three components. The cases that 8% of expansion agent was mixed and the proportion was OPC were expanded till 43.7 times compared with control concrete. For the resistance to the damage of salt, it was improved when mixing ratio was incresed and the maximum size of coarse aggregate growed bigger. In this study, the resistance to the damage of salt of the cases that 8% of expansion agent was mixed was improved about 16% compared with control concrete.

Slags are by-products of the metallurgical industry. The most important slag from the standpoint of the quantity used as building material is iron blastfurnace slag. Slags are either crystalline stable solid used as aggregates or glassy material used as hydraulic binder. Slag cements are low heat of hydration cements. Slags react more slowly with than portland cement but they can be activated chemically. Activatiors can be either alkaline activators such as soda, lime, sodium carbonate, sodium silicate or sulphate activators such as calcium sulphate or phosphogypsum. So, in this study slaked lime was used as an activator that the compressive strength of this modified cement(M1 type) is high range in early age. And initial setting time of M1 type cement was shorter than conventional cements.

The waste glasses among plenty of wastes put out lately is limited in recycling and reusing, and the phenomenon hasn't been improved quite much. And besides, the recycling rate shows the 70.1%, relatively low. These waste glasses is currently used for road pavement materials, interior and exterior decorating materials in architecture, road painting meterials, auxiliary lagging materials for heat-retaining, coldness-retaining and soundproofing, and glass bottles. 30% of waste glasses powder is, however, not reused pratically. Therefore, in this research, we operated some tests including flow of mortar mixed with waste glasses powder, setting time, rheology and compressive strength to utilize waste glasses powder put out in the precess of recycling for admixture for repair mortar. As a result, we've found out that we can utilize waste glasses powder for admixture for repair mortar.

The main disadvantage of rapid setting concrete is the occurrence of cracking because of fast hydration reaction due to high thermal expansion and shrinkage. However, if the fly ash is used in concrete, it is possible to prevent cracking since the hydration heat can be decreased. Although Very-Early Strength-Latex Modified Concrete(VES-LMC) is an excellent material, occurrence of cracking has been reported because of high hydration heat. In the present study, new method which can apply the fly ash to the VES-LMC was developed. Research for the new method to improve the safety for the cracking was conducted. Safety was confirmed by reducing the shrinkage and hydration heat in the condition of overcoming the low early-age strength. Detailed conclusions are follows. Early-age compressive strength was decreased a little with increase of UFFA content. However, 28-d compressive strength was statistically insignificant regardless of UFFA contents. If the UFFA is replaced 15% to 20% of unit cement weight in concrete, maximum shrinkage can be reduced up to 43% to 47%. Usage of UFFA in VES-LMC guarantees the safety for cracking since it is very effective to control of early-age shrinkage.
This paper presents a detailed experimental study on the sulfate resistance of specimens made with portland cement exposed to sulfate attack. The mortar specimens were immersed in a 5% sodium sulfate solution for 360 days and regularly monitored for visual damage, compressive strength loss and expansion. In addition, at the end of 360 days, the products of sulfate attack and the mechanism of attack were investigated through X-ray diffraction, TG&DSC and scanning electron microscopy. The test results indicated that the sulfate deterioration data was ordinary portland cement > sulfate resistance portland cement > low heat portland cement. The microstructural studies indicated that the main reaction product of deterioration of the mortar specimens was the formation of ettringite, gypsum and thaumasite due to sulfate attack. For portland cement matrices, a low heat cement matrix containing the lowest C3A and silicate ratio (C/S) was beneficient against the sulfate attack.
