수중운동체의 심도제어를 위한 제어기 설계 (Controller design for depth control of vehicle under seawater)

  • In order to hold a underwater vehicle at a depth, we can modulate buoyancy that acts on the underwater vehicle. In this research, by using a ballon, we was able to generate buoyancy that could control depth in which vehicle was operate. And in order to control flux of air that was flowed in balloon, we used solenoid valve, relief valve and so on. We derived differential equations of volume of balloon, pressure of inside of balloon, dynamic of underwater vehicle, and air flux for the simulation and linearized these differential equation. So we designed LQG/LTR controller, and applied the controller to nonlinear system. Through the simulation, we compares the nonlinear system with the linear system and investigated the operation of solenoid valve.

Mathematical Algorithms for Two-Dimensional Positioning Based on GPS Pseudorange Technique

  • Recently, one has realized that the threedimensional positioning technique used in GPS can be effectively applied to the modern two-dimensional positioning. Such a technique might has applied to the twodimensional positioning in fields of the mobile communication, eLORAN and the GPS jamming/ electronic warfare system. In the paper, we have studied on algorithms for two-dimensional positioning based on GPS Pseudorange Technique. The main works and results are summarized below. First, the linearized state equation was mathematically derived based on GPS pseudorange technique. Second, the geometry model with respect to triangles formed using unit-vectors were proposed for investigation of land-based radio positioning. Finally, the corresponding mathematical formulations for DOP values and covariance matrix were designed for two-dimensional positioning.

  • This paper presents a method for designing an autopilot of the BTT missile using 2DOF Wiener-Hopf control technique to improve tracking performance. Linear controllers are designed based on the linearized models which are obtained from the nonlinear missile dynamic equations at various operating points. The gain scheduling technique is used to implement the final autopilot. A simulation on the flight of missiles is carried out through the use of 6DOF equation program including exact nonlinear equations of the missile and the variations of aerodynamic variables in order to check applicability of the suggested method in real situation.

  • The stability of flows induced by a surface acoustic wave (SAW) propagating along the deformable walls in a confined parallel-plane microchannel or slab in the laminar flow regime is investigated. The governing equation which was derived by considering the nonlinear coupling between the deformable or waving interface and viscous fluids is linearized and then the problem is solved by a verified code based on the spectral method together with the associated interface and boundary conditions. The value of the critical Reynolds number was found to be near 1439 which is much smaller than the rigid-wall case: 5772 for conventional pressure-driven flows.

  • This paper is concerned with the bubble sound at the accumulator which is generated by the difference of the high pressure side and the low pressure side in the cycle of the refrigerator. The causes of the bubble sound generation are verified by the visualized test of the operating refrigerant flow at the accumulator and the measurements of the temperature and pressure. Two cases were tested, one with the accumulator has a orifice and the other with the accumulator hasn't a orifice. So that, it is presented the comparison of the bubble sound levels and spectrums in each cases. To predict the bubble sizes when they are generated, the linearized equation driven by Strasberg is used.

  • This paper presents the nonlinear characteristics of the oil lubricated hydrodynamic journal bearing. The traditional approach is to characterize the behavior and performance of fluid film hydrodynamic journal bearings by means of linearized bearing analysis. The objective of this paper is to examine the nonlinear characteristics of the journal bearing when an external sinusoidal shock is given to the system. The oil film force is obtained by solving the finite width Reynolds equation at each time step by the solution of the column method. Frequency response function and journal orbit obtained from both linear and nonlinear bearing simulations are compared with each other.

  • The electrooptic properties of the reflected light in a reflective mode, $45^{\circ}C$twisted nematic liquid crystal (TNLC) cell were investigated in the voltage regions near and away from the Freedericksz transition threshold. The measured reflectivity away from the threshold voltage ($V_th$) could not be described by the model which assurnes a constant tilt angle as well as a linearized distribution of twist angle across the cell, although the data are well fitted near $V_th$. We found that in the voltage region away from $V_th$, the model considering the distributions of the tilt angle and the twist angle should be applied for the calculation of the reflectivity. The director-axis distributions were obtained from the numerical integration of the Euler-Lagrange equation.

공기압 구동장치를 이용한 정밀위치제어 (Accurate Positioning with a Pneumatic Driving Apparatus)

  • The accurate position control of pneumatic driving apparatus is considered in this paper. In pneumatically actuated positioning systems, accurate positioning as an electrical servo has been known to be difficult because of the friction force and compressibility of the air. For good control performance of the pneumatic system, an actuator mounted with externally pressurized air bearings is produced to compensate for friction force. For the controller design, the governing equation of the pneumatic driving apparatus is derived. In order to reduce the nonlinear characteristics of the control valve, linearized control input is derived from the relation between the effective area of the valve and the control input. The experimental results are presented to show the results of the improved position control of the pneumatic driving apparatus.

  • 본 논문은 Custom Power의 입력 전압 Sag 보상을 위해 사용되는 PWM Boost AC-AC 컨버터의 정적 특성 및 동적 특성의 모델링 및 해석을 다룬다. 특히 회로 DQ 변환 기법을 사용하여 기본파 영역에서 시스템의 특성을 모두 포함하는 등가회로를 구하고, 전압이득과 입력역률에 대한 해석적인 결과를 도출한다. 또한, 제어의 관점에서 유용한 일정한 동작점 하에서의 선형화된 상태방정식을 구한다. 끝으로, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 등가회로 모델링과 해석이 타당함을 확인하였다.

  • This paper is concerned with a transfer alignment method for the SDINS(StrapDown Inertial Navigation System) under ship motions. Major error sources of transfer alignment are data transfer time-delay, lever-arm velocity and ship body flexure. Specifically, to reduce alignment errors induced by measurement time-delay effects, the error compensation method through delay state augmentation is suggested. A linearized error model for the velocity and attitude matching transfer alignment system is first derived by linearizing the nonlinear measurement equation with respect to its time delay and augmenting the delay state into the conventional linear state equations. And then it is shown via observability analysis and computer simulations that the delay state can be estimated and compensated during ship motions resulting in considerably less alignment errors.
