이 연구는 국가기록원이 다양해진 이용자들의 요구를 충족시키기 위한 기록정보서비스 방법 중 하나로 아카이브 이벤트의 활성화 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 미국의 독자적 기록물관리기관인 국립기록관리처(NARA)와 영국의 국립보존기록관(TNA)에서 운영되는 아카이브 이벤트 사례와 국가기록원 아카이브 이벤트를 비교분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 활성화 방안으로 주제 영역의 세분화, 프로그램 유형의 다양화, 아카이브 이벤트의 연계성 강화를 제시하였다.

이 연구는 부산지역 공공도서관의 사회사를 추적하는 과정에 나타난 <도서변상사건>과 <금서사건>이 장서의 축적 과정에 미친 영향을 현상학적으로 분석한 것이다. 도서관의 장서는 그 도서관이 추구하는 목적과 이용자의 요구를 두 축으로 하여 축적되는 것이 원칙이지만, 우리 나라 공공도서관의 경우 사회${\cdot}$정치적인 상황이 오히려 더 큰 영향을 미쳐왔다고 볼 수 있다. <도서변상사건>과 <금서사건>은 이런 사회 정치적인 상황이 도서관에 발현된 대표적인 사례라 할만하다. 이들 사건은 공공도서관 직원들의 창의성을 말살시키면서 수동적이고 순응적인 성향으로 변질시켜 버리는 결과를 낳았을 뿐만 아니라, 공공도서관의 장서가 편향성을 띤 채 축적될 수밖에 없는 중요한 요인이 되었다고 볼 수 있다.

Information science is the study how in formation is transferred and all the intermediate steps of collecting, organizing, interpreting, storing, retrieving, disseminating and trans foming information. Professional education means the transfer of knowledge, the development of cognitive abilities and the infusion of professional attitudes. Training may be defined as practice-based instruction in the development and use of professional skills. Each is affected by the confluence of social, economic and technological realities of the environment where the learning takes place. We have witnessed controversy about methods of curriculum revision and change. Should information science courses be added to the traditional library science curriculum or should the new approaches be integrated within the subject matter of each individual course? The article is based upon the assumption that education for librarianship is at a turning point. To provide this information, 25 curricula of colleges and universities were analysed to assist in the study. Also 32 information professionals were asked to assist in the study. In the experimental part of this study, curricula based on the education and training of library and information profession als were examined. The most frequently offered compulsory course 'Introduction to Information Science' exposes students to a new way of looking at library and information problems. Information retrieval, library automation, computer programming, data processing, indexing and abstraction, communication, system analysis has offered. These indicate a curriculum slowly shift from traditional librarianship to an emphasis on computerization and automation. Also from a questionnaire listing 58 events might influence library and information science education.

본 연구는 국내 259개 4년제 대학도서관 전체를 대상으로 전화면담과 도서관 웹사이트 조사를 통하여 도서관 웹진을 운영하고 있는 36개 대학도서관의 웹진 발행현황과 웹진의 구성 즉, 카테고리 및 콘텐츠의 내용을 비교분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학도서관은 주로 온라인 웹 방식으로 웹진을 운영하고 있다. 둘째, 대학도서관 웹진의 카테고리 구성은 도서관 공지 및 소식, 학술 DB 활용, 신착도서, 추천도서, 정보 활용, 서평, 도서관 이용 Tip, 테마/특집, 서비스 정보, 퀴즈, 한마디(칼럼), 행사/이벤트의 12가지로 압축된다. 셋째, 카테고리 중에는 도서관 공지 및 소식을 제공하는 도서관이 가장 많으며, 다음은 서비스 정보, 도서관 이용 Tip, 테마/특집, 추천도서의 순이다.

The Purpose of this paper is to suggest directions for the future education of Library management. For this purpose, some theoretical backgrounds are traced based on the historical events, the standards provided by international and national organizations, and theories suggested through researches. And the percentages of library management subjects in the curricula of ten Library and Information Science Departments are calculated divided by compulsory and elective ones, along with the contents analyses of a few textbooks in the field. The hypotheses to be tested are as follows: 1. The American postgraduate library education was introduced into Korea as an undergraduate course. So the importance of the subject of library management was recognized as in America, and the numbers of subject Would have been increased, and the contents detailed. 2. The contents of the subject taught would not have changed much since its introduction. It means that they will be almost the same as those were prevalent in the United States of America in the 1950s, when the American education was brought into Korea. The hypotheses can be accepted as being true. Based on the conclusions, some suggestions, including the teaching of the subject should be directed more towards management aspects rather than administrative ones, are provided.

