유압관로에서 비정상유동의 압력전파특성 (Propagation Characteristics of Pressure Pulse of Unsteady Flow in n Hydraulic Pipeline)

  • Flow of fluid has been studied in various fields of fluid engineering. To hydraulic engineers, the unsteady flow such as pulsation and liquid hammering in pipes has been considered as a serious trouble. So we are supposed to approach the formalized mathematical model by using more exact momentum equation for fluid transmission lines. Most of recent studies fur pipe line have been studied without considerations of variation of viscosity and temperature, which are the main factors of pressure loss causing the friction of fluid inside pipe line. Frequency response experiments are carried out with use of a rotary sinusoidal flow generator to investigate wave equation take into account viscosity and temperature. But we observed that measured value of gains are reduced as temperature increased. And it was respectively observed that the measured value of gains are reduced and line width of gain is broadened out, when temperature was high in the same condition. As we confessed, pressure loss and phase delay are closely related with the length, diameter and temperature of pipe line. In addition, they are the most important factors, when we decide the momentum energy of working fluid.

생물공정 모니터링을 위한 광섬유 포도당 및 젖산 센서의 개발 (Development of Optical Fiber Glucose and Lactate Biosensors for Bioprocess Monitoring)

  • In this work the optical fiber glucose and lactate biosensors were developed by using fluorescent dye and enzyme immobilized on the end tip of an optical fiber. 3-Glycidyloxypropyl)methyldiethoxysilane (GPTMS), (3-Aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane (APTMS) and Methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMS) were used to immobilize glucose oxidase (GOD), lactate oxidase (LOD) and ruthenium(II) complex (tris(4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline) ruthenium(II), $Ru(dpp)_3^{2+}$) as oxygen sensitive fluorescent dye. MTMS sol-gel was an excellent supporting material for the immobilization of $Ru(dpp)_3^{2+}$, GOD, and LOD on the optical fiber. Storage stability of the optical fiber glucose sensor was kept constant over 20 days, while the optical fiber lactate sensor had constant storage stability over 17 days. The optical fiber glucose and lactate biosensors also maintained good operational stability for 20 hours and 14 hours, respectively. The activities of the immobilized enzymes were most excellent at pH 7 and at $25^{\circ}C$. On-line monitoring of glucose and lactate in a simulated process was performed with the optical fiber glucose and lactate biosensors. On-line monitoring results were agreed with those of off-line data measured with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).

Quantitative Analysis of Seven Triazine Herbicides by On-Line Micellar Electrokinetic Chromatography-Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry

  • This paper presents a successful demonstration of the on-line coupling of MEKC (micellar electrokinetic chromatography) to ESIMS (electrospray ionization mass spectrometry) for the quantitative analysis of seven s-triazine herbicides. The on-line MEKC-ESIMS was used to determine the structure of CE-separated peaks of seven triazine herbicides. The mixture of triazine herbicides was separated in a 20 mM sodium borate buffer (pH 8.5) containing 15 mM sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) by using a bare fused-silica capillary. Electrospray ionization mass spectrometer was operated in the positive-ion mode when the mass spectra of seven triazine herbicides were observed from each peak, and the solution of water-methanol-formic acid (50/49/1 v/v/v) was used as a sheath liquid. The effects of SDS concentration, the run buffer pH, and the electric field on the separation of seven s-triazine herbicides were investigated. The MEKC-ESIMS detection showed 5 to 10 times higher sensitivity compared to the MEKC-UV detection. In addition, it did not need any pretreatment step.

