  • We study the properties of positivity of matrices and construct useful positive matrices. As an application, we consider a directed graph with matrices such that all the associated matrices related to the positive linear functional are positive.

  • We prove a functional central limit theorem for a linear random field generated by negatively associated multi-dimensional random variables. Under finite second moment condition we extend the result in Kim, Ko and Choi[Kim,T.S, Ko,M.H and Choi, Y.K.,2008. The invariance principle for linear multi-parameter stochastic processes generated by associated fields. Statist. Probab. Lett. 78, 3298-3303] to the negatively associated case.

  • Let{Xt}be an m-dimensional linear process of the form (equation omitted), where{Zt}is a sequence of stationary m-dimensional weakly associated random vectors with EZt = O and E∥Zt∥$^2$$\infty$. We Prove central limit theorems for multivariate linear processes generated by weakly associated random vectors. Our results also imply a functional central limit theorem.

  • The aim of this paper, investigated of weighted space which contained the unbounded functions which is to be approximated by linear operators in terms some Well-known approximation tools such as the modulus of smoothness and K-functional. The characteristics of the identical theorem between modulus of smoothness and K-functional are consider. In addition to the establish the direct, converse and identical theorem by using some linear operators in terms modulus Ditzian-Totik.

  • In this paper, we introduce a semi-metric on a normed almost linear space X via functional. And we prove that a normed almost linear space X is complete if and only if $V_X$ and $W_X$ are complete when X splits as X=$W_X$ + $V_X$. Also, we prove that the dual space $X^\ast$ of a normed almost linear space X is complete.

  • The entropy production in a non-equilibrium state based on the reversible Oregonator model of the Belousov-Zhabotinskii (BZ) reaction system has been studied. The reaction affinity and the reaction rate for the individual steps have been calculated by varying the concentrations of key variables in the system. The result shows a linear relationship between the reaction affinity and the reaction rate in the given concentration range. However, the overall entropy calculated on the basic assumption that the entropy in a reaction system corresponds to the summation of a product of reaction affinity and reaction rate of individual steps shows a nonlinearity of the reaction system. The results well agrees with the fact that the entropy production is not linear or complicated function in a non-linear reaction system.

  • A linear functional T on a $Fr{\acute{e}}echet$ algebra (A, (pn)) is called almost multiplicative with respect to the sequence ($p_n$), if there exists ${\varepsilon}{\geq}0$ such that ${\mid}Tab-TaTb{\mid}{\leq}{\varepsilon}p_n(a)p_n(b)$ for all $n{\in}\mathbb{N}$ and for every $a,b{\in}A$. We show that an almost multiplicative linear functional on a $Fr{\acute{e}}echet$ algebra is either multiplicative or it is continuous, and hence every almost multiplicative linear functional on a functionally continuous $Fr{\acute{e}}echet$ algebra is continuous.

  • Let {${\xi}_k,\;k\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{Z}}$} be a strictly stationary associated sequence of H-valued random variables with $E{\xi}_k\;=\;0$ and $E{\parallel}{\xi}_k{\parallel}^2\;<\;{\infty}$ and {$a_k,\;k\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{Z}}$} a sequence of linear operators such that ${\sum}_{j=-{\infty}}^{\infty}\;{\parallel}a_j{\parallel}_{L(H)}\;<\;{\infty}$. For a linear process $X_k\;=\;{\sum}_{j=-{\infty}}^{\infty}\;a_j{\xi}_{k-j}$ we derive that {$X_k} fulfills the functional central limit theorem.

  • We construct high-degree interpolation rules using not only pointwise values of a function but also of its derivatives up to the p-th order at equally spaced nodes on a closed and bounded interval of interest by introducing a linear functional from which we produce systems of linear equations. The linear systems will lead to a conclusion that the rules are uniquely determined for the nodes. An example is provided to compare the rules with the classical interpolating polynomials.
