산업부산물 및 규산칼슘계 재료를 이용한 건재용 경량.고강도 복합체의 개발.평가에 관한 실험적 연구(기 1) (Experimental Study on the Development and Evaluation of Lt.Wt.& High Strength Composites Utilizing By-Products and Calcium Silicates for Construction Materials(1))

  • 산업부산물의 플라이애쉬와 실리카흄 및 국내 부존자원이 풍부한 규사분말, 생석회 및 발포용 알루미늄 분말과 취성개선을 위한 보강용 섬유를 사용한 경량 고강도의 시멘트복합체의 개발을 위하여 오토클래브 양생에 의한 열수 알카리분위기에서의 섬유 자체의 열화현상을 조사함과 아울러 배합요인별로 건재용 경량섬유보강 규산칼슘계 시멘트복합에를 제조하여 그 역학적 특성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 시험결과, 탄소섬유 및 내알카리성 유리섬유는 보강용 섬유로서 적합함이 확인되었으며, 경량 섬유보강 규산칼슘계 시멘트복합체의 압축, 인장, 휨강도는 플라이애쉬와 실리카흄 혼입율 및 섬유혼입율이 증가함을 따라 증가하는 경향을 나타내었고 또한 섬유혼입율 증가에 따라 현저히 휨인성이 증가하였으며, 탄소섬유보강의 경유가 유리섬유보강의 경우에 비하여 압축, 인장, 휨강도 및 휨인성은 다소 높은 경향을 나타내었다.

  • HBS 슬래브는 PSC슬래브 상부에 경량체를 설치하고 이웃하고 있는 PSC슬래브의 두 개 리브가 현장 토핑 콘크리트에 의해 형성된 현장 리브와 결합함으로서 동일축상에서 단일 부재로 거동하는 공법이다. 본 연구의 목적은 PSC 슬래브 공법에 관하여 실험적 연구를 통하여 기존 공법과의 성능 비교를 구현 하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 공법의 한계를 개선하는 공법으로 HBS 슬래브를 개발하였으며 그 우수성을 검증하기 위하여 기존 공법과의 성능 비교를 시행하고자 한다. 기존 공법과의 구조 성능 비교는 HBS 슬래브의 실험적 연구를 통하여 휨성능 및 전단에 대한 구조 성능과 PC보와 HBS 슬래브의 접합 성능을 검토하였으며, 이론적 방법을 통하여 기존 공법과 비교를 수행하고자 한다.

GPR 기반 콘크리트 슬래브 시공 두께 검측 기법 개발 (Development of Thickness Measurement Method From Concrete Slab Using Ground Penetrating Radar)

  • 국내의 공동주택 보급률 증가에 따라 층간소음으로 인한 문제가 증가하고 있다. 이를 예방하기 위하여 바닥 충격음 차단 구조에 대한 수요가 높아지고 있으며 해당 구조에 대한 성능 인증이 이뤄지고 있지만 소음 차단 성능이 현장에서는 재현되지 않는다는 문제점이 있다. 해당 구조가 제 성능을 발휘하기 위해서는 일정 두께 이상의 마감 모르타르 타설이 필요하며, 해당 구조의 시공 적정성 판정을 위하여 GPR을 이용한 두께 측정 실험을 진행하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 두께 측정 알고리즘은 측정된 데이터를 기반으로 상대유전율을 설정할 수 있어 정확한 두께 값을 측정할 수 있다. 네 종류의 바닥 충격음 차단 인증 구조에서 GPR 두께 측정 실험을 진행하였으며, GPR 데이터와 천공 측정 데이터 간 평균 오차는 1.95mm로 나타났다. 또한 마감재 유무가 측정값에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 총 3가지 종류의 마감재를 배치하고 실험을 진행으며, 평균 오차는 1.70mm로 나타났다. 추가적으로 장비의 샘플링 오차, 개발 알고리즘 변수, 천공 오차등을 종합적으로 고려하였을 때, GPR 계측 및 제안 알고리즘은 매우 높은 정확도로 슬래브 마감 모르타르의 두께 측정에 적용할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Ad-hoc vibration monitoring system for a stress-ribbon footbridge: from design to operation

  • Pedro $G{\acute{o}}mez$ Bosque footbridge is a slender and lightweight structure that creates a pedestrian link over the Pisuerga River, Valladolid, Spain. This footbridge is a singular stress ribbon structure with one span of 85 m consisting on a steel plate and precast concrete slabs laying on it. Rubber pavement and a railing made of stainless steel and glass complete the footbridge. Because of its lively dynamics, prone to oscillate, a simple and affordable structural health monitoring system was installed in order to continuously evaluate its structural serviceability and to estimate its modal parameters. Once certain problems (conditioning and 3D orientation of the triaxial accelerometers) are overcome, the monitoring system is validated by comparison with a general purpose laboratory portable analyzer. Representative data is presented, including acceleration magnitudes and modal estimates. The evolution of these parameters has been analysed over one-year time.

Response of non-structural components mounted on irregular RC buildings: comparison between FE and EC8 predictions

  • This paper investigates the seismic response of lightweight acceleration-sensitive non-structural components (NSCs) mounted on irregular reinforced concrete (RC) primary structures (P-structures) using non-linear dynamic finite element (FE) analysis. The aim of this paper is to study the influence of NSC to P-structure vibration period ratio, peak ground acceleration, NSC to P-structure height ratio, and P-structure torsional behaviour on the seismic response of the NSCs. Representative constitutive models were used to simulate the behaviour of the RC P-structures. The NSCs were modelled as vertical cantilevers fixed at their bases with masses on the free ends and varying lengths so as to match the frequencies of the P-structures. Full dynamic interaction is considered between the NSCs and P-structures. A set of 21 natural and artificial earthquake records were used to evaluate the seismic response of the NSCs. The numerical results indicate that the behaviour of the NSCs is significantly influenced by the investigated parameters. Comparison between the FE results and Eurocode (EC8) predictions suggests that EC8 underestimates the response of NSCs mounted on the flexible sides of irregular RC P-structures when the fundamental periods and heights of the NSCs match those of the P-structures. The perceived cause of this discrepancy is that EC8 does not take into account the amplification in the dynamic response of NSCs induced by the torsional behaviour of RC P-structures.

