In this note, we prove that an Artinian local ring is G-semisimple (resp., SG-semisimple, 2-SG-semisimple) if and only if its maximal ideal is G-projective (resp., SG-projective, 2-SG-projective). As a corollary, we obtain the global statement of the above. We also give some examples of local G-semisimple rings whose maximal ideals are n-generated for some positive integer n.

As a result of the execution of the import liberalization and local autonomy with WTO system launching, centralized rural extension service converted to localized rural extension service. This advent of globalization and localization era affects our over all agricultural condition, moreover the duty and role of rural extension organization which take complete of rural extension, is compelled to diversified and specified technology. In this study, first we will investigate the change of agricultural, rural community, and local rural extension service in globalization and localization era. Second we will analyze the confronted problems of local rural extension service. With this study's outcome for basis, we will present new role and direction of local rural extension service which can contribute to local agricultural development.

Flange and web local buckling in beam plastic hinge regions of steel moment frames can prevent beam-column connections from achieving adequate plastic rotations under earthquake-induced forces. This threat is especially valid for existing steel moment frame buildings with beams that lack adequate flange/web slenderness ratios. As the use of fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) have increased in strengthening and repair of steel members in recent years, using FRPs in stabilizing local instabilities have also attracted attention. Previous computational studies have shown that longitudinally oriented glass FRP (GFRP) strips may serve to moderately brace beam flanges against the occurrence of local buckling during plastic hinging. An experimental study was conducted at Izmir Institute of Technology investigating the effects of GFRP reinforcement on local buckling behavior of existing steel I-beams with flange slenderness ratios (FSR) exceeding the slenderness limits set forth in current seismic design specifications and modified by a bottom flange triangular welded haunch. Four European HE400AA steel beams with a depth/width ratio of 1.26 and FSR of 11.4 were cyclically loaded up to 4% rotation in a cantilever beam test set-up. Both bare beams and beams with GFRP sheets were tested in order to investigate the contribution of GFRP sheets in mitigating local flange buckling. Different configurations of GFRP sheets were considered. The tests have shown that GFRP reinforcement can moderately mitigate inelastic flange local buckling.

현재 지역경제의 소득과 자금은 수도권으로 유출되고 있으며, 지역발전의 원동력인 인재들 역시 수도권으로 모여 지역의 경제는 심각한 위기에 직면해 있다. 지역화폐는 지방자치단체가 발행 주체이며, 해당 지역 안에서만 통용이 가능한 보조, 보완기능의 화폐이다. 지역경제 활성화를 위하여 지자체의 지역화폐 도입에 대한 이목 이 집중되면서 지역화폐의 발행 및 활용에 관한 연구가 계속하여 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 포털, SNS 등의 데이터 자료를 빅데이터를 활용하여 지자체 지역에서 발행되고 있는 지역화폐에 대한 소비자 이미지 분석을 통한 인식 파악과 함께 연구 결과를 바탕으로 지역화폐 발행 및 운영에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역화폐의 정책적 발행을 통해 지역 소비를 유도하여 지역의 경제적 소득 증대 효과를 보이고 있으며, 둘째, 지자체는 지역화폐 발행과 유통으로 경제 활성화와 지역 경제의 선순환 시스템 구축에 힘을 기울이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 블록체인 기술 도입으로 지역화폐의 안정적인 운영 실태를 보여주고 있다. 학술적 의의로 지역화폐의 정책의 방향성과 빅데이터 분석을 통하여 지역화폐에 대한 변화된 모습과 효과를 파악할 수 있었다.

This paper proposes new methods, named Derivative Code (DerivativeCode) and Derivative Code Pattern (DCP), for object recognition. The discriminative derivative code is used to capture the local relationship in the input image by concatenating binary results of the mathematical derivative value. Gabor based DerivativeCode is directly used to solve the palmprint recognition problem, which achieves a much better performance than the state-of-art results on the PolyU palmprint database. A new local pattern method, named Derivative Code Pattern (DCP), is further introduced to calculate the local pattern feature based on Dervativecode for object recognition. Similar to local binary pattern (LBP), DCP can be further combined with Gabor features and modeled by spatial histogram. To evaluate the performance of DCP and Gabor-DCP, we test them on the FERET and PolyU infrared face databases, and experimental results show that the proposed method achieves a better result than LBP and some state-of-the-arts.

