연출을 통해 나타나는 공연무대의 효과에 관한 연구 - 국내 공연된 뮤지컬 무대 중심으로 - (A Study on Effects of Performance Stage through Direction - With a focus on stage musicals performed in Korea -)

  • Due to development of digital technology, a concept of stage design management is being changed. In addition, stage management technique is changing a viewpoint of the audience watching a stage through the convergence of analogue and digital technology. Three-dimensional media such as LED and hologram and works combining with previous stage performances are rising, and the audience's requirements about spectacles on the stage are increasingly higher. Interaction between a stage, audiences and actors is a communication tool by a work story and its direction. In other words, stage design should newly focus on not only concluded work story but also comprehensive delivery of direction and the expression and extreme delivery. Therefore, this study aims to examine how to combine analogue and digital direction elements in the stage design. To this end, this study looks into everything the audience feels through performances and analogue and digital elements directed for performances and then analyzes and arranges them to present a possibility of various types of work performances. Stage structure, set, and lighting that are analogue direction elements are the basis of stage performance. Analogue direction elements mean a media vehicle that can differentiate except for basic direction of each work. This study aims to analyze new performance culture when analog and digital direction elements are combined through stage performance and a possibility of new stage performance. In addition, through this it desired to seek for a development possibility of Korean leisure culture and art culture. As the work cases, this study shows 10 works through actual stage performances held in Korea and introduces elements directed in those works.

사회적 디자인이 적용된 가구디자인 사례 분석 연구 (Analysis of the Furniture Design Using Social Design)

  • The social design, which appeared at the end of the 19th century, is getting attention along with problems in modern society. The purpose of this paper is to analyze several cases of social furniture designs, and to present its necessity and future direction. It classifies the cases of furniture, lighting and design project regarding social design into three types. First is furniture design for social minority. Second is sustainable design, and third is social design that delivers social message. The expected effects of social design are cost-efficiency, sociality, and environment-friendliness. Also, social design requires certain direction which is first; the designer should recognize the minorities in the world. Second, the designer is obliged to accomplish social mission, and last, he or she should be aware that the design creates added values.

몬테카를로법을 이용한 실내조도 계산 (Interior Lighting Calculation using Monte-Carlo Method)

  • A computer program to calculate the illumination distributions of a room interior was made. The room has a light source with arbitrary intensity distribution. The program follows the paths of the particles from the light sources, and the illumination distribution is calculated by repeating this following to many particles. Monte Carlo method is applied to the decision of the direction of the particle from light source, and the new direction of the reflected particles. Making simulation program on this basis, illumination distributions were measured for various light sources and wall surfaces tocertify the calculated results. As a results, it is known that the calculated distribution would be correct if the size of the light source is sufficiently smaller than the size of the room.

대학교 실내 휴게 공간 계획 방향에 관한 연구 - K 대학교의 대학생 선호도 분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on Planning Direction of University Student Lounges - Focused on a Preference Analysis of K University Students -)

  • University campus is confronted with a variety of educational circumstances. U-Campus and the changes in students' academic activities demand a remodeling of university campus. The purpose of this study is planning direction for a remodeling space in university. This study in particular focus on indoor student lounges for the students. A survey asked students about a preference of indoor student lounges. Four preferences; the physical characteristics, preference of furnitures and lighting, preference of behaviors and preference of space programs are classified through the analysis on advanced studies. The results show not only students' preference but also a preference of each four different departments students; Social science, Physical education, Natural sciences and Engineering. In conclusion, this study will suggest a concrete plan for the future direction of the indoor student lounges at this point increased the importance of the university indoor student lounges.

원형관로 영상을 이용한 관로주행 로봇의 자세 추정 (Robot Posture Estimation Using Circular Image of Inner-Pipe)

  • This paper proposes the methodology of the image processing algorithm that estimates the pose of the inner-pipe crawling robot. The inner-pipe crawling robot is usually equipped with a lighting device and a camera on its head for monitoring and inspection purpose of defects on the pipe wall and/or the maintenance operation. The proposed methodology is using these devices without introducing the extra sensors and is based on the fact that the position and the intensity of the reflected light from the inner wall of the pipe vary with the robot posture and the camera. The proposed algorithm is divided into two parts, estimating the translation and rotation angle of the camera, followed by the actual pose estimation of the robot . Based on the fact that the vanishing point of the reflected light moves into the opposite direction from the camera rotation, the camera rotation angle can be estimated. And, based on the fact that the most bright parts of the reflected light moves into the same direction with the camera translation, the camera position most bright parts of the reflected light moves into the same direction with the camera translation, the camera position can be obtained. To investigate the performance of the algorithm, the algorithm is applied to a sewage maintenance robot.

AC DOB 기술을 적용한 LED 가로등의 조명 성능 (Light Efficiency of LED Street Light Using AC DOB Technology)

  • This research attempted simplifications to the LED street light for price competitiveness. The street light was simplified by replacing the SMPS with an IC driver on the PCB using an AC-type LED. The optical element that shape of a line-shaped lens covered LED crowded. Thus, this study aims to improve LED efficiency by using the minimum optical system. In order to satisfy the M3 regulation of street lighting at grade, the lens was divided into two parts depending on the forward direction of the light. Further, the changes in the number of LEDs located on part 1 and part 2 of the lens were analyzed. Through simulation, we determined the proper light distribution that meets M3 regulation of street lighting.

