Precise scientific-diagnosis for preserving stone cultural properties has been well-advanced, but research on proper methods for conservation, restoration and repair is still in early stage. Accordingly it is quite difficult to establish conservation treatment methods compatible to unique characteristics and environments of each cultural property. We tried to select most compatible conservation materials through thorough assessment of conservation materials in current use. This research is focused on conservation and restoration materials except cleaner, which are used as adhesive, filler, repellent and consolidant. Conservation treatments for stone cultural properties were first tested in 1960's and have been carried out by various methods under relevant organizations and conservation treatment companies since. We investigated present status of conservation materials being used for cultural properties. Based on these data, we will look through types and properties of the conservation materials to figure out existing problems. Among many kinds of resins, the ratio of conservation materials used in cultural properties is very low. Therefore, new conservation materials equipped with proved long-term stability should be developed as soon as possible.

The purpose of this study is to find out a significant influence of continental strategy theories on the development of maritime strategy theories. For this purpose, I examined similar and different parts of each theories and their implications when applied to different environment. In details, Chapter 2 deals with how continental strategy and maritime strategy theories are similar and different in general. In Chapter 3, I look into how Karl Clausewitz's theory that has been quoted the most by military strategy theorists had influenced over the theory of Julian Corbett, one of the representative English maritime strategy theorists. In Chapter 4, I study how the theory of Alfred Mahan that has also been quoted the most among the theories of maritime strategy had been influenced by Antoine-Henri Jomini's theory. And in Chapter 5, their contemporary implications and conclusions are drawn. According to my findings, unbelievably, the theories of maritime strategy had been influenced by existing continental strategy theories very much. Many similarities are found between them. However, at the same time, a large part of them is found significantly different from original ones especially when used to reflect the maritime distinctiveness. This means that the past maritime strategy theories and stored experience also wield influence, in many ways, yielding out much better ones in terms of applicability to changing environment. Therefore, devising new strategies with creative attitude using knowledges and experiences from both other fields and past ones is the virtue required for maritime strategists.

This study is about the costume depicted upon the fraction of fresco which was excavated from Kumseong-li, Hwadae-Gun, Hamkyungbuk-Do, North Korea in 2004. According to the characteristics of its relics, this tomb was reported to belong to Parhae Dynasty(698-926). The fraction of fresco only shows below part of the knees of a man. A light red colored robe reaches down to his ankles on the back, whereas front part of it looks tucked up, which is likely to have slits on both side seams. Although tightly wrapped shins were reported as a pair of gaiters, there is no decisive evidence on the fresco. I suggest another possibility that this man wore slim pants. Also in order to figure out if these shins are considered as gaiters, I proceed comparative research on the historical sources about gaiters of countries and eras adjacent to Parhae. Consequently the idea that people of Parhae might have used gaiters turned out to be acceptable. The black boots show rather basic style: the toe tips are not pointed up, boot leg doesn't look either wide or long. These boots can not be identified with Ammohwa(暗摸靴) which the envoy Yang(楊) gave the protocol Miyakoyoshika(都良香) at his official visit to Japan, because Ammohwa has not yet been properly defined.

본 논문에서는 왜곡된 시대사와 더불어 현대의 한국디자인이 전통과 단절되고 변이되어가는 과정을 실증적 사료를 통하여 그 원인을 살펴보고(2, 3장), 이후 현대에까지 이어지고 있는 문화정체성 찾기의 노력의 디자인계의 노력을 살펴 그 경과와 문제점을 지적하고(4장), 문화주체적 한국디자인이 나아갈 방향에 대한 논의의 새로운 출발점을 세우고자 하는데 목적이 있다(5장). 이미 구시대적 패러다임이 되어버린 산업사회의 디자인관에서 비롯된 많은 부조리와, 근현대 정치권의 정책적 유도로 왜곡된 문화적 정체성에 대한 전반적인 논의를 다시 생각해보고, 디자인계에 필요한 새로운 이정표를 세움으로서, 차후 지속될 ‘한국적 디자인’ 논의의 방향전환을 꾀하고 정보지식사회에 ‘한국디자인’에 필요한 문화담론의 생산과 요구되어지는 노력, 이를 위해 강구되어야 할 현실적인 방안을 검토해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다.

We are developing a CCD camera named CQUEAN (Camera for Quasars in Early Universe) to search for quasars at z > 7. CQUEAN has a 1024*1024 deep depletion CCD chip and will be attached to 2.1m Otto-Struve Telescope at McDonald Observatory, USA. Although commercial software for the CCD camera is provided by the vendor, we are going to develop our own software to control the other instruments as well, to carry out efficient observation. There are four major parts in our software: Instrument control part controls the camera and filter wheel to obtain imaging data. Quick look window is to display acquired imaging data for quick inspection. Telescope control part interfaces with Telescope Control System (TCS) to move the telescope and to get time or coordinate information. Finally, Observation scripting facility part carries out a series of short exposures in a batch. The whole software will be written in python on linux platform, using the instrument control software libraries provided by the vendors.

