GML Based Tourism Information System for Location Based Service

  • At present, GML becomes the global standard for the XML encoding of geographic information and is the foundation for the Geo-Web. GML is being applied to a wide range of geographic applications including GIS and location-based services, telematics and intelligent transportation systems. In this paper, we propose the tourism information system for supporting the location based service application. We made an effort to design and implement a GIS computing environment by thin client for mobile web mapping service. We are interested in the GML applications that include traditional GIS system for navigation service and location finder for points of interest (POI) services. This paper summarizes the Tourism information system for location based service of a small area (Han-Ok Village with the Korean traditional houses in Jeonju-city), in which moving travelers can obtain proper information services at the current location associated with traditional monuments, cultural products, food, and conveniences. In the paper, we report on the design of the thin client/server system for a mobile environment. This paper is divided into three parts. First, we give a general overview of the organization of the system and of the important concerns of our design. Second we focus on our system supports for location and POI determination, and design concerns. Finally, we show the graphic user interface of PDA, the procedures involved in the service, and the executed results.

  • The spread of wireless Internet technology development and applications with location information in the form of location-based services are more varied. In particular, where you recognize the location of objects such as people and things, and to provide valuable services based on ubiquitous, location-based services (Ubiquitous Location Based Services: u-LBS) is emerging as an important service. In this paper precise location data to the car crash through the location and offers related service system. In this paper the precise location tracking proposed by the concept of the Rail, road, to extract the location Data Matching Data and the current location is obtained. System used in GPS Packet and information about the location of the vehicle collision and the collision time, the vehicle consists of NodeID is about. Using these data, a packet is to be created when the conflict between vehicles in the vehicle will be sent to Gateway. Gateway to the packets that were sent from the Server to determine whether the conflict is that in an emergency situation, Emergency Center for location information and let me know whether or not the conflict will be measured. Also, for those on the outside of an emergency such as a family related to the wireless terminal wireless (PDA, cell phone) is to let me know. Server get into the conflict that was configured to store information on the Database. Additionally, the proposed u-LBS system to verify the validity of the experiment was performed.

  • We introduce Location PDA Program which is a mobile system to display current location on PDA. The current location is calculated based on collecting location through each fixed node. Each fixed node sends location information of mobile node to Cell Manager system. And then, Cell Manager calculates final location based on related information and sends it to every mobile system which is connected to server and displays current location.

  • 위치기반서비스는 위치정보를 기반으로 하는 다양하고 광범위한 서비스를 의미한다. 이러한 위치기반 서비스들은 개인 위치정보 보호를 위하여 위치정보보호법에 의한 규제를 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 위치정보보호법에 의한 위치정보의 형태와 의미를 살펴보고, 위치정보 흐름을 분석하여 그 사용방법 및 한계에 대하여 살펴보도록 한다. 이를 바탕으로 위치정보가 다양한 분야의 서비스 개발 등에 활용되어 보다 광범위하게 활용되었으면 한다.

  • In this paper, we introduce localization server system calculated real location of objects using raw data of location-awareness from sensor node gateway. The software architecture of localization server system consists of location calculation and actuator control based on location. Also, this system supports for collecting raw data, calculating location of real objects using raw data, correcting error from outer environment, and server for applications based on location.

  • 본 연구는 LBS(Location Based Service) 기반에 5.8-5.9Ghz RSU를 이용한 실시간 교통 시스템(RTS)에 관한 연구이다. 제안된 LBI(Location based Broadcast system on ITS)는 방송국 T-DMB 시스템과 ITS 기반 실시간 교통 시스템을 융합하고, 노변기지국(RSU:Road Side Unit)을 중심으로 제공되는 운전자를 위한 지역정보 기반 서비스이다. 본 방송국과 ITS의 융합은 IP기반 양방향 통신은 IP 기반으로 이루어지며, RSU를 이용하여 차량 위치의 파악을 통한 LBS(Location Based Service)를 제공한다. 지역 매크로 관리자(LMM)과 지역 방송국과 상호 정보 교환으로 정보 전달의 실시간성과 서비스의 다양성을 제공할 수 있었다. 기존 실시간 교통시스템에서 전송 범위(transmission area)의 한계와 기존 T-DMB의 단방향 서비스 문제를 상호 보완하였다. 이를 통해 개별 운전자의 실시간 양방향 서비스를 제공할 수 있었다. 또한 운전자들에게 실시간 교통 및 지역정보를 제공함으로써 분산효과와 서비스 확대를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 연구소 주변에 테스트 베드 구축과 구현으로 검증하였다.

실내 렌티큘러 스티커를 이용한 위치기반 시스템 개발 (Development of Location Based System using Indoor Lenticular Sticker)

  • 렌티큘러 위치기반 시스템은 지상 및 실외중심의 지역, 건물, 선박, 지하 등 실내에 있는 사용자가 스스로 자신의 위치를 실시간으로 알릴 수 있는 위치정보 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 이전의 실내 위치 인식기술의 한계성과 문제점을 분석하고, 이용자 중심의 위치서비스 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 렌티큘러 스티커, 데이터베이스(DB) 수집 및 분석기술, 측위시스템으로 구성되어 있고, 측위오차기반 서비스를 실행하기 위한 기반 인프라로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 실내 렌티큘러를 이용한 위치기반시스템 개발을 통하여 사용자 중심의 측위 정확도 향상뿐만 아니라, 각종 재난안전 상황에서 신속한 구조활동에 사용자 중심의 위치기반 시스템으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • So many location based service systems, including automobile navigation system logistic management, taxi fleet management, and so on, are being used everywhere. However, these are all outdoors. This paper provides a stepping stone for commercial indoor location based services by developing an integrated system of our indoor positioning and map viewer modules. For the indoor positioning, we propose WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) based EKF (Extended Kalman Filter) which estimates user's current location and tracts user's trace in the sequence of time. Our map viewer renders a map recorded in an Autocad DXF file and provides functions of map manipulation such as zoom-in, zoom-out, and move. We integrate our indoor positioning and map viewer modules and discuss the experimental results of the integrated system.

  • The assignment of cells to reporting or non-reporting cells is an NP-hard problem having an exponential complexity in the Reporting Cell Location Management (RCLM) system. Frequent location update may result in degradation of quality of service due to interference. Miss on the location of a mobile terminal will necessitate a search operation on the network when a call comes in. The number of reporting cells and which cell must be reporting cell should be determined to balance the registration (location update) and search (paging) operations to minimize the cost of RCLM system. T1is paper compares Max-Min ant system (MMAS), rank-based ant system (RAS) and hybrid method of MMAS and RAS that generally used to solve combinatorial optimization problems. Experimental results demonstrate that hybrid method of MMAS and RAS is an effective and competitive approach in fairly satisfactory results with respect to solution quality and execution time for the optimal design of location management system.

  • According to developing Wireless Communication, not only a location based service at the outside but also a location based service at the inside was more increased socially. This paper proposes the efficient algorithm to locate a transfer object in frequent change of indoor environment using indoor location tracking system we develop ourself. Proposing algorithm in this paper can locate a transfer object using the Fingerprint, one of the Location Tracking techniques which are used in general to minimize error data between Location Tracking System and Fingerprint, using this way that corrects location data as KF apply to result data can improve accuracy of a transfer object. At last we are going to compare and analyze existing typical triangulation with proposed Indoor location tracking system to demonstrate algorithm efficiency for proposed Indoor location tracking system.
