노선 계획을 고려한 철도 선로 용량 배분 최적화 모형 및 해법 (An Efficient Model and Algorithm to Allocate Rail Track Capacity Considering Line Plans)

  • 최근 복수의 철도 운송 사업자를 고려한 효율적인 선로 용량 할당 체계에 대한 관심이 증대하고 있다. 선로 용량 배분 체계란 제한된 선로 용량을 복수의 철도 운송 사업자들에게 그들이 원하는 열차를 배분하는 일련의 절차 및 방법론을 말하는데, 본 논문은 철도 운송 사업자가 제안한 열차들의 출발시간, 정차 시간 등을 조정하여 시설 관리자가 추구하는 목적에 가장 부합하는 조정된 스케줄을 생성해내는 최적화 모형 및 해법을 다룬다. 이 모형과 관련한 기존 연구들은, 열차간의 경합 조건만을 제약식으로 설정하여, 특정 노선에 투입되는 열차들이 경합 조건 때문에 기존에 계획된 노선별 열차 운행 횟수를 보장할 수 없는 한계를 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 노선별 열차 운행 횟수를 고려함과 동시에 열차간 경합 조건을 반영한 새로운 최적화 모형 및 이에 대한 해법을 제시한다. 이 해법을 이용하여, 수서발 고속열차와 기존 고속열차 운행 전 구간에 대한 최적의 선로 용량 할당 계획을 제시한다.

좌회전 궤적과 정지선 위치를 고려한 물방울 교통섬 설계 방법 (Design of Drop Islands to Accommodate the Left Turn Trajectory and Stop Bar)

  • 차량의 좌회전반경 및 궤적에 관한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이러한 이유로 교차로의 설계시 좌회전반경은 중요하게 반영 되지 않아 부적절하게 적용된 경우를 자주 찾아볼 수가 있으며 그에 따른 좌회전 유도선 또한 부적절하게 그려지고 있는 실정이며 이러한 교차로에서 상충에 의한 안전사고나 교차로용량의 감소가 자주 일어나고 있다. 본 연구는 유럽에서 교차로 설계 시 자주 사용되며 최근 국내에 소개된 바 있는 "물방울 교통섬(Drop Island)"을 교차로의 설계에 적용하여 위와 같은 문제점들을 해결하고자 한다. 기존의 물방울 교통섬 설계방법을 응용하여 실제 설계에 활용할 수 있도록 차종별, 교차각별로 설계방법을 제시하였으며 실제 설계를 통해 각각의 경우 교차점으로부터 정지선의 위치 및 회전 궤적의 시종점거리를 제시하여 설계자가 실무에서 참고하여 보다 쉽게 정확한 좌회전 궤적을 설계에 반영할 수 있도록 하였다.

In operation planning of $DG_s$, determining optimal capacity and allocation gets economical pro(it and improves power reliability. This paper proposes determining a optimal number, size and allocation of $DG_s$ needed to minimize operation cost of distribution system. Capacity of $DG_s$ (or economical operation of distribution system estimated by the load growth and line capacity during operation planning duration, DG allocations are determined to minimize total cost with power buying cost. operation cost of DG, loss cost and outage cost using GA(Genetic Algorithm).

Sum-Rate Capacity with Fairness in Correlated MIMO Broadcast Channels

  • Although the maximum sum-rate capacity of multiple-input multiple output(MIMO) broadcast channels(BCs) can be achieved by dirty-paper coding(DPC), the results were obtained without fairness considerations in uncorrelated MIMO channels. In this paper, we propose new multiuser scheduling algorithms, which find a best user set for approaching the maximum sum-rate capacity while maintaining fairness among users. We analyze the performance of the proposed algorithms using zero-forcing dirty paper coding(ZF-DPC) in the correlated MIMO BCs for throughput and delay fairness, respectively. Numerical results demonstrate that a large time window can reduce the average throughput difference between users, but it increases head-of-line(HOL) delay jitters in the case of delay fairness.

