육상용 LED 램프의 선박 적응력에 관한 연구 (A study on the accommodation of common LED to shipboard)

  • Common LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamp has many advantages to compare with fluorescent lamp, long life and no pollution matter like the mercury. The LED lamp is a good light source especially for shipboard lighting because of its compact structure which prevents explosion and shock. Also, low maintenance cost is expected due to its longer life time in comparison with conventional lamps. The LED lamp, however, need some estimates that change of voltage and frequency, vibration, moisture on board to definite accommodation of the LED lamp to shipboard. The purpose of this study is to compare physical properties of a fluorescent lamp with one of the common LED lamp so as to analyze accommodation of common LED lamp on board. This study was carried out in two stages. First, temperature, humidity of illumination, voltage, electric current, frequency and electric power were measured by using experimental equipments. Second, a comparative analysis of consumption electric power, annual oil charge, annual CO2 emission and lamp life time, etc of the fluorescent lamp and common LED one was made. As a result of the study, the consumption electric power of fluorescent lamp was 50% higher than one of the common LED lamp. As a result of measuring life time, it was found that life time of common LED lamp was more about 3.5 fold than one of the fluorescent lamp. Considering these results, it's thought that common LED lamp is verified that energy saving is possible and using is possible as substitute for fluorescent lamp on board.

스킨답서스에 LED와 Fan을 이용한 실내공기정화 시스템 (The Indoor Air Purification System Using LED and Fan for Epipremnum aureum)

  • 빛이 부족하고 공기 순환이 원활하지 않은 실내에서 식물의 지상부와 지하부를 활용한 공기 정화 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 식물의 공기정화 효과를 극대화하고자 지상부는 청색과 녹색의 LED를 조합한 혼합광과 자연광에 가까운 고연색 LED를 각각 조사하고 지하부의 토양을 필터로 활용하고자 팬을 이용하여 강제 순환하였다. 광원과 팬이 결합된 실내공기정화 시스템이 식물만 배치된 경우보다 오염된 공기를 단시간에 가장 많이 제거하였다. 실내 공기정화 시스템의 혼합광과 고연색광 두 가지의 경우에서 식물만 배치된 경우보다 미세먼지는 각각 14%, 14.2%, TVOC는 7.5%, 9.4% 로 더 크게 감소하였다. 팬을 15분 동안만 가동한 실험에서도 TVOC가 97.8%로 크게 감소하였다. 식물의 광합성과 토양을 필터로 활용하는 것이 오염된 공기를 짧은 시간에 정화시킬 수 있었고 팬의 일시적인 가동으로도 지속적인 가동의 효과를 얻었다.

등주식 조명과 낮은 조명의 성능 비교에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Study on Visibility Performance Between Pole Type Lightings and Low-Level Lightings)

  • 야간 도로를 주행하는 운전자의 안전을 위한 대표적인 대책으로 등주식 도로조명의 설치가 선호되고 있다. 그러나 기존 등주식 형태 도로조명의 경우 노면으로부터 일정 높이에 설치되는 특성으로 인해 광원이 운전자에게 직접적으로 강한 눈부심을 주어 운전자의 시인성을 저해하고, 도로 외의 지역에도 빛이 누설되어 에너지 효율이 떨어질 뿐 아니라 주거지역이나 동식물에 장해를 주는 빛공해가 발생하게 된다. 이러한 문제점을 해소한 낮은 위치에 설치되어 조명이 도로만을 비추는 형태의 낮은 조명이 해결책으로 제안되고 있으나, 도입 초기인 낮은 조명이 도로조명등급을 만족하여 도로조명으로서의 역할을 할 수 있는지에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 도로조명으로서 요구되는 최소한의 시인성능 기준을 만족함과 동시에 빛공해를 근본적으로 차단할 수 있는 구조의 낮은 조명을 개발하고 기존 등주식 조명과 시인성능 비교를 수행한 결과를 제시하였다. 비교결과, 기존 등주식 조명에 비해 평균노면휘도, 균제도, 임계치 증분 평가에서 우수한 결과를 나타냈다.