Constructing Proteome Reference Map of the Porcine Jejunal Cell Line (IPEC-J2) by Label-Free Mass Spectrometry

  • In this study, the global proteome of the IPEC-J2 cell line was evaluated using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to a quadrupole Q Exactive Orbitrap mass spectrometer. Proteins were isolated from highly confluent IPEC-J2 cells in biological replicates and analyzed by label-free mass spectrometry prior to matching against a porcine genomic dataset. The results identified 1,517 proteins, accounting for 7.35% of all genes in the porcine genome. The highly abundant proteins detected, such as actin, annexin A2, and AHNAK nucleoprotein, are involved in structural integrity, signaling mechanisms, and cellular homeostasis. The high abundance of heat shock proteins indicated their significance in cellular defenses, barrier function, and gut homeostasis. Pathway analysis and annotation using the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes database resulted in a putative protein network map of the regulation of immunological responses and structural integrity in the cell line. The comprehensive proteome analysis of IPEC-J2 cells provides fundamental insights into overall protein expression and pathway dynamics that might be useful in cell adhesion studies and immunological applications.

Rapid Identification of Radical Scavenging Compounds in Blueberry Extract by HPLC Coupled to an On-line ABTS Based Assay and HPLC-ESI/MS

  • This study employed high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled to an on-line $ABTS^+$ radical scavenging detection (RSD) system along with HPLC-electro spin impact/mass spectrometry (ESI/MS), to rapidly determine and identify antioxidant compounds occurring in blueberry extract. The extract was separated by HPLC, and then the radical scavenging activities of the separated compounds were evaluated by the on-line coupled $ABTS^+$-RSD system. The negative peaks of the $ABTS^+$-RSD system, which indicates the presence of antioxidant activity, were monitored by measuring the decrease in absorbance at 734 nm. The active components in the blueberry extract were identified by HPLC-ESI/MS using their MS spectra and retention times. According to the data acquired from the on-line HPLC-$ABTS^+$-based assay and HPLC-ESI/MS systems, the antioxidant compounds detected in the blueberry extract were identified as chlorogenic acid and 11 anthocyanins.

액상소화제가 법랑질 부식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Digestive Medicine on Enamel Erosion)

  • 액상소화제의 법랑질 부식능을 알아보기 위하여 마트에서 쉽게 구입할 수 있는 2종의 액상소화제와 약국에서 판매하는 1종의 액상소화제 그리고 대조군으로 생수를 선정하였다. 음료의 pH와 적정산도를 측정하고, 시편을 제작하여 음료에 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 30분을 침지한 후 나타나는 양상을 표면 미세 경도계로 측정하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 대조군인 생수를 제외한 모든 액상소화제의 pH가 4.0 이하로 나타났으며 위청수에서 $2.93{\pm}0.00$으로 가장 낮았다. pH 5.5로 변환하는 데 필요한 적정산도 또한 위청수에서 1.27 ml로 가장 높게 나타났다. 모든 액상소화제에서 침지시간이 증가함에 따라 표면경도가 감소하였으며 음료 30분 처리 후 표면 경도값은 위청수에서 $207.80{\pm}15.52$ VHN으로 가장 낮았고, 까스활명수 $216.86{\pm}4.01$, 생록천 $223.28{\pm}9.56$ 순이었다. 실험에 사용된 모든 액상소화제는 치아 법랑질에 부식을 유발하였으며, 음료처리 후에 pH가 가장 낮고 적정산도가 가장 높은 위청수에서 가장 낮은 표면 경도 값을 보여 실험에 사용된 액상소화제 중 가장 많은 법랑질 부식을 유발하였다. 따라서 액상소화제의 섭취는 법랑질표면경도를 감소시켜 치아 부식을 유발할 수 있으므로 이에 대한 대처방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

전면광원(Front Light)을 적용한 액정 X선 검출기 개발 (Development of X-ray Detector using Liquid Crystal with Front Light)

