Methods : This study was designed as a cross-sectional study, and the subjects were the second-grade students of three junior-high and three high schools located in the city of K in Kyung Gi Province. Out of 769 subjects, 764 completed the questionnaires (99.3%); 369 (48.3%) junior-high school students and 395 (51.7%) high school students. The questionnaires were composed of Young's Internet Addiction, Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile, Perceived Health Status, and general characteristics. We used t-test, ANOVA in means comparison between groups, X2-test in frequency analysis, and multiple regression analysis in multivariate analysis, using the SAS $8.1^{\circledR}$ program. Results : There was a statistically significant difference in Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile according to internet addiction status (severe addiction vs. other status, p<0.0001). The Perceived Health Status scores was lowest in the severe addiction group (p<0.001). There was also a significant negative correlation between internet addiction and Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile (p<0.0001). The results of multiple regression showed that Young's Addiction Score was significant for the subjects' Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile after controlling for other variables (p<0.0001). Conclusions : This study showed that the severe internet addiction group had the lowest score in Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile and Perceived Health Status, which suggests that the addiction could have a negative effect on the health status of adolescents.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze comprehensive lifestyle assessment and other assessments which evaluate essential lifestyle factors, including physical activity, nutrition and activity participation. Methods: To analyze the comprehensive lifestyle assessment, from January 2001 to June 2019, a literature search was conducted using the CINANL, NDSL, PubMed, and RISS databases. The search terms were 'lifestyle assessment' OR 'lifestyle profile' OR 'lifestyle test'. In terms of other assessments of essential factors of lifestyle, from January 2010 to June 2019, articles were searched using similar databases. The search terms were 'physical activity assessment' OR 'physical activity participation profile', 'nutrition assessment', 'activity participation assessment' OR 'activity participation and lifestyle'. Results: A total of 4,165 articles were obtained, and finally 31 articles were selected according to the inclusion criteria. Among 31 articles, there were five with comprehensive lifestyle assessments, and all of them were self-report questionnaires. The most popular assessments were the Health Enhancement Lifestyle Profile (HELP) and the Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile (HPLP), which were used in three articles (33%). In terms of assessment of physical activity, the most frequently used evaluation method was the self-report questionnaire, which was used in seven articles (58%) followed by objective assessments, which were used in four articles (33%). It was demonstrated that the Mini-Nutritional Assessment (MNA) was the most frequently used for nutrition assessment in the elderly. There were five types of assessment tool used for activity participation. Among them, meaningful activity participation assessment (MAPA) was the most frequently used tool. Conclusion: As a result of the systematic review, it was found that there are 21 assessments related to the evaluation of lifestyle in the elderly. Most assessments employed the self-report questionnaire method and mainly evaluated frequency and duration of participation in drinking, smoking, exercise, nutrition and social activities. Assessments of essential lifestyle factors were the self-report questionnaire method and the participation and frequency of activity. Therefore, by analyzing assessment tools, types of items and measurement methods of comprehensive lifestyle assessments and other assessment of essential lifestyle factors, this study provides the basic data on which to develop a standardized assessment tool that can evaluate the multifaceted lifestyle profile of the elderly.

Results : A total of 24 evaluation tools were selected after 5,883 studies reviewed the title, abstract, and full text after deduplication. The detailed results resulted in five lifestyle assessment tools, seven physical activity assessment tools, nine nutrition assessment tools, and three activity participation assessment tools. Conclusion : For the lifestyle assessment tools for children and adolescents, the component items, measurement methods, and age of assessment of each item were analyzed. It is hoped that this will be used as a basis for the development of standardized assessment tools to assess the multi-aspect lifestyles of children and adolescents in the future.

  • Although food related lifestyle has been widely discussed over the last ten years, the majority of research on food related lifestyle has been only conducted in terms of a variable-centered approach. But, recently there is a growing body of research on food related lifestyle profiles over the last three years from the view of a person-centered approach. This study conducted both a cluster analysis and a latent profile analysis (LPA) to identify the patterns of potential food related lifestyle customer profiles based on the five components on the sample of customer, who bought organic products (n=509). The results of each statistical analysis showed both quantitatively and qualitatively different types of food related lifestyle customer profiles even though there were similar types of profiles identified in common between these two analyses. These various profiles were then compared with customer's level of buying behaviors (e.g., buying attitude and buying intentions). Results showed that food related lifestyle profiles with respect to the high level of interesting in dietary life in terms of health and safety are associated with the higher level of buying behaviors. Based on the results, implications for food related lifestyle literature, practices and future research are discussed.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to validate the Child Healthy Lifestyle Profile as an instrument for screening healthy behaviors in school-aged children in South Korea. Methods: Self-reported questionnaires were administered to 454 students, comprising elementary-school students (n=221) and child cancer survivors (n=233). Reliability and validity were assessed using Cronbach's α, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Results: Cronbach's α, as a reliability test, was 0.87. Varimax rotation yielded nine factors with eigenvalues greater than 1 in the EFA, which explained 61.0% of the total variance. In the CFA, both convergent and discriminant validities were acceptable. Therefore, the Child Healthy Lifestyle Profile was validated as an assessment tool for Korean school-aged children. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, the Child Healthy Lifestyle Profile was identified as a reliable and valid instrument for assessing healthy lifestyles in elementary-school children in South Korea.

  • The majority of research on lifestyle has been conducted based on a variable-centered approach. However, over the last decades, there is a growing body of research on lifestyle in terms of a person-centered approach. Hence, this study identifies senior generations' profiles based on the combination of the five realms of lifestyle. More specifically, this study utilized a Latent profile analysis(LPA) to explore both quantitatively and qualitatively distinct types of senior generation' lifestyle profiles. As a result, the five distinct types of senior lifestyle profiles were identified and these five profiles were then contrasted with traveling attitude and behavioral intention(traveling intention). In addition, this study attempted to identify similarity in the patterns of relations with theoretical antecedent, correlate and outcome variables. Results showed that even though senior generation belonging to profile groups pertaining to the high level of all five types of lifestyle were associated with a high level of attitude and behavior intention, there was no differences among the profiles. This means that regardless of the patterns of senor generation lifestyle profiles, there was no similarity. Nevertheless, it should be considered that senior generation consider a security when making a travel ling decision regardless of the patterns of lifestyle profiles. This results suggest that senior generation' traveling satisfaction is more likely obtained with the experience of safety and convenience during their travel. At last, this study discusses some implication tourism theory related to lifestyle, practices and future research on tourism profiles.