  • This article addresses issues related to environmental pollution.Particular attention is paid to the prevention of environmental pollution by livestock waste, which prompted the creation of closed ecological and biotechnical systems as environmentally closed production structures that can fit into the equilibrium system of the environment with minimal damage to it. An energy-saving and environmental protection technology for the processing and disposal of livestock waste with a maximum coefficient of energy transfer to livestock products has been developed, which consists in a combined treatment of waste in three stages, by transferring waste from one technological module to another, which makes it possible to completely utilize mineral substances in waste. The focus is on vermicultivation, microalgae cultivation and anaerobic fermentation in a bioenergy plant. To increase the productivity of growing microalgae, the authors proposed a deep type cultivator with submerged movable light sources.The technological parameters of the bioenergy installation for waste treatment are determined. An energy-saving and environmental-friendly technology has been developed for processing The main contribution of the study is the development of energy-saving and environmental technology for the processing and disposal of livestock waste with a maximum coefficient of energy transfer to livestock products.

사출법으로 제조된 자동차 내장부품의 표면특성 개선 연구 (Improved Surface Characteristics of Automotive Interior Parts Fabricated by Injection Molding Method)

  • The environmental pollution which is global warming and abnormal climate is caused by increasing population and activated economics. To reduce environmental pollution, we have being efforts into reducing $CO_2$ emission and use of energy, resources. Especially, for the sake of light weight and fuel efficiency of automotive industry, many countries have defined the restrict environmental regulation which stipulate high magnitude of reducing $CO_2$ emission. In this study, we have predicted the problem of Mu-cell injection molding through the finite element analysis as a function of temperature controlled by Joule heating or in terms of mold temperature. From the result of finite element analysis, we have determined the optimized process and made the injection mold included electric current heating system with Mu-cell manufacturing. Lastly, we analyzed the surface characteristics of the injection products with mold temperature.

  • Pollution purification using titanium dioxide (TiO$_2$) photocatalyst has attracted a great deal of attention with increasing number of relent environmental problems. Currently, the application of TiO$_2$ photocatalyst has been focused on purification and treatment of waste water. However. the use of conventional TiO$_2$ powder photocatalyst results in disadvantage of stirring during the reaction and of separation after the reaction. And the usage of artificial UV lamp has made the cost of photocatalyst treatment system high. Consequently, we herein studied the pilot-scale design to aid in optimization of the energy-saving process for more through development and reactor design by solar light/UV lamp/ TiO$_2$system. In this study, we manufactured the TiO$_2$sol by sol-gel method. According to analysis by XRD, SEM and TEM, characterization of TiO$_2$ sol were nano-size (5-6 nm) and anatase type. Inorganic binder (SiO$_2$) was added to TiO$_2$ lot to be coated for support strongly, and support of ceramic bead was used to lower separation rate that of glass bead The influences were studied of various experimental parameters such as TiO$_2$ quantity, pH, flow rate. additives, pollutants concentration, climate condition and reflection plate by means of reaction time of the main chararteristics of the obtained materials. In water treatment system, variable realtor as solar light/ or UV lamp according to climate condition such as sunny and cloudy days treated the phenol and E-coli(Escherichia coli) effectively.

  • The biggest topics in the automobile industry are light weightening and fuel efficiency improvement. There's a lot of research going on. It is focused on light weight materials. Light weight material is seen as the best way to reduce fuel consumption and to solve the problem of environmental pollution and resource depletion. For the light weight materials, new materials such as aluminum, magnesium, and carbon-hardening materials can be found. Research on the joining techniques of dual materials, improvement of material properties by improving the method of manufacture of existing materials, and studies on ultra-high strength steel sheets are expected to take up the most weight in lightweight materials. As the strength of the ultra-high strength steel sheets increases during forming, it is difficult to obtain dimensional precision due to the increase in elastic restoring force compared to mild or high strength steel sheets. Spring back is known to be affected by a number of factors due to poor plastic molding, and can be divided into the effects of the material spraying and the process. The study on the plasticitic variables were studied as plasticitic factors that can be controlled by a part company. Tensile testing of ultra-high strength materials was conducted to derive properties for plasticitic analysis and to analyze spring back with two factors controlling the height of the bead and blank holding force by adding tensile force and controlling the flow rate.