본 논문에서는 루프 대역폭을 조절하여 빠른 위상 고정 시간을 갖는 새로운 구조의 이중 루프 위상고정루프를 제안하였다. 위상고정루프가 out-lock 상태일 때는 채널 간격의 1/10보다 더 큰 대역폭을 갖도록 하였으며, in-lock 부근에서는 채널 간격의 1/10 보다 더 작은 좁은 대역폭을 갖도록 하였다. 제안된 위상고정루프는 표준 CMOS $0.35{\mu}m$ 공정으로 HSPICE를 이용하여 설계 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 PLL의 대역폭을 200KHz 채널 간격 보다 14배 크게 하여 80MHz의 주파수를 변화시키는데 $50{\mu}s$의 빠른 위상고정 시간을 갖는 것으로 나타났다.

Purpose: This study aims to find out ultimate forecasting factors of intention to resign by examining the degree of burnout, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention to resign in hospital nurses and to look into the differences among them according to general characteristics. Methods: This study used investigation of relationships to analyze relations among burnout, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention to resign in hospital nurses to find out factors influencing turnover intention to resign in hospital nurses. Results: This study revealed that the higher job dissatisfaction and burnout of hospital nurses, the higher turnover intention to resign. This study also showed that the higher burnout caused the lower job satisfaction which led to resignation and a forecasting factor that influenced turnover intention to resign was burnout. Conclusion: It is necessary to conduct continuous and systematic research and to seek ways that can prevent the resignation of nurses and improve job satisfaction in hospital nurses.

The purpose of this study is to find out learning content for astronomical observation that could perform astronomical programs regardless of weather conditions as a case for the present conditions of astronomical observation and the methods of new education for astronomical observation, and to suggest the methods of synchronized multiple astronomical observation and actual cases using the Internet network. The results are as follows. First, the method of galaxy-oriented astronomical education helped those attempting to approach astronomy academically for the first time grasp useful concepts as to the astronomical space, and let them look at the space in an objective sense, which was effective in forming cosmic structure and concepts. Second, the administration curriculum of astronomical observation team was related to data that systematically contained annual astronomical education concerning the operation of astronomical observation teams; thus, they could be suggested as beneficial teaching materials to the teachers who wanted to organize a school club meeting. Third, it has been noted that the level of students' satisfaction in p2d program and MSO program was very high, and they turned out to be effective learning methods that could be implemented even in times of rain when it would not be possible to conduct astronomical observation activities.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the transformation of openings installed on the partition wall between Daechung and Bang, through the case study on MyungRyunDangs of 19 HangGyos in Kyungbuk province. The way to carry out this study was to look through existing situations and to find out transformed traces of the openings in terms of their locations on several floor types. The transformation of the openings was analyzed chronologically into two cases of 'before 18C' and 'after 18C'. i) Before 18C ; the early type had double swing window on the front column spacing and single swing door on the rear, and the later type had swing door on the front column spacing and on openings on the rear. ii) After 18C; the earlist type was the same as the later type of 'before 18C', the next type had swing doors on both the front and the rear column spacing, and the last type had Sabunhap-swing door on the column spacing, iii) Through those transformations, the windows gradually replaced by the doors in the openings.

The first purpose of this study was to compare the fashion zones and fashion brands on the floors in small and medium volume department store with those of big department stores within adjacent trading area. The second purpose was to find out similarity and differentiation of near-by department stores. The third one was to propose the future fashion marketing strategies of the department stores. The methods used were references, internet, field observation, and interview in 2002. Eight department stores within adjacent trading area were classified and analysed In "Gangnam division", "Seocho division＇. and "Youngdeungpo division". The results were as follows : Firstly, there was a low relationship between the degrees of brand equalization of each department store in the "Gangnam, Seocho. and Youngdeungpo division". Secondly, there was an alteration on the floor layout of each department store. It was layed out in a way that allowed for customers, who wanted to just purchase specific items, to go upstairs and look around several stores, which allowed for not only rise in the amount of sales but also offer the convenience of one stop shopping for the customers. Thirdly I proposed several marketing strategies such as lifestyle marketing, relationship marketing, and compile marketing which solves everyday life agenda. I also proposed the solution selling education to develop service education of salesperson. I finally proposed the overriding priority policy by sales record of each store.licy by sales record of each store.