지방자치단체 빛공해 방지 조례의 현황 및 분석 (A Study on Status and Analysis of Local Governments Light Pollution Control Ordinance)

  • This study is intending to look into the status of the hitherto established local governments light pollution control ordinance, and to use the ordinance status as basic data of ordinance enactment related to light pollution in time of its establishment and revision in accordance with regional characteristics of each local government for the time to come. This study conducted this research in a total of 3-phase research methods. 1) This study inquired into the direction of the research plan through the theoretical consideration and analysis of the preceding researches after setting up research objectives according to research background and purpose. 2) Targeting 11 local governments which are enforcing the hitherto established ordinance, this study surveyed the status of the light pollution control ordinance. 3) This study carried out the contents analysis of the ordinance in the method of doing a comparative analysis of each provision of the ordinance according to local governments. It's hoped that on the basis of this research, local governments across the nation, which have not yet established the same ordinance, could minimize the damage to natural eco-system due to artificial lighting by promoting the urgent ordinance establishment suited for each region, and create human-oriented light environment by modifying various disorderly lighting environment.

생체신호와 감성조명을 이용한 스마트 에어컨 서비스 (Smart Air Conditioning Service Using Bio-signal and Emotional Lighting)

  • 최근들어 가전시장에서 융합기술을 이용한 제품 차별화는 소비자로부터 많은 호응을 얻고 있다. 그러나 에어컨 제품은 기계적 운영에서 센서와 플랫폼이 결합된 인공지능을 위한 융합기술이 적용하는 초기단계에 있어서 많은 연구개발이 필요한 분야이다. 본 논문에서는 IR-UWB 기술을 이용한 비접촉 방식의 생체신호(호흡수, 이동) 수집기술을 개발하였다. 생체신호를 이용하여 사용자의 위치에 따라 에어컨 방향을 제어한다. 또한 최적의 수면 환경을 제공하기 위해 수면상태를 모니터링 한다. 감성조명과 ASMR은 안락하고 감성적인 삶의 공간을 제공하기 위해 개발되었다. 그리고 개발된 융합기술을 기반으로 편리하고 안락한 휴식공간을 제공하는 지능형 스마트 에어컨 서비스 플랫폼을 제안하였다.

멀티센서기반 무대배우 이동에 따른 FOV가변형 LED조명 제어 시스템 (LED lighting control system using the variable FOV according to movements of stage actors based on multi sensor)

  • 현재 현대인들의 소득수준 향상과 여가시간 증대, 가치관의 변화 등으로 인해 문화산업의 중요성이 부각됨과 동시에 예술, 전시, 공연에 대한 수요가 점차 커지고 있다. 그러나 국내 기술력이 저조하여 무대연출 장비를 수입품에 의존하고 있는 경우가 많다. 특히 조명연출 분야에서는 배우의 동선을 파악하고, 조명을 제어해야 할 필요가 있는데 IT기술을 이용할 수 있음에도 불구하고 육안으로 배우를 인식하여 수기적으로 제어하는 경우가 일반적이다. 센서 응용하더라도 배우인지를 위해 단순한 형태의 단일 센서만 응용하기 때문에 무대 전체조명의 온-오프에 따라 배우감지 및 추적이 불가능한 경우도 생긴다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 무대배우를 보다 효과적으로 추적할 수 있는 멀티센서 기반 알고리즘과 무대 조명연출을 유연하게 할 수 있는 LED(light emitting diode)조명 FOV(field of view) 및 가변형 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. 또한 제안한 시스템과 알고리즘을 바탕으로 핵심적인 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어를 구현하고 전체 시스템 연동실험을 통해 실용성과 구현가능성을 입증하였다. 추가적으로 구현된 센서모듈의 출력을 실측하고 제안한 FOV가변형 LED조명 시스템의 성능을 시뮬레이션함으로써 제안한 시스템의 유용성을 입증하였다.

딥러닝기반 실내와 실외 환경에서의 광원 추출 (Deep Learning-Based Lighting Estimation for Indoor and Outdoor)

  • 본 연구에서는 딥러닝을 기반으로 하여 실내와 실외 이미지 모두에서 알맞은 광원을 추출하는 방법론을 소개한다. 네트워크는 단일 LDR 이미지로부터 실내 혹은 실외 배경에 맞는 광원을 low dynamic range (LDR) 환경 맵으로 추출하는 Crop-to-PanoLDR 네트워크와 추출된 LDR 환경 맵을 빛의 정보를 담은 high dynamic range (HDR) 환경 맵으로 생성하는 LDR-to-HDR 네트워크 두 단계로 구성된다. 이와 같은 과정을 통해 최종적으로 생성된 HDR 환경 맵은 주어진 이미지에서 가상 객체를 렌더링할 때 적용되어 가상 객체를 조명하는 빛의 방향과 주변광 등을 확인함으로써 자연스러운 렌더링을 가능하게 하는지 검증한다. 본 연구에서 제안한 방법론의 우수성은 실내를 배경으로 한 이미지로만 구성한 데이터로 학습한 결과와 실외를 배경으로 한 이미지로만 학습한 결과 등과 비교하여 검증하였다. 또한, 실내와 실외를 구분하는 역할을 수행하는 손실 함수가 학습 결과에 미치는 영향을 실험, 검증하였다. 최종적으로 본 연구에서 생성된 환경 맵을 기존의 연구 결과와 비교 실험하는 사용자 테스트를 진행하였고 더 좋은 결과를 확인할 수 있었다.
