온라인 시장은 비대면 거래와 한정적인 시장의 규모로 인해 오프라인시장의 보조적 역할로 자리매김해 왔다. 그러나 전자상거래의 많은 장점에도 불구하고, 전자상거래의 동시 다발적 물류의 발생흐름은 전자상거래 상품의 가격 상승과 이로 인한 잠재적 구매 고려로 이어져 전자상거래 활성화에 걸림돌로 작용되어 왔다. 또한 이러한 순흐름 방향의 물류 발생이외에도 역물류 발생 자체가 상품 가격의 상승으로 이어지고, 역물류 발생 우려에 대한 잠재적 불안이 소비자의 구매 자체를 저해하는 요인이 되어왔다. 전자상거래 역물류를 발생시키는 원인에는 제품불량, 제품 부적합, 기대이하의 제품, 더 나은 거래 조건의 등장 등이 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 더 나아가 전자상거래 제품 선택에 대한 인지적 능력에 대한 높은 요구 그리고 비대면 거래의 특성, 상품지표 역할의 부족으로 인한 제품 채택의 어려움이 역물류 발생 원인으로 조사되었다. 본 연구 목적은 전자상거래 특히, B2C거래 중심의 역물류 발생원인을 살펴보고, 역물류 발생 원인을 제거하여 역물류 발생을 최소화할 수 있는 요인을 찾고, 역물류의 효율적 관리 방안을 제시함으로써 이에 대한 최소화 방안을 연구하여 역물류 발생자체를 억제하는데 있다. 그러나 현상의 발생과 대안이 선행연구의 부족에 따라 연구자의 주관적 견해가 많아, 이를 발전시켜 설문조사와 실증분석을 통해 입증하고, 세분화하는 것이 향후 연구 방향이라 하겠다.

The Internet of Things is one of the most important technologies that can realize a super connective society. Efforts are being made to use the Internet in most areas of our society. For the purpose of analyzing the influence of the recent environmental changes of container logistics system in container terminal, the simulation model of container logistics system on BCTOC is developed in this paper. The simulation model is accomplished by the AweSim simulation language, and the several data which have been used in simulation gained through spot research and basic statistic analysis using the first half of 1998 electronic data in BCTOC. The results of this study are as follows; (1) In the case of BCTOC, the decreasing of container volumes is observed during the first half of 1998 compare with that of 1997. (2) In the container handling service market, the monopolistic market system in the past rapidly diverts to the competition market system from now. (3) From the simulation results, the improving of container logistics system is observed. (4) Because of these results, BCTOC will come to strengthen customer service and competitive power through starting On-Dock service system and operating the team of customer management in the long term.

In recent years, market access is expected to become more important in logistics location selection. In addition, it is necessary to support logistics functions for small and medium-sized enterprises. In this study, we propose a location suitability evaluation system for public rental logistics spaces. The location selection and evaluation system of the public rental logistics space proposed in this study is composed of large (5), medium (10), and small (20) indicators. The 1^st class were five factors: market factors, economic factors, transportation factors, site factors, policy and social factors, and the 2^nd classifications per the 1^st class, and the 3^rd class for each 2^nd class. After deriving the relative importance of each indicator through AHP for experts, it was verified by utilizing GIS analysis for virtual candidates in the metropolitan area. As a result of the trial application, it was evaluated that it could be applied with realistic results. In addition, it was confirmed that it is possible to apply evaluation indicators using spatial data constructed in Korea, and to use the evaluation indicators, it is necessary to perform various spatial analysis and processing tasks on raw data.

Logistics has become a key element in a shipping firm's overall strategy, now that the concept of logistics has expanded into one that is more comprehensive and integrated. furthermore, the global shipping market is the most competitive market in the world. In this environment, shipping firms are using Logistics Information Systems (LIS), which help them to save time and reduce costs. As such, LIS has become a critical part of Korea's attempts to develop Its national logistics system and industry. In this light, this study attempted to empirically determine the critical elements necessary for effective shipping LIS implementation and to then analyze how these elements are related to actual logistics performance within the shipping industry. The research results show that the sample firms considered the following factors to be most Important to an effective LIS: the support of top management; an efficient and well-structured communication channel; a solid strategic implementation plan; and a high level of information analysis internally. Other factors mentioned as being somewhat significant included MIS organization and human resources, MIS discipline and training, software development capabilities, MIS organizational alignment, database management systems information standardization, competitive advantage, financial support and government support The main problems with current shipping LIS include the expensive cost of systems, lack of standardized working processes, and weak organizational structures.