의암호에서 퇴적물 용출에 대한 수온, 빛과 퇴적물 제거의 영향 (Effects of Water Temperature, Light and Dredging on Benthic Flux from Sediment of the Uiam Lake, Korea)

  • An experiment to study the effect of temperature, light, and dredging on release of nutrients downstream from Gongjicheon in the Uiam reservoir was carried out in the laboratory using sediments from different depths. At various water temperatures, dissolved total nitrogen was not released, but the average nutrient flux of dissolved total phosphorus was increased (0.034 at $15^{\circ}C$, 0.005 at $20^{\circ}C$, 0.154 at $25^{\circ}C$, $0.592mg/m^2/d$ at $30^{\circ}C$). Dissolved total phosphorous was released in controlled darkness. In contrast, in controlled light, the concentrations of dissolved total phosphorous and dissolved total nitrogen in the overlying water steadily decreased during the study period (70 d), because they were continuously consumed by the growth of photosynthetic algae. However, there was no significant relationship between water nutrient concentration, nutrient release, and the depth of the sediment. We concluded that the dredging of sediment would not affect the nutrient release rate of the sediment, because there were no significant differences in the nutrient concentrations released from the sediment. When the sediment was removed from the surface to 20 cm in depth, the nutrients were not transferred to the water body, implying that the sediment removal had little effect on secondary pollution.

Rayon과 Tencel 섬유의 염색 견뢰도 고찰 (The Study On the dye fastness of the Rayon & Tencel Fiber)

  • This study examines the character of "Tencel" named as Ecology Fiber and investigates the fitness of it as the textile and the satisfaction in dress when its fastness is compared with that of Rayon classified into Celulose textile. Dye experiment selected 100% Tencel, Rayon for the samples, which were dyed into the direct dye and Turky Blue and Blue of the rective dye and were washed twelve times by the automatic washer. After that, the dye experiment examines the light, laundering, perspiration, rubbing and the composite fastness of the perspiration and hight in the lists of the dye fastness. The results are as follows: 1. The experiment of the color fastness, especially in T-blue of the direct dyestuff, requiring the twelve times-repeatedly-washing by the detergent says that the color fastness of Tencel is superior to that of the cellulose textile ; Rayon. 2. The experiment of the light fastness says that the fastness of Tencel is superior to that of Rayon. 3. The experiment of the laundering fastness says that all of Tencel, Rayon shows the excellent result in the direct dye than in the reactive dye. 4. The experiment of the rubbing fastness says that although Tencel, Rayon show the remarkable result in the desiccant experiment than in the humid one, the rubbing fastness of Tencel is superior to that of others. 5. The experiment of perspiration fastness says that Tencel, Rayon have the closely tightened tendency not to be altered through the acid and alkali perspirations. 6. The experiment of the composite fastness of perspiration and light indicates that the artifical perspirations, though the light lets the fastness of textiles weeken, do very slightly make them loosen, which does not offer the outstanding result. This whole result show that the fastness of Tencel is superior to that of Rayon. The Korean Fiber Enterprise in clothing should make the new and ecological fiber "Tencel" by means of the large amount of investment, and the technique of handing and controlling about it, considering that the dangerous needle of environmental pollution has been slackening the close-related ecological knots of the global environment. global environment.

실도로 주행에서 PEMS를 이용한 소형 경유 상용차의 가스 상 유해대기오염물질 배출계수 연구 (Emission Factor of Hazardous Air Pollutants in Gas-phase from Light Commersial Vehicle using PEMS on Real-road Driving)

  • In this study, the HAPs(Harzard Air Pollutants) emission factor level of Starex and Grand Carnival was tested using PEMS (Portable Emissions Measurement System) on real road driving. As a result of RDE (Real Driving Emission test), the overall vehicle speed pattern showed similar characteristics. The real-road driving test at constant speed revealed emission factor is inversely proportional relationship to constant speed. Results of accelerating with speed limit on the real-road were shown as followings; Uran (less than 45 km/h)>Rural (<45 km/h, less than 80 km/h)>Motorway (>80 km/h). Moreover, the sudden acceleration and deceleration in driving at high speed was the increasing factor to the HAPs emission factor. This tendency is considered to be influenced by the operating environment on real roads.
