  • Recently, entomopathogenic nematodes have received a considerable attention as biologicalcontrol agents. For in vitro cultivation, storage and transportation of nematodes, oxygen supply isextremely impotant due to its limited solubility and mass transfer problem. The oxygen uptake rates(OURs) of four different Steinernema species were measured in a 5L bioreactor at varying temperatures. The OURs of the Steinernema spp. were below 0.5 x mmolO'||'&'||' . min in the range of 13-17$^{\circ}$C. TheOURs (mmo102/L - min) of S. glaseri Dongrae and S. carpocapsae Pocheon strains were 0.4 x lo-', 0.75x lo-\ulcorner at 21$^{\circ}$C, 1.5 x lo-\ulcorner, 3.2 x 10-2 at 25"C, and 2.8 x lo-', 5.8 x lo-\ulcorner at 29"C, respectively. However, the OURs were not significantly altered by the agitation speed of 50-150 rpm. The specific oxygenuptake rates (qol) of S. glaseri NC, S. glaseri Dongrae, S. glaseri Mungyeong and S. carpocapsaePocheon strains were 0.3 x 0.5 x 0.3 x and 0.2 x mmolO~/cell min at 25"C,respectively. As the nematode size and temperature were increased, the qo, was also increased.the qo, was also increased.

  • In this paper, distributed mixer is studied at microwave frequency. The circuit of distributed mixer composed of gate 1,2, drain transmission lines, matching circuits in input and output terminal, DGFET's. For impedance matching of input and output port at higher frequency, image impedance concept is introduced. In distributed mixer, a DGFET's impedances are absorbed by artificial transmission line, this type of mixer can get a very broadband characteristics compared to that of current systems. A RF/LO signal is applied to each gate input port, and are excited the drain transmission line through transcondutance of the DGFET's. The output signals from each drain port of DGFET's added in same phases. We designed and frabricated the distributed mixer, and a conversion gain, noise figure, bandwidth, LO/RF isolation of the mixer are shown through computer simulation and experimentation.

  • In this paper, the theoretical background and the specific implementation method of a compressive receiver for RFID signal detection as well as the design method of DDL(Dispersive Delay Line) and chirp LO are described. DDL, which is one of the main components of the compressive receiver, is designed to have $13{\mu}s$ dispersive delay time and 6 MHz bandwidth using the SAW technique based on $LiNbO_3$ material. The chirp LO is designed using DDS(Direct Digital Synthesizer). Also the compressive receiver is fabricated to be installed into the RFID reader. Test results show the maximum frequency error of 25 kHz for single signal input, the receiver sensitivity of -44 dBm, and the maximum frequency error is 75 kHz for 6 multi-tone input signals. These results indicate that the fabricated compressive receiver is working well even in dense RFID operating environments.

  • Currently in a Ubiquitous Sensor Network (USN) research field, supporting mobility is recognized as an important technology. MIPv6 and Network Mobility(NEMO) Basic Support Protocol are standard protocols to support mobility in the Internet. However, if they are applied to USN with no modification, handoff performance decreases due to the size of their binding message. An existing lightweight protocol for NEMO protocol has a compatibility problem of Sequence Num. and does not optimally compress binding messages considering 6LoWPAN network structure and addressing. This paper proposes optimal header compression which supports node-based mobility and network-based mobility. Our optimal compression technique compresses a 32bytes binding update(BU) message and a 12bytes binding ACK(BA) message of MIPv6 into 13bytes and 3bytes, and a 40bytes BU message and a 12bytes BA message of NEMO protocol into 13bytes and 3bytes. The result shows that our protocol compresses 15bytes (NEMO-BU) and 1byte (NEMO-BA) more than the existing protocol and achieves 8.72% handoff performance improvement.

