침하량과 압축량을 고려한 말뚝의 설계법 개발을 위한 연구 (A Study for the Development of Pile Design Method Considering Settlement and Compression)

  • A pile is compressed with settlements when loading and bearing capacity is altered along relative displacement of pile/soil on settlement and compression. Settlements of pile displaying limit skin friction is different from displaying tip resistance. Therefore, it is an error in traditional method that bearing capacity of pile is estimated from the sum of limit skin fraction and tip resistance. Accordingly, development of design method considering behavior of load-settlement is needed. In this study, we would like to establish the base for development of design method considering bearing capacity altering along displacement on settlement and compression. For this, we established system and substance of design method. And in order to establish relationship of load-settlement of pile on the type of soil, we analyzed and arranged existing database and pile loading test. On design method, settlement is assumed gradually on each capacity level being assumed gradually. Bearing capacity developing on the pile is obtained on each settlement level. Until the obtained bearing capacity will be equal to assumed capacity, this process is continued with increasing settlement. Load-settlement curve for soil classification is sketched in the process computing settlement on assumed capacity. This design method will be materialized by computation program.

  • 얕은 기초 설계와 시공을 위해 실시하는 평판재하시험 결과로부터 실제 기초지반의 침하량을 산정하고 있는데 국내에서 많이 시공되는 화강풍화토나 풍화암에 대한 현장 예측식이 없는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 화강풍화토와 풍화암을 대상으로 현장 평판 재하시험을 실시하여 기초 크기별 침하량 거동을 분석하였다. 모형토조와 현장 재하시험에서 측정한 하중 ~ 침하 곡선을 일반적인 항복하중 판정법을 사용하지 않고 하중 ~ 상대침하(s/B, s : 침하량, B : 재하판폭) 관계로 정규화(Normalization)하여 분석하였다. 즉, 하중 ~ 상대 침하 개념으로 정규화한 결과, 재하판 직경에 관계없이 일정한 형태의 곡선을 나타내므로 현장의 지반조건과 상관성을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the settlement characteristics of large drilled shafts embedded into bed rocks. To perform this research, 35 pile load test results for the large drilled shafts are used, because these deep foundations generally used as substructure systems for grand bridges. In case of the yield load can not be easily determined by load(P)-settlement(S) curve from the pile load test at the maximum loads, the standard settlements which can determine a yield load is established. The residual settlement equation of pile embedded in gneiss and igneous rocks is presented in this study. Also a equation is proposed to characterize the relationship between loads and elastic settlements in pile load tests on the large drilled shaft embedded into bedrock. Then, large drilled shaft's settlement characteristics are examined on pile length, pile diameter and pile's socked depth into rock at the pile tip.

항타 및 매입말뚝의 하중-침하량 곡선의 분석 (Analysis of Load-Settlement Curves in Driven and Embedded Piles)

  • 매입말뚝공법으로 시공된 말뚝의 거동은 항타말뚝의 그것과는 다르고 또한 여기서 얻어지는 하중-침하량 곡선의 특성도 다름에도 불구하고 이에 대한 기본적인 고찰없이 항타공법에서 적용해 왔던 허용하중 결정방법을 그대로 매입말뚝공법에도 준용하고 있다. 국내의 관련기준에 의하면 허용지지력을 결정하는 방법들이 기준마다 서로 다르고 또한 적용 안전율도 차이가 있어 서로 상충되는 면이 있다. 본 논문에서는 106개 말뚝의 정재하시험을 통해 얻어진 하중-침하량 곡선을 분석하고 이들 결과를 공법별로 비교하였다. 분석결과 일정한 곡선을 기준하여 제시된 각종의 수학적 기법들은 허용지지력을 결정하기 위한 적절한 방법이 아님을 알 수 있었다. 또한 분석결과를 바탕으로 적절한 허용하중 판정방법 및 적용안전율을 제안하였다.

암반에 근입된 대구경 현장타설말뚝의 침하특성 (Settlement Characteristics of Large Drilled Shafts Embedded in Bed Rocks)

  • 암반에 근입된 대구경 현장타설말뚝에 대한 하중-침하량 특성을 조사하기 위하여 35개소에서 실시된 말뚝재하시험 결과를 분석하였다. 일반적으로 단단한 암반에 근입된 대구경 현장타설말뚝의 침하량은 대단히 미소하여 말뚝의 설계 시방서상에 제시된 말뚝의 전체침하량이나 잔류침하량에 대한 규정을 적용하여 극한하중을 결정할 수가 없다. 따라서 암반에 근입된 대구경 현장타설말뚝의 항복하중을 결정하기 위하여 항타말뚝을 대상으로 이전에 제시된 P-logS분석법을 적용하여 보았다. 적용결과, 이 방법은 기존의 다른 분석법인 P-S, logP-logS, S-logt 및 P-S분석법에 비하여 항복하중결정이 비교적 간편하고 정확하였다. 그리고 암반에 근입된 대구경 현장타설말뚝의 하중이 항복하중에 도달하기 전까지의 말뚝의 하중-침하량 관계를 나타낼 수 있는 회귀분석식이 제시되었다. 또한, 지지층의 종류와 암반 근입심도에 따른 말뚝의 침하거동특성도 조사하였다. 끝으로 현장말뚝재하시험결과에 대한 고찰을 통하여 암반에 근입된 현장타설말뚝의 항복하중을 결정할 수 있는 새로운 침하량 기준값이 제시되었다.

말뚝의 정재하시험을 통한 현장시험 결과 분석 (A Comparative Study on Field Tests for Driven Pile in Static Load Tests)

  • In This paper, load-settlement curves that obtained from 11 sites were analyzed. At all tests, the load is applied until apparent failure is observed. The validity of the ultimate and yield load estimation method and load calculated from the settlement criterion was investigated through comparison with the measured data. The result indicated that B. Hansen 80% criterion and Stability Plot in ultimate loading decision law almost have been regared as same by comparing measured date and ultimate bearing capacity decided in depending yield loading decision law from 13% to 46% difference have taeyaeen came out when measured data and Davisson was compared, and S-log t from 5% to 41% log P-log S from 14% to 50% difference have been came out. When Settlement standard and measured data was compared difference had been came out about 3% in total settlement 0.1D criterion and from 12% to 35% difference had been came out in net settlement.

  • Waste body settlement is an important aspect of management of landfill sites both during the operational and the post-closure phases. Settlement in landfill waste is caused by combination of load, creep and biodegradation induced effects. In this paper, settlement characteristics of closed waste landfill were studied by analyzing in situ measured data and computer simulation technique. Techniques for the analysis of load-induced and creep settlement, and for their implementation, can be adapted for landfill waste. The estimate of settlements from models shows a increase according to time.

Final Settlement Prediction Methods of Embankments on Soft Clay

  • Analyses, in which load was regarded as instant load and gradual step load, respectively, were performed with data measured on a gradually loaded field, and the results were inspected to find the effect of load conditions, and the final settlements which were predicted by Hyperbolic, Tan's, Asaoka's, and Monden's methods were compared with each other. Settlement curves in which load was regarded as instant load and gradual step load being to coincide at twice the time of duration of embankment. On the ground installed vertical drain, from the results of Hyperbolic, Tan's, Asaoka's, Monden's, Curve fitting I, and Curve fitting II (simple, carrillo) methods it was concluded that Asaoka, Curve fitting I, and Curve fitting II methods are reliable for prediction final settlement with back analysis.
