  • This paper develop curnel based high speed packet filtering imbedded gateway and firewall using cloud database. This study develop equipment include of predict function through bigdata analysis using cloud system. This equipment include intrusion prevention for network attack, and include system security function of L7 switch based contents. This study can improve security level of little company and general family. This study can pioneer a new market. This study can develop high perfomance switch and replacement of existing security equipment. This study proposed new next generation algorithm for constuction of high performance system from low specifications.

  • In this paper, we proposed new maximum electric power tracking algorithm by composing Buck-boost chopper circuit to charge electric power from wind energy generator which is under low and high wind velocity. The break function is also proposed with the existed buck-boost chopper switch. We made a proto-type as a lab level to verify appropriateness of using proposed circuit.

  • For the measurement of liquid level in ship's cargo tank, ballast tank, fuel oil tank and fresh water tank, several types of gauge meter are used such as tubular type, magnetic float type, reflex type transparent type and welding pad type. Among them, magnetic float type gauge meter is environmental friendly device because it is free of power source and maintenance. The main obstacle of the device is relatively large error bound. In this paper, finite element method is used to design and analysis of the magnetic float type gauge meter. The operation of reed switch according to the magnetic field has been successfully described and agreed well with experimental measurement. The optimum geometry with combination of permanent magnet and reed switches are designed to achieve 98 % accuracy of fluid level.

  • The cascaded H Bridge (CHB) multilevel inverter (MLI) is popular among the classical MLI topologies due to its modularity and reliability. Although space vector modulation (SVM) is the most suitable modulation scheme for MLIs, it has not been used widely in industry due to the higher complexity involved in its implementation. In this paper, a simple and novel generalized SVM algorithm is proposed, which has both reduced time and space complexity. The proposed SVM involves the generalization of both the duty cycle calculation and switching sequence generation for any n-level inverter. In order to generate the gate pulses for an inverter, a generalized switch matrix (SM) for the CHB inverter is also introduced, which further simplifies the algorithm. The algorithm is tested and verified for three-phase, three-level and five-level CHB inverters in simulations and hardware implementation. A comparison of the proposed method with existing SVM schemes shows the superiority of the proposed scheme.

  • This paper considers a TMN-based management system for the management of public ATM switching networks using a four-level hierarchical structure consisting of one network management system, several element management systems, and several agent-ATM switch pairs. Using Jackson's queuing model, we analyze the effects of one TMN command on the performance of the component ATM switch in processing local calls. The TMN command considered is the permanent virtual call connection. We analyze four performance measures of ATM switches- utilization, mean queue length and mean waiting time for the processor directly interfacing with the subscriber lines and trunks, and the call setup delay of the ATM switch- and compare the results with those from Jackson's queuing model.

  • In this experiment, we developed a mind switching device which uses $\alpha$-wave with its amplitude varying between the eye-open and closed states. If the subject closes eyes, the switch toggles with a small delay. The circuit consists of an amplifier, a filter and a switch. An instrument amplifier is used fur high CMRR and for high input impedance. An 8th order Butterworth filter was able to reduce noise satisfactorily. The signal is then converted to a DC level, and finally a Schmitt trigger was used to generate a switching pulse.

Fault Tolerant Control Methods for Dual Type Independent Multi-Phase BLDC Motor under the Open-Switch Fault Conditions

  • Dual type Independent multi-phase BLDC Motor (DI-BLDCM) is designed to be robust to faulty conditions of motor and drive system. Despite the efforts of the motor design, open-switch faults of DI-BLDCM drive system cause the torque ripple of the motor. This torque ripple makes unwanted sound noise and mechanical vibration of associated systems. This paper proposes four methods for compensating the torque ripple and compares the characteristics of each proposed method. All proposed methods are able to reduce the torque ripple to similar level of the healthy condition, although the motor operates in open-switch fault conditions. However, these methods have different characteristics in various fault conditions. Therefore, from the results of the comparison, the suitable method is selected for the various fault conditions. The feasibility of the proposed methods is proved by the several experimental results.

  • This paper presents a single-pole eight-throw switch, based on an eight-way power divider, using substrate integrate waveguide(SIW) technology. Eight sectorial-lines are formed by inserting radial slot-lines on the top plate of SIW power divider. Each sectorial-line can be controlled independently with high level of isolation. The switching is accomplished by altering the capacitance of the varactor on the line, which causes different input impedances to be seen at a central probe to each sectorial line. The proposed structure works as a switching circuit and an eight-way power divider depending on the bias condition. The change in resonant frequency and input impedance are estimated by adapting a tapered transmission line model. The detailed design, fabrication, and measurement are discussed.

Switch-on Phenomena and Field Emission from Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes Embedded in Glass

  • This paper describes a new design of carbon nanotube tip. $Nanocly^{TM}$ NC 7000 Thin Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes of carbon purity (90%) and average diameter tube 9.5 nm with a high aspect-ratio (>150) were used. These tips were manufactured by employing a drawing technique using a glass puller. The glass microemitters with internal carbon nanotubes show a switch-on effect to a high current level (1 to $20{\mu}A$). A field electron microscope with a tip (cathode)-screen (anode) separation at ~10 mm was used to characterize the electron emitters. The system was evacuated down to a base pressure of ${\sim}10^{-9}$ mbar when baked at up to ${\sim}200^{\circ}C$ overnight. This allowed measurements of typical Field Electron Emission characteristics; namely the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics and the emission images on a conductive phosphorus screen (the anode). Fowler-Nordheim plots of the current-voltage characteristics show current switch-on for each of these emitters.

  • In this paper, the authors introduce a high-speed microprocessor based on automatic vacuum capacitor switch with a modified digital filter design using distributed arithmetic. The automation trends particularly the automatic vacuum capacitor switch has helped ameliorate the power factor essentials and automatically triggered to close when the line current exceeds rated value. Microprocessor relays use digital filters to extract only the fundamental and attenuate harmonics. To provide optimum speed characteristics a distributed arithmetic based filter design in the microprocessor controller which not only enhances filtering speed but additionally enables lower power consumption at the cost of area has been introduced. The result is a unified description that describes a digital filter structure down to bit level.