  • 액정을 이용하는 X-선 검출기에서 전면광원을 적용하는 액정 X선 검출기를 제안하였고 X선 영상을 찍어 작동을 확인하였다. 제안한 방식은 빛을 이용하므로 트랜지스터를 이용하는 방식에 비해 잡음이 적고 제작 비용을 낮출 수 있다. 액정을 이용하는 검출기는 광도전층을 이용하여 입사 X선을 액정의 분자 배열 변화로 유도하고 액정을 통과하는 빛의 변화량을 읽도록 한다. X선을 조사하고 잰 빛의 투과율과 이것에 대응되는 기준투과율 곡선의 전압으로부터 X선 조사량을 교정(Calibration)하는 과정을 정립하였다. 비정질 셀레늄을 광도전층으로 적용하였으며 200℃ 이상의 고온 처리가 필요한 배향막 공정 대신 패럴린 배향막을 사용하는 공정을 확립하였다. 제안된 액정 X선 검출기의 경우, 방사선량을 획기적으로 줄일 수 있다는 것을 시뮬레이션으로 보였다. 제안된 방식의 X-선 검출기를 제작하고 액정 바이어스 전압을 조절하며 X-선 라인 영상을 비교하였으며 고정 바이어스에서 시간에 따른 이미지 변화를 관찰하였다. 영상사진으로 10 lines/mm의 선패턴을 구별할 수 있었다. 이러한 실험을 바탕으로 검출 패널의 위상이 3π 정도인 17인치 시제품에 적용하여 저선량 액정 X선 검출기의 상용화를 추진할 예정이다.

  • 액체 추진 로켓 엔진에서 연소실로 향하는 산화제 공급은 연소기 산화제 개폐밸브에 의해서 제어된다. 산화제의 안정적인 공급을 위하여 밸브가 열려있을 때의 유량조건을 만족해야 할 뿐만 아니라, 산화제 공급라인의 예냉을 위해 밸브가 닫혀있을 때에도 요구되는 유량조건을 만족해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 연소기 산화제 개폐밸브의 재순환 유량특성을 확인하기 위한 시험을 수행하였고, 밸브 내부에 작용하는 힘평형 관계식을 이용하여 극저온 수명시험 이후 스프링 상수가 변화하는 경향을 확인하였다.

액-가스 열교환기를 이용한 R170(에탄)용 냉동시스템의 성능 특성 (Performance Characteristics of Refrigerant R170(Ethane) Refrigeration System Using Liquid-gas Heat Exchanger)

  • This paper considers the influence of internal heat exchangers to the efficiency of a refrigerating system using R170. These liquid-gas heat exchangers(internal or suction-line heat exchangers) can, in some cases, yield improved system performance while in other cases they degrade system performance. A steady state mathematical model is used to analysis the performance characteristics of refrigeration system with internal heat exchanger. The influence of operating conditions, such as the mass flowrate of R170, inner diameter tube and length of internal heat exchanger, to optimal dimensions of the heat exchanger is also analyzed in the paper. The main results were summarized as follows : the mass flowrate of R170, inner diameter tube and length of internal heat exchanger, and effectiveness have an effect on the cooling capacity, compressor work and RCI(Relative Capacity Index) of this system. Exception for the effect of inner diameter, the RCI of R170 with respect to refrigerant mass flowrate, the length and effectiveness of internal heat exchanger is about 2.1~3.3% higher than that of R13 at the same experimental conditions. With a thorough grasp of these effect, it is necessary to design the R170 compression refrigeration cycle using internal heat exchanger.

액체로켓엔진 배관 김발 신축 이음 모멘트 평가 (Moment Evaluations of Gimbal Expansion Joints for Liquid Rocket Engine Propellant Pipes)

  • 액체로켓엔진 고압 배관의 김발 신축이음은 고압에서 반복적인 회전 변위를 받게 된다. 본 연구에서는 고압에서 내부형 김발 신축이음의 모멘트 해석 및 시험을 수행하였다. 해석적으로 스프링 강성, 마찰과 측력에 의한 모멘트 값을 각각 구하고 시험으로 얻어진 전체 모멘트 값과 비교하였다. 또한 외부형 힌지 신축이음에 대하여 회전 핀에 이황화몰리브덴 코팅을 적용하여 저압에서 갈링 현상이 없어지고 마찰 계수가 감소하는 것을 확인하였다.