학교도서관이 운영하는 프로그램은 자원과 이용자를 연결하는 구체적인 전략이다. 따라서 사서교사는 학교도서관 활성화를 위해서, 교내 외 자원 간의 관계를 구축할 수 있는 파트너십을 형성할 필요가 있다. 그러나 현재 중학교도서관이 운영하는 프로그램에 대한 파트너십 분석 결과, 대부분의 프로그램이 교내 독서 행사 중심으로 운영되고 있다. 그리고 교과교사와 교외 인적자원의 참여가 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해서는 학습 공동체에서 학교도서관의 교육적 위상을 강화할 수 있는 사서교사의 리더십과 협동적 네트워크를 개발하는 것이 매우 중요하다.

전자도서와 관련된 분야는 빠르게 변화하고 있으며 관련된 행사, 문헌, 기사 등과 관련된 최신 정보를 유지하는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 전자도서는 PC혹은 휴대용 단말기를 통하여 열람하므로 스크린의 질에 다소 제한적인 요소를 갖고 있으나 휴대용 단말기의 가격은 점진적으로 저렴하게 되고 질은 높아지므로 전자도서의 미래는 긍정적이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 최근의 전자도서 관련 행사, 기술 등과 관련된 배경 지식을 기반으로 전자도서를 분류하여 관련 추세를 분석하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 대학도서관에서 전자도서를 도입하는 경우 이와 관련된 여러 환경과 이슈를 파악하여 전자도서의 도입과 운영시 고려하여야 하는 요소를 구분하여 그 해결책과 미래의 추세를 제시하고자 하였다.

분산 프로그램의 디버깅이 순차 프로그램의 디버깅보다 어려운 이유 중의 하나로 수행 중인 프로세스들간의 통신을 들 수 있다. 비록 분산 시스템을 위해 구축된 디버거들이 많이 있으나, 프로세스들 간의 통신 이벤트를 효과적으로 디버깅할 수 있는 실용적인 수준의 디버거는 없는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 분산 시스템이 개발에서 널리 이용되는 RPC 통신을 실시간으로 추적하고 통신내용을 파악함으로써 분산 프로그램을 효율적으로 디버깅하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 RPC 통신 이벤트를 디버깅 객체로 정의한 이벤트 모델을 제안하고 이에 기초하여 RPC 통신 이벤트 추적 기능을 구현하였다. RPC 프로토콜을 분석한 결과를 이용함으로써 메시지의 송·수신 이벤트를 라이브러리 함수의 호출과 자료의 값으로 기술할 수 있었고, 라이브러리 함수의 호출이 발생한 위치를 인지함으로써, 모든 통신 이벤트의 발생을 탐지할 수 있었다. 제안된 RPC 이벤트 추적 기능은 온라인 분산 디버거인 유니뷰 시스템에 구현되었다.

Chloral hydrate is the oldest and most common sedative drug used in moderate sedation for pediatric dental patients. Hence, the purpose of this article is to review the safety and possible adverse events of this drug when used for pediatric dental treatment. A bibliographic search in PubMed, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library and KMbase, KISS, DBpia, KoreaMed, and RISS databases was performed. Using the keywords "dental sedation," "chloral hydrate," and "children or adolescent," 512 scientific articles were found. Subsequently, 183 studies were individually assessed for their suitability for inclusion in this literature review. Altogether, 24 studies were selected. They included 12 cases of death before, during, or after chloral hydrate sedation for dental treatment, majorly due to dosing error and use of multiple sedatives. Additionally, intraoperative adverse events were mostly respiratory problems such as hypoxia and apnea, but most events were temporary. After treatment, prolonged sedation, including excessive sleep and less activity were the most common postoperative adverse events, and even death cases were reported. Despite the wide acceptance of chloral hydrate as a sedative-hypnotic agent, the risk of adverse events and adequate dose should be of great concern when using it for pediatric dental sedation.

본 연구는 부산시 공공도서관의 운영현황 분석을 통한 향후 발전방향을 도모하기 위한 것이다. 연구결과, 첫째, 일반적 이용현황은 대부분 소설대출이나 개인공부를 목적으로 방문하고, 도서관관련 정보나 행사는 오프라인을 통한 검색이 이루어지고 있었다. 둘째, 온라인서비스사용기간이나 웹사이트 방문빈도는 낮았으나, 컴퓨터 설치확대와 홈엑세스가 가능하도록 하는 온라인DB의 기술개선을 요구하였다. 셋째, 공공도서관에 대한 지역사회의 서비스중요성은 매우 중요하게 인식하고 있었다. 도서관 운영지표 중 지역서비스의 중요성(m=3.86)은 높게 나타났다. 그러나 참고데스크(m=2.87), 체크아웃데스크(m=2.41), 컴퓨터가용성(m=2.47) 및 최신자료유용성(m=2.64)에서는 평균값이 3.0에 미치지 못한 것으로 나타남으로써 공공도서관의 운영정책이 실질이용자의 요구사항을 제대로 반영하지 못한 것으로 나타났다.