폴리프로필렌 섬유 혼입 슬러리와 미네랄 하이드레이트 단열소재의 물리적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Physical Properties of Slurry and Mineral Hydrate Insulation Mixed with Polypropylene Fiber)

  • The fabrication method used for mineral hydrate is similar to that of ALC (autoclaved lightweight concrete), but the fabrication of normal slurry with a considerable amount of a foaming agent is difficult due to material separation and collapse of the slurry. Therefore, the development of fabrication methods for normal slurry is necessary. The final product, mineral hydrate insulation, has excellent thermal properties but poor strength characteristic given the many pores. In this study, in order to fabricate normal slurry, the viscosity and foaming time of the slurry were controlled. The mixing ratio of the starting material and the polypropylene fiber was controlled to improve the strength. Mineral hydrate with polypropylene fiber showed a higher strength than that without this type of fiber. Specifically, the compressive strength of mineral hydrate with 2% polypropylene fiber added to it was more than 40% higher than that without the fiber.

ALC 패널을 활용한 건축물 외장 커튼월에 대한 Mock-up Test 성능 평가 연구 (Performance Evaluations of Mock-up Tests for ALC Panel Curtain Wall in Building Exterior)

  • The green building is one of biggest factors to go the goal of energy saving and environmental conservation, reduction of energy consumption, friendly energy technology, recycling of resource, and environmental pollution reduction technology. The purpose of these green buildings realized by the energy-saving technology such as the exterior materials or curtain wall system. The curtain wall system is a element that come to insulated portions of building envelope that results in heat loss. The purpose of this paper is to carried out mock-up tests for exterior wall used in autoclaved lightweight concrete panels in green building practices. Mock-up test execute a mixed process between standard test procedure and complex test procedure based on AAMA 501(American Society for Testing and Materials) and ASTM 283, ASTM 330(American Society for Testing and Materials). In results, tests meet the requirements that grant values in steps of procedures provided on ASTM and AAMA. ALC panel is suitable for a exterior wall product to be gratified thermal cycling performance and structural capacity, deflection(H/200) and lateral displacement(H/50), for curtain walls.

복합재료 교량 시스템의 정적거동 분석 및 파괴모드에 관한 연구 (Study of Failure Mode and Static Behavio of Lightweight FRP Bridge Deck System)

  • There is a concern with worldwide deterioration of highway bridges, particularly reinforced concrete. The advantages of fibre reinforced plastic(FRP) composites over conventional materials motivate their use in highway bridges for replacement of structures. Recently, an FRP deck has been installed on a state highway, located in New York State, as an experimental project. In this paper, a systematic approach for analysis of this FRP deck bridge is presented. Multi-step linear numerical analyses have been performed using the finite element method to study the structural behavior and the possible failure mechanism of the FRP deck-superstructure system Deck's self-weight and ply orientations at the interface between steel girders and FRP deck are considered in this study. From this research, the results of the numerical analyses were corroborated with field test results. Analytical results reveal several potential failure mechanism for the FRP deck and truss bridge system The results presented in this study may be used to propose engineering design guideline for new and replacement FRP bridge deck structure.

벽식구조 공동주택의 바닥충격음 개선에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Floor Impact Sound Insulation Performance in Wall Slab Type Apartment)

  • Floor impact sound has been most annoying for years among the noises which are produced in apartment. This study aims to analyze the improvement of floor impact sound by comparing the results of the test which was carried out for the wall slab type apartment and moment frame apartment, and also for the effect of advanced vibration isolation layer. Moment frame structure that main structure consists of column and slab has shown better performance for the heavyweight impact sound comparing with wall slab type structure which is general type in Korea. Stiffness of floor system was raised by reinforcing the stiffness of vibration isolation layer, and it was analyzed how much the floor impact sound performance was improved. The result showed that the reinforced floor had better performance than the existing floor system that uses lightweight porous concrete as vibration isolation material. In addition, a system used wire mesh in mortar showed improvement of floor impact sound than a system without wire mesh, and better performance for the frequency bands lower than 160 Hz which causes floor impact problem in wall slab type apartment.

양생온도에 따른 다공성 경량골재를 활용한 샌드위치 패널심재의 강도 특성 (Strength Properties of Sandwich Panel core using Cellular lightweight Aggregate according to Curing Temperature)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the manufacture of light weight concrete panel using the artificial light-weight aggregate as a part of the substitution of foamed styrene and polyurethane because of narrow allocable temperature Bone in use. The experimental parameter of this study is 40, 60 and 8$0^{\circ}C$ of curing temperature at 100% relative humidity and the type of admixture such as cement, 6mm glass fiber and St/BA emulsion. Testing item is compressive and flexural strength and strength of specimen cured at standard condition is compared to that of specimen cured at 40, 60 and 8$0^{\circ}C$ of curing temperature at 100% relative humidity. As a result or this, it was revealed that the maximum or strength is developed in 6$0^{\circ}C$ or cure temperature at 100% relative humidity in case of the most of the specimen. Specimens modified by St/BA emulsion show the highest development of strength dependent on the curing tmeperature. So, it seems to be effective that evaporation curing method shoud be considered to curing the specimen as the panel core.
