FR4 PCB의 Via-hole이 LED 패키지에 미치는 열적 특성 분석 (Analysis of Thermal Properties in LED Package by Via hole of FR4 PCB)

  • The efficiency of LED package is increasing by applying the high power, and a existing lighting is changing as the LED lighting. However, many problems have appeared by heat. Therefore, in order to solve thermal problems, LED lighting is designing in several ways, but the advantages of LED lighting is fading due to increase the prices and volumes. In this study, we try to improve the thermal performance by formation of via holes. The junction temperature and thermal resistance in the FR4-PCB with via-holes of 0.6[mm] was excellent in experiment and FR4-PCB with Via-holes of 0.6[mm] was excellent in simulation without solder. Further, the thermal resistance and the optical properties can be improved through a formation of via-holes.

  • DMX-512 protocol is a lighting protocol which can control the various lighting fixtures by linking as networks. Recently many lighting fixtures corresponding to DMX-512 have been manufactured. The software which makes LED Control of lighting fixtures easy and simple, is proposed in this paper. The complicated interface and production method were improved and each mode was divided for simple production and reducing confusion of operator. The producing effects were confirmed by simulation results.

  • Solar Cell을 이용한 15W 휴대용 조명 시스템을 개발하기 위하여, 휴대용에 적합한 solar cell을 선정하고, Solar Cell을 충전하기 위한 태양광 궤적 변화에 대한 Simulation을 행하였으며, 1W 백색 LED 6EA를 사용하여 휴대용 LED Lighting System을 개발하였다. LED Lighting System은 solar cell 충방전 회로 및 LED SMPS 구동회로 설계, 글레어차단을 위한 리플렉터 설계, 방열 설계 및 기구 구조 설계를 통하여 개발되었으며, 직접 시제품을 제작하고 그 성능을 측정하였다.

  • 도로의 가시성(Visibility)은 운전자에게 매우 중요하다. 특히 차량이 터널을 통과할 때의 가시성은 더욱 중요한데, 터널내의 조명은 운전사의 가시성에 많은 영향을 미친다. 이러한 가시성 향상을 위하여 새로운 터널조명 방식인 Counter-beam 조명이 유럽과 일본을 중심으로 최근 소개되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 터널조명 발전을 위한 새로운 접근 방법론을 제시하고 기본적인 상황에서 Counter-beam 조명의 효과를 Simulation을 통하여 분석하고 평가함으로써 그 적용 가능성을 알아본다.

TRIAC 디밍제어방식을 적용한 실내 LED 조명기기의 전도성 잡음 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reduction of Conducted Noise Emission from an Interior LED Lighting Module with TRIAC Dimming Control)

  • This paper analyzes the noise sources of an LED lighting module with TRIAC dimming control and proposes an improved EMI filter design for the reduction of conducted noise emission. TRIAC dimming invokes problems of input oscillation and capacitor overvoltage at the lighting module. The proposed double LC filter reduces high noise level from the circuit. The experimental and simulation results show that this approach can make significant contributions to the reduction of conducted noise emission from an LED lighting module with TRIAC dimming control.

  • In the past, marine pollution caused by radioactivity and wastewater discharge caused mass destruction. As an alternative, the land farming system became common and operational. In recent years, safety and environmental problems caused by declining population due to aging of fishermen and underdeveloped facilities have always been lurking, so improvement is urgently needed. As part of the new renewable energy 3020 plan announced by the government in 2017, a new model was proposed to improve the environment as well as save energy when the roof of a water tank farm was remodeled into a solar power system. Study, when the existing roof was remodeled and replaced with a water tank farm in Busan as an empirical model, the energy saving rate was analyzed by comparing the actual electricity consumption and power generation.

  • 도로터널 조명설비의 합리적인 설계로 도로터널의 안전한 교통운행 확보와 쾌적한 운전 환경을 위하여 Computer Simulation Program을 이용한 최적의 터널조명환경을 조성하고 그 결과를 분석·검토하여 설계에 적용하고 조명설비 공사에 반영하며, 발생하는 문제점과 그 대책을 제시하고자 한다.