  • Ministry of oceans and Fisheries declared action plan for the electric fishing gear using real name in order to prevent overusing the fishing gear and to reduce discarded fishing gear. It is needed for a technique that can efficiently transmit the information including the type and location of the fishing gear and the user's real name to the fishing boat and the control center using IoT-based communication. In this paper, we propose the buoy-launched terminal equipment and ship-launched gateway equipment based on LoRa technology for effectively executing the electric fishing gear using real name. We design and fabricate to communicate 1(gateway):200(buoy) each other under 900 MHz ISM band by using SEMTECH SX1276 chip. Also, we experiment the test on the sea and analyze the test results to prove the implementation possibility of the proposed equipments for the electric fishing gear using real name.

  • This paper presents a novel balanced mixer receiver front-end design based on a metamaterial structure applicable to differential-/common-mode excitation. This metamaterial structure functions as a leaky-wave antenna and provides in-trinsic common-mode suppression. Low LO leakage and high RF to LO isolation are achieved without additional filters for LO and RF paths. The metamaterial is based on a unit-cell which under a differential-mode excitation behaves like a composite right/left-handed(CRLH) metamaterial. In contrast, the metamaterial unit-cell is below cut-off under a common-mode excitation. Experimental results are used to verify the proposed metamaterial's differential-/common-mode characteristics. The metamaterial is integrated with a balanced mixer design resulting in an operation frequency range of $1.96{\sim}2.40$ GHz with an optimum mixer conversion loss of 21.1 dB at 2,4 GHz.

  • In order to realize IoT(Internet of Things) service, it is necessary to manage sensing data and build a service with respect to its scalability. However, existing internet services use unique protocols and non-standardized functions for each service provider, and it is difficult to provide data management and service because they use short-range communication technology such as Bluetooth. In addition, plurality of APs and gateways must be taken into consideration in establishing a wide area network. In this paper, we propose a sensing data management system using LoRa(Long Range) communication based on Mobius platform. The end device that drives Tas is configured to collect sensing data, configure an application gateway that drives &Cube, and transmit sensing data to the server. In addition, a server that manages the Mobius is configured to handle the sensing data transmitted from the application gateway to provide a monitoring service. We establish a wide area network through LoRa communication between the end device and the gateway and provide data management and service corresponding to the internet through the Mobius platform.

  • This study introduces and experimentally validates a novel approach that combines Instruction fine-tuning and Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) fine-tuning to optimize the performance of Large Language Models (LLMs). These models have become revolutionary tools in natural language processing, showing remarkable performance across diverse application areas. However, optimizing their performance for specific domains necessitates fine-tuning of the base models (FMs), which is often limited by challenges such as data complexity and resource costs. The proposed approach aims to overcome these limitations by enhancing the performance of LLMs, particularly in the analysis precision and efficiency of national Research and Development (R&D) data. The study provides theoretical foundations and technical implementations of Instruction fine-tuning and LoRA fine-tuning. Through rigorous experimental validation, it is demonstrated that the proposed method significantly improves the precision and efficiency of data analysis, outperforming traditional fine-tuning methods. This enhancement is not only beneficial for national R&D data but also suggests potential applicability in various other data-centric domains, such as medical data analysis, financial forecasting, and educational assessments. The findings highlight the method's broad utility and significant contribution to advancing data analysis techniques in specialized knowledge domains, offering new possibilities for leveraging LLMs in complex and resource-intensive tasks. This research underscores the transformative potential of combining Instruction fine-tuning with LoRA fine-tuning to achieve superior performance in diverse applications, paving the way for more efficient and effective utilization of LLMs in both academic and industrial settings.

  • In this in this thesis, we have proposed the Kor-231 which compared with Hata by dividing 4 classes and 8 details, which based on that the area subdivision which is defined by the City planning Regulation of Korea classified on its rate of building-to-land, floor area and distance between buliding and botanical coefficient. The experiments are carried out at the point of the RMS delay spread and the recerived power in the two kinds of geographical areas, LOS(Line of Sight) and N-LOS(Non Line of Sight). When the measured result is compared with Kor-231 model, we can catch the result that received power are 25.5dB and 14.5dB, the RMS delay spread are 101ns and 35ns and N-LOS received power are 4.1dB and 1.6dB. So we have certified that it is well due to the result analyzed into the difference of the RMS delay spread from 74ns to 200ns.
