Abstract

Virtual reality(VR) is both one of the high-technology and main paradime in leading next genaration of 21th century. It's application spectrum is various and lead to numorous revolotion as well as transition in technical aspect. These change is a good procept of it's value and influence effect in global fields of human life. 21 세기의 핵심기술이 될 가상현실은 차세대를 이끌어갈 주요 패러다임 중 하나로써 광범위한 응용 분야를 창출할 수 있고 기술적인 면에서도 커다란 변혁과 전환을 몰고 올 수 있다. 이러한 변화는 앞으로 인간 생활의 전 분야에 있어 그 가치와 파급효과가 매우 커질 것으로 전망된다. 그러나 국내 가상현실 관련 업체는 대부분 영세한 수준을 벗어나지 못하고 있으며, 업체 간 과다경쟁 및 정보교류의 부족으로 유사 기술에 중복 투자돼 국가적인 손실을 차래하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 본 연구는 가상현실의 여러 분야 중 WebCam을 이용해 실시간으로 받아지는 영상의 특정부분의 위치를 추적하여 보다 더 정확한 위치추적을 할 수 있는 방법을 연구하고자 한다.