초등학교 채광 성능 실태조사에 따른 건축계획적 개선방안에 관한 연구 (Architectural Implementation for the Daylight-Performance in the Elementary School)

  • Natural lighting is directly connected with our mental and physical health. For working or learning effect, the proper natural lighting is required for improving our living conditions. School facilities, especially, are the place where includes students' ordinary activities with learning behaviors during the school years from elementary to high school. This study was carried out for the purpose introducing a basic database in that planning a school by researching on the actual in the natural lighting system of some schools' classroom, estimating, and analyzing through a simulation, which resulted in a method of improving the natural lighting system. As a result of measuring and analyzing Daylight Factor(DF) during the time from 9 am to 3 pm when students are activating in their classroom, generally DF range of the sides near to window and aisle seats zone are not distributed well. Besides, two out of four school which are researched would not reach the standards of the law for school sanitary while rest of the schools meet the standards; Average DF 5% and Minimum DF 2%. And the result of a simulation by RADIANCE program shows the most appropriate DF range when it is applied in variable numbers about an oriehows the- South-east 15, south-east 30, south-east 45, south-west 15, south-west 30, and south-west 45 degrees. When it is applied in the variable numbers about glass transmittance - 60%, 70%, and 80% in condition facing south of a classroom, the result shows that the DF range of 80% transmittance is relatively higher than other glasses in the classroom. Thus, when a school is built, plans for an orientation is necessary for improve of elementary schools' environment with the glass installation which is made for high transmittance and is regarded with the students' activities time.

  • 본 연구는 자가-적응 조명 제어 소프트웨어에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행하고, 이를 통해 실제 시스템의 성능 평가 기준을 명시하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 자가-적응 소프트웨어는 소프트웨어를 작동시키는 과정에서 소프트웨어가 스스로 주변 환경을 모니터링해 환경에 예상하지 못한 변화가 발생한 것을 감지하고, 변화하는 실행 환경에 맞추어 요구사항을 만족시키는 소프트웨어를 의미한다. 본 연구는 IoT(Internet of Things) 환경에서 자가-적응을 수행하는 조명 제어 시스템에 대한 연구이다. 제안하는 시스템은 환경이 변화함에 따라 사용자의 요구사항을 고려해 시스템 스스로의 적응을 수행한다. 이에 대한 시나리오와 시스템 아키텍처 및 평가지표를 소개하며, 이를 기반으로 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 성능 평가를 수행했다.

The Evaluation of Ceiling Depth Impact on Lighting and Overall Energy Consumption of a Building with Top-lighting System

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the variation in building energy predictions caused by simulation settings related to building envelop thickness. The study assessed the ceiling depth impact on skylight energy performance through OpenStudio integrated Radiance and EnergyPlus simulation programs. A ceiling as deep as 1.5 to 3m was analyzed for skylight to roof ratios from 1% to 25%. The results indicated that the building ceiling depth negatively affected the capability of skylights to significantly reduce building energy consumption. Through a parametric analysis, the study concluded that 8%, 9%, 10% and 11% skylight to roof ratio were optimal in terms of total building energy consumption for a ceiling depth of 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m and 3m, respectively. In addition, the results showed that the usually recommended 5% skylight to roof ratio was only efficient when no ceiling depth was included in the simulation model. Furthermore, the study indicated that the building energy saved by the optimal skylight of each ceiling depth decreased as the ceiling depth deepened. The highest total building energy reduction was 9%, 7%, 5% and 3% for a ceiling depth of 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m and 3m, respectively. This study induced that the solar heat gains and daylight visible transmittance by ceiling depth were crucial in the predictions of skylight energy performance and should not be neglected through building simulation simplifications as it is commonly done in most simulation programs' settings.
