Up to date, it is difficult to estimate the consistence of properties on the epoxy liner in service time because an estimation of the long term environment-deterioration with aging has not been processed. In the study, the estimation on epoxy liner is carried by the physical test 7 rounds. There are the elongation the and the crack bridging test in the part of physical tests. An elongation test is carried out with epoxy membrane and a crack bridging test is carried out with specimen painted epoxy on concrete. The subjects of test and estimation are a containment quality system and a fibre-glass reinforced system. The materials of these systems are a Robber added Epoxy, a Silica added Epoxy, and a Fiber reinforced Epoxy. Ensuring the test data, properties of epoxy liner was estimated and the change of properties was predicted on epoxy liners.
This study was investigated to compare the staining resistance of soft denture liners. Specimens were made of Coe-soft, Coe-comfort, Soft-liner, Visco-gel, and were stored in 1% methyleneblue solution for 24 hours. The amounts of color change before and after treatment with mono-poly and thermocycling were measured by colorimeter(TC-6FX, Tokyo Denshoku Co. Ltd, Japan) for evaluation of staining resistance. The following conclusions were drawn from this study. 1. The staining resistance of Visco-gel was increased, but there was no changes of staining resistance in Coe-soft, Coe-comfort, and Soft-liner after treatment with monopoly. 2. The staining resistance of the Coe-comfort was the least in all soft denture liners. 3. The staining resistance of Visco-gel and Soft-liner were decreased after thermocycling.

This paper presents the numerical thermal analysis for regeneratively cooled rocket thrust chambers. An integrated numerical model incorporates computational fluid dynamics for the hot-gas thermal environment, and thermal analysis for the liner and coolant channels. The flow and temperature fields in rocket thrust chambers is assumed to be axisymmetric steady state which is presumed to the combustion liner. The heat flux computed from nozzle flow is used to predict the temperature distribution of the combustion liner As a result, we present the wall temperature of combustion liner and the temperature change of coolant.

High-temperature components of gas turbine operated for certain period of time can be reused by being repaired or rejuvenated. In case of the gas turbine combustion liners, the biggest and the most important one in the high-temperature components, come in a repair shop after operated for 8,000 or 12,000 hours according to the model and go through the repair and rejuvenation in order to be reused. A stated combustion liner is the first channel which has the combustion gas reached a nozzle from a fuel nozzle. Materials and coating properties of old and new model combustion liners were investigated. To repair these components after the visual inspection, the coatings of combustion liners were removed and then FPI(Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection), a kind of the NDI(Non-Destructive Inspection), was conducted. Damage patterns and the number of the damaged components were classified and analyzed based on data provided from the visual inspection over a long period of time. Focusing on the difference between old model and new model combustion liners, we analyzed the damage distribution and changes and consequently concluded that new model combustion liner would increase repair rate.
This study analyzes how the port connectivity network has changed with the restructuring of the liner shipping alliance and explores the impact of these changes on network characteristics using social network analysis (SNA). While due to economies of scale, the scale of ports and liner shipping has expanded, the goal of shipping companies has changed to achieve cost-effectiveness due to the diseconomies of scale. Such changes in the environment have greatly affected ports according to the strategies of major liner alliances, and port centrality has shifted in response to restructuring in strategic alliances. This research confirmed that port centrality has continuously changed, and the reason for this phenomenon was analyzed through the derived main network centrality indices. This finding provides significant implications for port authorities and terminal operators to consider different perspectives when planning for sustainable growth and management.

This paper proposes a trajectory constrol fo a robot manipulator by using neural network. The inverse dynamic model of manipuator is learned by neural network. The manipulator is controlled by weight values of the learned neural network. The weight valuese is change with a torque of liner vontroller and a acceleration error. Phsically, the totlal torque for a manipualator is a sum of the liner controller torque and the nerural network controller torque. The proposed control effect is estimated by computer simulation.
Low-temperature characteristics according to internal temperature conditions during rotational molding of Type 4 pressure vessel liners were studied in this paper. Since rotational molding has a sensitive effect on the formability of the liner depending on the temperature conditions, the temperature conditions for the polyamide used should be accurately set. The structural changes of polyamide as the liner material was analyzed the surface by atomic force microscope (AFM), and the crystallinity measured with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) is used to evaluate the change of the mechanical strength value at low temperature. In addition, the formability of the liner was confirmed by observation of the yellow index inside the liner. As a result, as the melting range of the internal temperature becomes wider, the yellow index shows a lower value, and the elongation and impact characteristics at low temperatures are improved. It was also confirmed that the structure of the polyamide was uniform and the crystallinity was high by AFM and DSC. These experimental results contribute to the improvement of characteristics at low temperatures due to changes in temperature conditions during rotational molding.

As a part of the development of aircraft gas turbines, combustion performance tests have been conducted in the single combustor sector. The effects of change in the amount of air supplied to the main combustion zone to the performance of the combustor, such as a pollutant emission, a liner temperature distribution and an exit temperature patterns, were studied. Emissions of CO and NOx increased with the main air-ratio and exit temperature pattern was improved. When changing the pattern of the dilution holes, it was shown that the temperature patterns on the exit plane of the combustor and the surface of liner changed depending on the main flame structure and mixing with diluent air. These observations will be applied to combustor liner designs to improve combustor durability and emissions reduction performance.

When microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi are injected into porous medium such as soils along with appropriate substrate and nutrients, biomass retained in the soil pore. Soil pore size and shape are varied from the initial condition as a result of biofilm formation, which make hydraulic conductivity reduced. In this research, hydraulic conductivity reduction was measured after microorganism are inoculated and cultured with synthetic substrates and nutrients. Biomass-soil mixture was evaluated its applicability to the field condition as an alternative liner material in landfill by measuring hydraulic conductivity change after repetitive freeze-thaw cycles.
Based on the results of Part 1 of our two-parts paper, the possibility on field applicability of CMDS(Coal Mine Drainage Sludge) mixed with bentonite and cement as a liner in landfill sites was investigated. The optimum moisture content that met the landfill liner condition was obtained when the ratio of CMDS: bentonite: cement was 1: 0.5: 0.3 in a lab-scale. The relative compaction was measured in 90.1%, which results for construction field have been generally acceptable. In this study, a large-scale Lysimeter($1.0m{\times}1.5m{\times}2.0m$) was used to simulate the effects of the layer on the freeze/thaw by -20 average temperature. The mixture after freezing/thawing showed compressive strength more than $5kg/cm^2$, which was satisfied with EPA standards. Initial permeability of CMDS was $7.10{\times}10^{-7}cm/s$ and permeability its mixture after freezing/thawing was increased to $9.80{\times}10^{-7}cm/s$. The change of temperature in the layers rises and falls with linear and temperature gradient keep maintain the present state. Moisture contents in the layers have not been radically changed. Through the leaching test determined by KSLT method, it was found that heavy metals excluding Zn and Ni were not leached out or leached out less than the standards during 7 cycles of freezing/thawing process. Since it shows the increased permeability about 1.5 times and slight change in moisture content, but it was satisfied with EPA standar through 7 cycles of freezing/thawing process, this mixture can be applied as a liner in landfill final cover system.
