내시경 로봇을 위한 웜구동 방사형 이동메커니즘 (Radial Type Locomotive Mechanism with Worm for Robotic Endoscope)

  • In this paper, we suggest a new locomotive mechanism fur self-propelling robotic endoscope which could substitute conventional endoscope. Many researchers proposed inchworm-like mechanism for self-propelling robotic endoscope. But it could not be commercialized because they did not solve the limitation caused by clamping. Therefore, we suggest a new radial-type locomotive mechanism with worm. It can propel itself in any situation and take passive-steering because of radial type. In addition, it can be miniaturized with worm. In this paper, we evaluate the mechanism in the dead pig colon as well as under various environments, and verify the performance fur robotic endoscope.

전기기관차 견인전동기 운전점 특성과 가진주파수를 고려한 프레임 설계 (Frame Design Considering Exciting Frequency and Driving Characteristic of a Traction Motor for Electric Locomotive)

  • In this paper, we were performed a structural analysis and durability analysis for an integral frame with an axle according to development of the electric locomotive traction motor. In terms of the structural stability, as a result of the analysis modeling with coupling conditions of beam element and an alternative element of three-dimensional, the maximum von-Mises stress of the locking screw mounting frame were similar as 50MPa and 51MPa. Also A comparison of the natural frequency and the exciting frequency while driving of the electric locomotive No. 8200, the natural frequency is 627.05Hz~856.9Hz while the exciting frequency is not more than most 30Hz or 553Hz, 1110Hz. Therefore, it is possible to avoid the resonance.

  • Bogie frame of the locomotive is an important structural member for the support of vehicle loading. A lot of study has been carried out for the prediction of the structural integrity of the bogie frame in experimental and theoretical domains. The objective of this paper is to estimate the structural integrity of the bogie frame. Strength analysis has been performed by finite element analysis. From these analysis, stress concentration areas were investigated. For evaluation of the loading conditions, dynamic stress were measured by using strain gage. It has been found that the stress and strain due to the applied loads were multi-axial condition according to the location of strain gage. The fatigue strength evaluations of the bogie frame are performed to investigate the effect of the multi-axial load through the employment of the critical plane approach.

  • The propulsion for locomotive application has changed from the DC motor system to the induction motor system. Although the induction motor system has almost reached the stage of maturity, this system also needs to be changed to the PM motor system for the direct drive without using reduction gear. Thus, the IPMSM(Interior buried Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) has been adopted to meet the locomotive driving specification. In this paper, the design of IPMSM satisfying driving specifications for the direct drive has been performed using the advanced F.E.M.

  • The two prototypes of a Wheel Type Locomotive Mechanism Using Micro motor for a Capsule-Type Endoscope are outlined and realized. Basic concept of these mechanisms is to use a rod-shaped wheel, with which these mechanisms can go over the haustral folds inside colon. The actuator of Prototype I is geared dc motor and the actuator for steering is Shape Memory Alloy. Prototype I goes through the whole area of colonoscopy training model. Prototype II can not only go forward and backward, but also be steerable with 2 geared dc motors. Prototype II goes through dead pig colon.

  • Conventional clonoscope is semiflexible tube that should be manipulated by operator for inspection and treatment. Therefore, it sometimes causes pain for the patient and even perforation to the wall of colon if a surgeon is not well trained. For safe colonoscopy, self-propelling robots with inchworm locomotion are studied. But, inchworm locomotion has some problems in adaptiveness to the variation of colon diameter. In this paper, we propose novel locomotive mechanism which can move in the colon without any external assistance. It has several cams that have constant phase difference each other and located along the centerline of the mechanism. This mechanism could realize the robotic endoscope which has continuous and smooth thrust force.

  • Electric load components have different characteristics according to the variation of voltage and frequency. This paper presents the load modeling of an electric locomotive by the parameter identification method. The proposed method for load modeling is very simple and easy for application. The proposed load model of the electric locomotive is represented by the combination of the loads that have static and dynamic characteristics. This load modeling is applied to the KTX in Korea to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results of proposed load modeling by the parameter identification follow the field measurements very exactly.

  • There are many studies on the ride comfort for the train from the viewpoint of passenger. But there are only a few studies on the ride comfort for engineers in the locomotive. The railway has the track conditions, such as irregularities, rail joints, turnout, level crossing, transition curves and super-elevation ramps, which cause vibrations. Generally, the ride comfort for the train is evaluated by using the vibrations. In this study, vibration accelerations have been measured in the cabin rooms of locomotives, such as DL(Diesel-electric Locomotive), DHC(Diesel Hyduralic Car) and NEL(New-Electric Locomotive) when running on the Kyoungbu conventional line. And then, their ride comforts has been analyzed and evaluated by statistical method according to UIC 513R.

경의선장단역증기기관차의 부식방지를 위한 왁스계 피복제 내후성 시험 연구 (A Study on the Testing of Weather Resistance of Anti-corrosion Wax Covering Agents in the Locomotive at Jangdan Station of Gyeongui Line)

  • 야외 전시되는 철제문화재 보존을 위해서 유물 표면을 피복처리 하는 것은 부식방지의 대표적인 방법이다. 근대문화유산 제78호 경의선장단역증기기관차는 보존조치 후 노천에서 전시될 예정이라서 기관차의 재부식 예방에 효과적인 표면 피복재를 내후성 실험을 통해 선별하였다. 실험재료는 기관차 표면 피복에 주로 사용되는 미정질 왁스 2종과 봉밀왁스를 기반으로 제조한 혼합왁스를 선별하였다. 실험방법은 3종의 왁스를 기관차 시편에 각각 피복하고 ISO 4892-1981 기준에 따라 제논아크촉진내후성시험기 속에서 1000시간 내후성 시험을 한 후 그 변화상을 비교 조사하였다. 실험결과 봉밀 왁스는 400시간 이후부터 표면에 백화현상이 발생하면서 노화하였고 미정질 왁스 2종은 800시간 이후부터 변화를 보였다. 시험전과 후 수분접촉각의 변화 역시 봉밀 왁스 보다 미정질 왁스가 적게 나타났다. 따라서 미정질 왁스 중 특히 고온형이 내후성과 수분 차단력이 가장 뛰어난 것으로 확인되어서 이것으로 증기기관차의 표면을 피복하게 되었다.

  • The Auxiliary Inverter supply the power to Loads of Electric Locomotive. The Auxiliary Inverter have three characteristics. First, The Auxiliary Inverter is VVVF(variable voltage variable frequency) inverter. And, the output voltage is AC $0^{\sim}440V$. Second, The Auxiliary Inverter is controled all operations by CCU(Center Control Unit). Last, The Auxiliary Inverter have the SIBMON program. This program easily displays most of all status of auxiliary inverter.