CALS/EC is about doing business electronically. It is based on the electronic processing and transmission of data, including text, sound and video. It encompasses many diverse activities including electronic trading of goods and services, online delivery of digital content, electronic fund transfers, electronic share trading, electronic bills of lading, commercial auctions, collaborative design and engineering, online sourcing, public procuremet, direct consumer marketing, and after-sales service. It involves both products(e.g. consumer goods, specialised medical equipment) and services(e.g. information services, financial and legal services); traditional activities(e.g. healthcare, education) and new activities (e.g. virtual malls). CALS/EC will be emerging to replace and substitute the role of the conventional market. By changing and eliminating some processes of the transactions, the electronic market and the electronic commerce will redistribute the power and hence the benefits of the market activities. Traditional way of doing business may enter into the new electronic market because the role and function of trust and established reputation will be reinforced in the electronic market. The CALS/EC through the Internet has been in the spotlight in the shopping behavior of the consumers. Accordingly Corporates are trying to adapt themselves to those rapidly changing environments being affected by the Internet. Among others, particularly to be noted is the CALS/EC between corporations and consumers whose potential growth can be considered very substantial. This report, focusing on the introduction of CALS/EC for the logistics of SMEs, will allow us to prepare more efficiently for the coming 21st Century. It is obvious that CALS/EC is fast becoming the useful way of exchanging not only information but products in business between firm-to-firm and firm-to-customer.

Ninety percent of an average Chinese manufacturer's time spent is on logistics. Therefore, logistics presents the greatest challenge for multinational companies conducting businesses in China. Although more than 18,000 registered logistics companies exist in China, 85 percent of their revenues are generated from basic trucking and storage services. These facts indicate that China will need increasing presence of high-quality foreign 3PL providers, who are able to provide sophisticated IT systems, industry/operational expertise, standardized operating processes, and international networks, compared to their Chinese counterparts. However, they are facing complicated array of laws and regulations as well as difficulty of finding qualified people to fulfill these needs. There are a number of foreign 3PL providers engaged in China's logistics sector to reap a huge opportunity. Nevertheless, many 3PL foreign providers are still cautious about making large investments. Thus they arelooking for alliances that can provide complementarities instead. Another salient feature of strategy is to take over the transportation assets and warehousing of major Chinese manufacturers and distributors.

The Baltic Capesize Index (BCI), which is used as an indicator for marine transportation of steel raw materials, is one of the key economic indexes for managing the risk of loss due to rapid market fluctuations when steel companies establish business strategies and procuring plans for raw materials. Still, the conditions of supply and demand of steel raw materials has been extremely affected by volatility shocks from drastic events like the financial crisis such as the Lehman Brothers incident and changes in the external environment such as COVID-19. And, especially since the 2008 financial crisis, endeavors to predict the market conditions of the steel raw material is becoming more and more arduous for the deepening uncertainty and increased volatility of BCI, which has been used as a leading indicator of the real economy. This study investigates the correlation between the steel raw material market and the marine transportation market by estimating the spillover effect of information between markets. The vector error correction model (VECM) was used to analyze information transfer based on the correlation between the BCI and crude steel production, capesize fleet supply, raw material price, and cargo volume.

전자상거래 시장의 급격한 성장과 유통채널 및 소비형태의 변화에 힘입어 국내 택배시장은 지속적으로 성장해왔다. 이러한 택배시장의 급속한 성장과 변화에 택배기업들은 물류 정보기술에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 택배기업의 물류정보기술과 정보시스템 품질이 택배 이용자에게 어떻게 인식되고 있으며 택배서비스 이용성과 만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 연구하였다. 이를 위해 기존 문헌의 조사를 기초로 하여 물류정보시스템 품질과 이용자만족에 대하여 타당하고 신뢰할만한 측정 도구를 개발하였고, 설문을 통해 실증연구 하였다. 연구결과 6개의 물류정보시스템 품질 요인이 도출되었고, 도출된 품질 요인들 중 경제성 요인을 제외한 SMS정보성, 물품추적 웹사이트 정보성, 안정성, 신속성과 정확성이 택배서비스의 이용자만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 결과의 이론적 및 실무적 시사점도 논의하였다.

Purpose - According to the actual change of the logistics concept, the outsourcing activities of companies are actively progressing, and this is proceeding to third-party logistics and fourth-party logistics. This change in logistics situation raises the need for an in-depth understanding of four-party logistics. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, first of all, the theoretical aspects of changes in the logistics concept are identified, along with the outsourcing and third-party logistics. Finally, the concept of four-party logistics, the background of its introduction, and future prospects will be explored. Result - The meaning of physical distribution is now passing through the existing three-party logistics and entering the era of four-way logistics. In addition, cost reduction and improvement of customer service through advanced logistics strategy can be said to be the company's competitiveness. Through this study, it can be seen that the conceptual change of logistics and the introduction of four-party logistics are closely related to the survival of the company's deficit in the market. Conclusion - In modern society, logistical competitiveness is the competitiveness of a company, and logistical activities of a company can be achieved through the process of entering the four-party logistics from the existing third-party logistics based on outsourcing. Then more customer-oriented service can be provided.
