  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze and prove the effect of logistic capability and Total Quality Management practices on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) performance directly or mediated by non-financial performance. Research design, data and methodology: This study tested the hypothesis using Hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the method of data collection in this study was using questionnaire, the sampling technique was purposive sampling technique, with SME that has been established for more than 5 years and manufacturing. The data analyzed were 180 respondents using SPSS 25. Results: The findings showed that logistic capability has direct and indirect effects on SME financial performance and has a positive effect on SME financial performance mediated by non-financial performance. While the total quality management practices have a positive effect on SME financial performance mediated by non-financial performance. Thus, companies can achieve maximum financial performance if they invest in developing employee knowledge and concerning on non-financial actions, such as employee satisfaction, innovation and proactively seeking market opportunities. Conclusions: In conclusion, one of the main factors that companies need to consider to improve financial performance is non-financial performance in mediating the effect of logistic capability and TQM practices on the financial performance of SMEs.

  • In this paper, we derive some estimators of the scale parameter of the exponentiated half-logistic distribution based on the multiply Type-I hybrid censoring scheme. We assume that the shape parameter λ is known. We obtain the maximum likelihood estimator of the scale parameter σ. The scale parameter is estimated by approximating the given likelihood function using two different Taylor series expansions since the likelihood equation is not explicitly solved. We also obtain Bayes estimators using prior distribution. To obtain the Bayes estimators, we use the squared error loss function and general entropy loss function (shape parameter q = -0.5, 1.0). We also derive interval estimation such as the asymptotic confidence interval, the credible interval, and the highest posterior density interval. Finally, we compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error through Monte Carlo simulation. The average length of 95% intervals and the corresponding coverage probability are also obtained.

  • In this paper, for analyzing binary data, Poisson regression with offset and logistic regression are compared with respect to the power via simulations. Poisson distribution can be used as an approximation of binomial distribution when n is large and p is small; however, we investigate if the same conditions can be held for the power of significant tests between logistic regression and offset poisson regression. The result is that when offset size is large for rare events offset poisson regression has a similar power to logistic regression, but it has an acceptable power even with a moderate prevalence rate. However, with a small offset size (< 10), offset poisson regression should be used with caution for rare events or common events. These results would be good guidelines for users who want to use offset poisson regression models for binary data.

  • The selection of proposed sites for the general logistic center of agriculture products would be made the most suitable place by considering the spread of population as real consumers, the prospect of the demand, the expansion of traffic system, the regional, hourly and carring traffic volume and the use of land based urban planning, etc. As the preconsideration, the possible occupant companies have to be selected on the category of business and the district. After posing questions and having interview, several selected regions would be compared and analysed for deciding the most suitable place. The model for the general logistic center of agricultural products must be selected taking key factors approach for choosing key factors at first and referring to many documentary records. And the more, cooperating with the specialists for location selection and making objective questions to concerned companies, the most suitable place is selected by marking high score for the moderate land cost, the low traffic jam, the connection with the back cities and the possible expansion as the general logistic center of agriculture products.

  • At this research, author discusses about ROK Army military supplies distribution system and suggests a direction of development as follows in order to achieve maximum efficiency. First, Develope a scientific technique to estimate quantity of repair part for futher demanding at the budgetting and procurement planning stage. Second, Introduce an Logistic Revolving Fund in other to reduce the procurement lead time & assure flexible procurement all year round. Third, Reestabilish supply step stages and reduce stock level which is authorized stock amount in logistic support unit. Fourth, Estabilish civilian - military integrated military supplies distribution system to improve the efficiency of logistics.

  • In this paper, we develop the noninformative priors for the scale parameter and the shape parameter in the log-logistic distribution. We developed the first and second order matching priors. It turns out that the second order matching prior matches the alternative coverage probabilities, and is a highest posterior density matching prior. Also we revealed that the derived reference prior is the second order matching prior for both parameters, but Jerffrey's prior is not a second order matching prior. We showed that the proposed reference prior matches the target coverage probabilities in a frequentist sense through simulation study, and an example based on real data is given.

  • In this paper, we derive the approximate maximum likelihood estimators(AMLEs) and maximum likelihood estimator of the scale parameter in a half-logistic distribution based on progressive Type-II censored samples. We compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error for various censored samples. We also obtain the approximate maximum likelihood estimators of the reliability function using the proposed estimators. We compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error.

  • In this paper accelerated life testing is incorporated in quality control technique of acceptance sampling plan to induce early failures in high reliability products.Stress under accelerated condition can be applied in constant-stress, step-stress and progressive-stress or combination of such loadings. A ramp-stress results when stress is increased linearly (from zero) with time. In this paper optimum failure-censored ramp-stress accelerated life test sampling plan for log-logistic distribution has been formulated with cost considerations. The log-logistic distribution has been found appropriate for insulating materials. The optimal plans consist in finding optimum sample size, sample proportion allocated to each stress, and stress rate factor such that producer's and consumer's interests are safeguarded. Variance optimality criterion is used when expected cost per lot is not taken into consideration, and bilevel programming approach is used in cost optimization problems. The methods developed have been illustrated using some numerical examples, and sensitivity analyses carried out in the context of ramp-stress ALTSP based on variable SSP for proportion nonconforming.

  • In this paper, we derive maximum likelihood estimators (MLEs) and approximate MLEs (AMLEs) of the unknown parameters in a generalized half logistic distribution when the data are upper record values. As an illustration, we examine the validity of our estimation using real data and simulated data. Finally, we compare the proposed estimators in the sense of the mean squared error (MSE) through a Monte Carlo simulation for various record values of size.