  • In operation of distribution system, DGs(Distributed Generations) are installed as an alternative of extension and establishment of substations, transmission and distribution lines according to increasing power demand. Optimal capacity and allocation of DGs improve power quality and reliability. This paper proposes a method for determining the optimal number, size and allocation of DGs needed to minimize operation cost of distribution system. Capacity of DGs for economic operation of distribution system can be estimated by the load growth and line capacity during operation planning duration. DG allocations are determined to minimize total cost with failure rate and annual reliability cost of each load point using GA(Genetic Algorithm).

  • This study develops practical models and methods for the assessment of safety and capacity rating of existing P.C. girder bridges based on the reliability methods. One of the main objectives of the study is to propose a practical but realistic limit state model for safety assessment and LRFR rating criteria, which explicitly incorporates the degree of deterioration and damage as well as actual condition of P.C. girder bridges in terms of the damage factor and the response ratio. The damage factor proposed in the paper is defined as the ratio of the current estimated stiffness to the intact base-line stiffness of a member. Based on the observation and the results of applications to existing bridges, it may be concluded that the proposed methods for the assessment and capacity rating models, which explicitly account for the uncertainties and effects of degree of deterioration or damage, provide more realistic and consistent safety-assessment and capacity rating.

  • Although Jeju island Is connected with main network system by HVDC cable line, it's network assumes the form of independent system in an operating point of view. Therefore Jeju needs it's own independent capacity expansion planning. Continuos growth of demand and increase of antiquated plants in Jeju requires additional generating capacity. This paper analyzes characteristics of two alternatives which include it's own expansion of facilities and capacity expansion of network system for Jeju island. Furthermore this paper evaluates economic efficiency of those alternatives and analyzes long-term program of demand-supply of electricity.

공기 유압식 브레이크 라인 파손 사례 및 파손 분석 연구 (A Case Study on Failure and Analysis of Air Over Hydraulic Brake Line)

  • In this case study, the brake line failure of air over hydraulic(AOH) brake system is described. AOH brake system is applied to commercial vehicles between 5 to 8 tons. It consists of a hydraulic system using compressed air and operates the air master to form hydraulic pressure to transfer braking power to the wheels. When the brake lines of the system applied to vehicles with high load capacity are damaged, the braking force of one shaft is lost, and the braking distance increases rapidly, leading to a big accident. Failure of the brake line occurs due to various causes such as road surface fragmentation, corrosion of the line, and aged deterioration of air brake hose. The braking force could be decreased even when a very small break in the form of a pin-hole occurs. However, it is difficult to find a part where the thickness of the line is thin due to stone pecking or corrosion generated in the pin-hole formed on the brake line located under the lower part of the vehicle by the sensory evaluation or the conventional braking force test. Accordingly, it is necessary to analyze the condition and cause of the failure of the brake line more precisely when the accident investigation of the heavy vehicles, and also to examine the necessity of the advanced test for the aged brake line.

풍력발전단지 연계 전용선로 보호계전방식의 향상에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Improved Protective Relaying Algorithm Applied in the Linked System Interconnecting Wind Farm with the Utilities)

  • This paper describes the correction strategy of an overcurrent relay applied in the linked line for interconnecting wind farm with utility power networks in order to improve the capability of a fault detection. The fault current measured in a relaying point might vary according to the fault conditions. Generally, the current of the line to line fault or the line to ground fault in the linked line is much higher than the set value of protective relay due to the large fault level. However, when the high impedance fault occurs in the linked line, we can't detect it by conventional set value because its fault level may be lower than the generating capacity of wind farm. And, the protective relay with conventional set value may generate a trip signal for the insertion of wind turbine generators due to the large transient characteristics. In order to solve above problems and improve protective relaying algorithms applied in the linked line, we propose a new correction strategy of the protective relay in the linked line. The presented method can detect the high impedance fault which can't be detected by conventional relay set value and may prevent the mis-operation of protective relay caused by the insertion of wind farm.

  • In order to evaluate the nominal rating of breakers in distribution system due to the increased capacity of power transformer from 60 to 100 MVA, the fault currents are calculated in the condition of 3-phase fault and single line-to-ground fault. Consequently, under the condition of the parallel operation of transformers the fault currents were exceed the nominal rating current of breakers in some areas.
