Robust and Non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ Decentralized Fuzzy Model Control Method for Nonlinear Interconnected System with Time Delay (시간지연을 가지는 비선형 상호연결시스템의 견실비약성 $H_{\infty}$ 분산 퍼지모델 제어기법)

  • In general, due to the interactions among subsystems, it is difficult to design an decentralized controller for nonlinear interconnected systems. In this study, the model of nonlinear interconnected systems is studied via decentralized fuzzy control method with time delay and polytopic uncertainty. First, the nonlinear interconnected system is represented by an equivalent Takagi-Sugeno type fuzzy model. And the represented model can be rewritten as Parameterized Linear Matrix Inequalities(PLMIs), that is, LMIs whose coefficients are functions of a parameter confined to a compact set. We show that the resulting fuzzy controller guarantees the asymptotic stability and disturbance attenuation of the closed-loop system in spite of controller gain variations within a resulted polytopic region by example and simulations.

  • This paper presents the robust stability analysis and design methodology of the fuzzy feedback linearization control systems. Uncertainty and disturbances with known bounds are assumed to be included Un the Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy models representing the nonlinear plants. $L_2$ robust stability of the closed system is analyzed by casting the systems into the diagonal norm bounded linear differential inclusions (DNLDI) formulation. Based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) optimization programming, a numerical method for finding the maximum stable ranges of the fuzzy feedback linearization control gains is also proposed. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, the robust stability analysis and control design examples are given.

Reliable Control for Linear Dynamic Systems with Time-varying Delays and Randomly Occurring Disturbances (시변지연 및 임의 발생 외란이 존재하는 선형 동적 시스템의 신뢰성 제어)

  • In this paper, the problem of reliable control of linear systems with time-varying delays, randomly occurring disturbances, and actuator failures is investigated. It is assumed that actuator failures occur when disturbances affect to the systems. Firstly, by using a suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and some recent techniques such as Wirtinger-based integral inequality and reciprocally convex approach, stabilization criterion for nominal systems with time-varying delays is derived. Secondly, the proposed method is extended to the reliable $H_{\infty}$ controller design for linear dynamic systems with time-varying delays, randomly occurring disturbances, and actuator failures. Since nonlinear matrix inequalities (NLMIs) are involved in proposed results, the cone complementarity algorithm will be introduced. Finally, two numerical examples are included to show the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.

  • A systematic output tracking control design technique for robust control of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with norm bounded uncertainties is developed. The uncertain T-S fuzzy system is first represented as a set of uncertain local linear systems. The tracking problem is then converted into the stabilization problem for a set of uncertain local linear systems thereby leading to a more feasible controller design procedure. A sufficient condition for robust asymptotic output tracking is derived in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities. A stability condition on the traversing time instances is also established. The output tracking control simulation for a flexible-joint robot-arm model is demonstrated, to convincingly show the effectiveness of the proposed system modeling and controller design.

  • The descriptor system model has a high ability in representing dynamical systems. It can preserve physical parameters in the coefficient matrices, and describe the dynamic part, static part, and even the improper part of the system in the same form. The design of mixed $H_{2}/H_{\infty}$ controllers for linear time-invariant descriptor systems is considered in this paper. Firstly, an $H_2$ and $H_{\infty}$ synthesis problems fur a descriptor system are presented separately in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) based on the bounded real lemma. Then, we show that the existence of a mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ controller by which the $H_2$ norm of the second channel is minimized while keeping the $H_2$ norm bound of the first channel less than ${\gamma}$, is reduced to the linear objective minimization problem. The class of desired controllers that are assumed to have the same structure as the plant is parameterized by using the linearizing change of variables.

  • In this paper, we describe the synthesis of robust and non-fragile $H^{\infty}$ state feedback controllers for linear systems with affine parameter uncertain tracking servo system of blu-ray disc drive, as well as static state feedback controller with polytopic uncertainty Similarity any other control system, the objective of the track-following system design for optical disc drives is to construct the system with better performance and robustness against modeling uncertainties and various disturbances.   • This paper addresses an intelligent digital redesign (IDR) technique for observer-based output-feedback control systems, in order to efficiently convert a pre-designed Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model-based analog controller into a sampled-data one in the sense of state matching. A delta operator is used to get an asymptotic relation between the analog and the sampled-data control systems. The IDR problem is viewed as a minimization problem of the norm distances between linear operator to be matched. The condition is represented as linear matrix inequalities, and the separation principle on the IDR is shown.

  • 본 논문에서는 연상 메모리 기능을 수행하는 셀룰라 신경망(Cellular Neural Netowork)의 설계를 위한 새로운 방법론을 제안한다. 먼저, 셀룰라 신경망 모델의 기본적 특성들을 소개한 후, 최적 성능을 가지고 이진 원형 패턴들을 저장할 수 있는 셀룰라 신경망 모델의 설계 방법을 제약 조건이 가해진 최적화 문제로 공식화한다. 다음으로 이 문제의 제약 조건을 선형 행렬 부등식(Linear Matrix Inequalities)을 포함하는 부등식의 형태로 변환시킬 수 있음을 관찰한다. 마지막으로 셀룰라 신경망 최적 설계 문제를 내부점 방법(interior point method)에 의해 효율적으로 풀릴 수 있는 일반화된 교유값 문제(Generalized Eigen Value Problem)로 변환하고 설계 예제를 통해 제안된 방법의 유효성을 검증한다.

  • H₂ controller is proposed for networked control systems with time-varying delay. The time-varying network delay is assumed to be unknown, but its lower and upper bounds are assumed to be known. The time-varying delay is treated like a parameter variation and robust control technique is used to deal with the time-varying delay. The proposed controller can be computed by solving linear matrix inequalities. Through numerical simulations, the proposed controller is verified.

  • In this paper, a new dual-rate digital control technique for the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy system is suggested. The proposed method takes account of the stabilizablity of the discrete-time T-S fuzzy system at the fast-rate sampling points. Our main idea is to utilize the lifted control input. The proposed approach is to obtain the dual-rate discrete-time T-S fuzzy system by discretizing the overall dynamics of the T-S fuzzy system with the lifted control, and then to derive the sufficient conditions for the stabilization in the sense of the Lyapunov asymptotic stability for this system. An example is provided for showing the feasibility of the proposed discretization method.
