An intrinsic silicon thin film passivation layer is deposited by the microwave remote-plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition at temperature of $175^{\circ}C$ and various gas ratios for solar cell applications. The good quality amorphous silicon films were formed at silane $(SiH_4)$ gas flow rates above 15 seem. The highest effective carrier lifetime was obtained at the $SiH_4$, flow rate of 20 seem and the value was about 3 times higher compared with the bulk lifetime of 5.6 ${\mu}s$ at a fixed injection level of ${\Delta}n\;=\;5{\times}10^{14}\;cm^{-3}$. An annealing treatment was performed and the carrier life times were increased approximately 5 times compared with the bulk lifetime. The optimal annealing temperature and time were obtained at 250 $^{\circ}C$ and 60 sec respectively. This indicates that the combination of the deposition of an amorphous thin film at a low temperature and the annealing treatment contributes to the excellent surface and bulk passivation.

The purpose of the research is to develop a systematic model to interpret makeup signs through a case analysis of makeup shown in Alexander McQueen's ready-to-wear collections from 2001 to 2010 and to prove an importance of makeup as a communication medium to deliver social and cultural values. This research employed Panofsky's Iconology theory to analyze data. This theory consists of three steps to interpret the meaning of a work: (1) pre-iconographical description, (2) iconographical analysis, and (3) iconological interpretation. Alexander McQueen's makeup was analyzed with the three steps in order. As a result of the pre-iconographical description step, makeup styles (icons) in his collections are identified which are Egyptian style, Gothic style, Androgynous style, Victorian style, Fantasia style, and Futuristic variant style. The iconographical analysis step identified that the elements used in his makeup are inspired by his identity and life. In the final step of iconological interpretation, the researcher concluded that Alexander McQueen's makeup expresses social, cultural, and aesthetical value of the time period when the collection was created. His makeup shows postmodernism that accepts a diversity of views (the pluralism) and humanism, romantic narcissism that is his personality trait, and avant-garde that pursues a new, creative aesthetics.

Fascism is a term that began to be used from the late 1930s, means an idea and a system that the strong power of the state intervenes or control people's life based on the argument that the existential value of individuals is found only in the total. Fascist looks, which resulted from World War I and II, had brought a new pattern in women's fashion inspired by men's military uniforms. Thus, the purpose of this study was to identify fascist fashion trends in the first half of the twentieth century and to infer various aesthetic values of fascism expressed in fascist fashion looks. The results of this study indicated that expressions of fascism reflected the current ideology of rebellion and appealed to the original national sentiment of the masses. Fascism occurred in response to the contradiction of capitalism and its general crisis had emerged as an ideology with the highest popularity symbolizing power and government during the first half of the twentieth century. It was expressed in military looks as self-centered nationalism and yearning for minorities. Second, fascist fashion looks were not only for political and sexual temptation with the image of power but also for the display of women's status and roles through the bold expression of sexual attractiveness. Finally, fascist fashion looks expressed medieval images praising the feudal age in imagination that contained heroism and at the same time achieved integration under strict social hierarchical order.

Rubber material properties and lifetime evaluation are very important in design procedure to assure the safety and reliability of the rubber components. This paper discusses the failure mechanism and material tests were carried out to predict the useful lifetime of NBR and EPDM for compression motor, which is used in refrigerator component. The heat-aging process leads not only to mechanical properties change but also to chemical structure change so called degradation. In order to investigate the aging effects on the material properties, the accelerated test were carried out. The stress-strain curves were plotted from the results of the tensile test for virgin and heat-aged rubber specimens. The rubber specimens were heat-aged in an oven at the temperature ranging from $70^{\circ}C\;to\;100^{\circ}C$ for a period ranging from 1 to 180 days. Compression set results changes as the threshold are used for assessment of the useful life and time to threshold value were plotted against reciprocal of absolute temperature to give the Arrhenius plot. By using the compression set test, several useful lifetime prediction equations for rubber material were proposed.

The application of the high-performance insulation materials for buildings seems to be an essential measure for reducing energy use in buildings. Phenolic foam is a readily available insulation material with thermal conductivity of about 0.018 to 0.020 W/(mK). It has the advantage of higher thermal resistance and better fire resistance compared to other conventional building insulation materials. Insulation material used for building envelope is regarded as one of the decisive factors for building's energy load. Furthermore, the degradation of its thermal performance over time increasingly affects the building's energy use demand. Generally, the life span of conventionally built buildings is expected to be more than 50 years, so the long-term performance of insulation materials is critical. This paper aims to evaluate the long-term performance of phenolic form boards through an accelerated aging test. The tests were conducted according to BS EN 13166 and KS M ISO 11561. Based on the results of the accelerated aging test, the thermal performance variation of the material was analyzed, and then its aged value after 25 years was computed. Also, the characteristics of the phenolic foam board's long-term performance were also examined based on the standard testing methods adopted.

In this paper, new efficient lighting control system for light devices is proposed to reduce power consumption and increases LED life-cycle and heat efficiency of LED lighting module. The new proposed lighting control system for light devices divides into 4 stages according to the illuminance surrounding by measuring illuminance and apply to automatic pattern lighting algorithm. And via level check will be light up for set time by applying intersection lighting algorithm of magic square pattern forming a fully symmetrical. Experimental analysis results, shows heating value and power consumption reduced to maximum 30 percent and lifetime of LED improved to maximum 60 percent in comparison with previous lighting system so applying system to LED streetlight, stable and high energy efficiency can be acquired.

This study explored the socio-economic implications of Korean popular songs, of which the prevalence is divided by three periods: During the Japanese colonial period, from the country's liberation to the Korean war, and after the Korean war until the year of 1959. The economic exploration of popular songs per period in this paper has a high value as an interdisciplinary study because they contain not only the economic situation of Korea at the time, but also life affinity and convergence. Moreover, this study is significant as the glocalization strategy, the increment of creativity, and strengthen competitiveness.

This study is purposed to explicate the idea of 'the general design' for the construction of the construction of space of $L\'{a}szl\'{o}$ Moholy-Nagy who has stood against the traditional value system and made an attempt to create a new space-form language. On the basis of unification of perception and reality Moholy-Nagy intended to regenerate the essential aspects of life through an art by bestowing art with an aesthetic foundation and also expanding the art world into the living area. 'The Allgemeine Elementenlehre(the general theory of elements)' of Moholy-Nagy that is distanced from the visual perception as the dominant sense which is based on the principle of representation and imitation, and emphasized on the complicated relationship between the various senses including the tactile sense, offers a pedagogical basis for the space design that is indispensable for the plastic thinking and practice. At the same time it indicates an access route to the primary nature through the spatial construction of the prime elements of nature and man To explicate his idea toward the general theory of design of space, it will be tried first of all to clarify the core points of the empirio-criticism and the constructivism as the theoretical backgrounds of Moholy-Nagy. And then on the basis of these theoretical backgrounds will be analyzed the system and the contents of 'the allgemeine Elementenlehre' as the general space design theory and also the general space design pedagogy.