Objective: Mutations in low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR), which encodes a critical protein for cholesterol homeostasis and lipid metabolism in mammals, are involved in cardiometabolic diseases, such as familial hypercholesterolemia in pigs. Whereas microRNAs (miRNAs) can control LDLR regulation, their involvement in circulating cholesterol and lipid levels with respect to cardiometabolic diseases in pigs is unclear. We aimed to identify and analyze LDLR as a potential target gene of SSC-miR-20a. Methods: Bioinformatic analysis predicted that porcine LDLR is a target of SSC-miR-20a. Wild-type and mutant LDLR 3'-untranslated region (UTR) fragments were generated by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and cloned into the pGL3-Control vector to construct pGL3 Control LDLR wild-3'-UTR and pGL3 Control LDLR mutant-3'-UTR recombinant plasmids, respectively. An miR-20a expression plasmid was constructed by inserting the porcine premiR-20a-coding sequence between the HindIII and BamHI sites in pMR-mCherry, and constructs were confirmed by sequencing. HEK293T cells were co-transfected with the miR-20a expression or pMR-mCherry control plasmids and constructs harboring the corresponding 3'-UTR, and relative luciferase activity was determined. The relative expression levels of miR-20a and LDLR mRNA and their correlation in terms of expression levels in porcine liver tissue were analyzed using reverse-transcription quantitative PCR. Results: Gel electrophoresis and sequencing showed that target gene fragments were successfully cloned, and the three recombinant vectors were successfully constructed. Compared to pMR-mCherry, the miR-20a expression vector significantly inhibited wild-type LDLR3'-UTR-driven (p<0.01), but not mutant LDLR-3'-UTR-driven (p>0.05), luciferase reporter activity. Further, miR-20a and LDLR were expressed at relatively high levels in porcine liver tissues. Pearson correlation analysis revealed that porcine liver miR-20a and LDLR levels were significantly negatively correlated (r = -0.656, p<0.05). Conclusion: LDLR is a potential target of miR-20a, which might directly bind the LDLR 3'-UTR to post-transcriptionally inhibit expression. These results have implications in understanding the pathogenesis and progression of porcine cardiovascular diseases.

As the information that can collect from the web to local database is increasing, we propose a system that can suggest related local documents when new document arrives. We also propose for constructing an association dictionary using web search engines for similarity calculation. The prototype system is also developed, which is described in detail.

This paper studies approximate solutions for a class of nonlinear diffusion population models. Our methods are to use the fundamental solution of heat equations to construct integral forms of the models and the well-known Banach compression map theorem to prove the existence of positive solutions of integral equations. Non-steady-state local approximate solutions for suitable harvest functions are obtained by utilizing the approximation theorem of multivariate continuous functions.

본 연구에서는 지역시청자들의 지역성 인식과 그들이 원하는 지역방송 서비스에 대한 고찰을 기반으로, 앞으로 지향해야 할 지역방송의 서비스 정책 방향과 구체적인 서비스 전략을 모색해 보았다. 연구방법은 KBS가 실시한 3차례(2013, 2015, 2018년)의 지역시청자 설문조사와 심층인터뷰 자료들을 활용한 2차 분석(Secondary Analysis)이다. 지역시청자들에게 지역성 개념은 실제 자신이 거주하는 시/군/구를 중심으로 좁아지고 있으며, 중요하게 인식하는 정보 역시 실제 생활권역에서 발생하는 지역정보들이다. 지역방송의 정체성을 강화하고 지역방송 서비스를 개선하기 위해, 첫째, 지역 메가 플랫폼으로 기능과 역할을 확장해야 한다. 둘째, 지역현안에 대한 심층취재나 토론 등 지역프로그램을 강화해야 한다. 셋째, 지역시청자와의 소통을 위해, 지역방송 구성원들의 시청자 분석능력, 소통교육이 필요하다. 넷째, 지역민들이 지역방송의 생산자로 참여하는 생태계 조성이 필요하다.

This paper attempts to identify variables which affect Korean electronic commerce(EC) venture's strategies for the international market entry decision making. Especially in the perspective of quality management perspective, it is highly relevant question which factors are critical when the industry has high technology driven characteristics such as EC, product quality related factors or environmental factors. Technology competence, operational competence, local marketing competence, psychological barriers, domestic competition level, and local infrastructure level are included to generate the explaining model for international market entry decision. The result is that the higher technology competence and local marketing competence are the significant factors. The higher the perception in these factors, the higher the intention to enter the international market in EC industry. These factors play a pivotal role in determining to go abroad the foreign EC market. Our finding implies that the subjective confidence on quality of EC solution(technology competence) and venture's capability of maintaining it(local marketing competence) are the important factors, when EC ventures make the decisions to enter the foreign markets.
