Availability Assessment of GPS Augmentation System Using QZSS at Urban Environment of seoul (서울 도심지에서의 QZSS를 이용한 GPS 확장시스템의 가용도 평가)

  • This paper analyzes the availability and Dilution Of Precision (DOP) of GPS, widely used in positioning, with and without augmentation using QZSS (Quasi-Zenith Satellite System). Orbit simulator for QZSS is developed using Kepler‘s orbital parameters. Also 3D modeling technique based on three-Dimensional GIS digital map and satellite tracking algorithm for visible satellite simulation system are discussed. Performance improvement of the availability and DOP were achieved by combining GPS with QZSS at urban environment of Seoul.

  • The idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome consists of peripheral blood eosinophilia of $1500/mm^3$ or more without a known cause, plus signs and symptoms of organ eosinophilia. The prognosis of HES without treatment is poor. However, about one third of the patients with this syndrome may respond to corticosteroid thrapy. Morever, the majority of the remainder may have a favorable response to hydroxyurea. We present here a case of hypereosinophilic syndrome without any identifiable causes, involving bone marrow, liver, lungs and cervical lymph node. We tried corticosteroid as a treatment but it showed no response. However the hydroxyurea showed good response.

  • This paper is about the extraction of basis function for ECG signal processing. In the first step, it is assumed that ECG signal consists of linearly mixed independent source signals. 12 channel ECG signals, which were sampled at 600sps, were used and the basis function, which can separate and detect source signals - QRS complex, P and T waves, - was found by applying the fast fixed point algorithm, which is one of learning algorithms in independent component analysis(ICA). The possibilities of significant point detection and classification of normal and abnormal ECG, using the basis function, were suggested. Finally, the proposed method showed that it could overcome the difficulty in separating specific frequency in ECG signal processing by wavelet transform. And, it was found that independent component analysis(ICA) could be applied to ECG signal processing for detection of significant points and classification of abnormal beats.

  • 귀중한 수자원을 효율적으로 관리하고 홍수 피해를 저감하고 환경친화적인 수자원의 역할을 제대로 자리매김하기 위하여 무엇보다 필요한 사항은 신뢰성 있는 유량자료를 기초자료로서 확보하는 것이다. 그러나 유량 측정에 필요한 측정기준의 불명확, 예산과 측정장비의 부족, 전문 인력의 부재로 인해 그동안 유량자료에 대한 문제 제기가 계속되어 온 것이 사실이다. 최근 유량조사사업단의 설립과 함께 정도 높은 유량자료를 생성하고자 유량측정을 전문적으로 담당하는 인력이 유량측정과 분석을 일상적으로 수행하는 등 개선의 노력을 계속하고 있다. 강화된 유량측정 기준과 개선된 방법론에 따른 현장측정을 통해 정밀한 유량측정성과를 확보하였으며, 측정된 유량측정성과의 일상 검증을 통해 보다 정밀한 유량측정성과를 확보하고자 하였다. 또한 유량자료를 생성하여 이를 평가함으로써 유량측정 전 과정이 적절하게 이루어졌는지를 평가하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 낙동강 수계 본류의 주요 9개 대상 지점에 대해 신뢰성 있는 수위-유량관계곡선을 개발할 수 있었다. 개발된 곡선식을 이용하여 유량자료를 생성하고 상 하류간 비교, 유출률 분석 등을 통해 생성된 유량자료를 검토하였다. 확정된 유량자료는 양질의 수준을 갖는 것으로 평가되었다.

  • In these days, properties of concrete has been demanded to be high performance because concrete structure was bigger and higher. So studies on high strength concrete and lightweight concrete has been frequently done. But lightweight concrete has been used to limited non-structural elements in th country. Lightweight aggregate mixed with lightweight concrete was only coarse aggregate in case of the structural lightweight concrete. In the country studies on the lightweight concrete was poor and unvaried. Also it is difficult to be practical use of lightweight concrete was that it has been expensive. It was study on the using fine lightweight aggregate with lightweight concrete to crushed by-products and wastes to get to make foamed glass with recycled glass. So it was tested by fine aggregate standard and mixed with.

  • For the purpose of estimating the sex and age in the remains of Catholic martyrs, the authors investigated size, shape and attrition of teeth, morphology of pulp cavity, and the changes of jaws. The 22 teeth, upper and lower jaws, the 23 teeth, upper and lower jaws, the 6 teeth and the 1 tooth were referred from The Pusan Research Institute for Church History in Pusan Catholic Parish. The results were as follows : 1. The 22 teeth, upper and lower jaws presumed to be Lee, Kwan Bok were evaluated to be in the latter half of female thirties. 2. The 23 teeth, upper and lower jaws presumed to be Kim, So ja, Maria were evaluated to be in the middle of male thirties. 3. The 6 teeth presumed to be lee, Jung Suk were evaluated to be in the earlier half of male forties. 4. The 1 tooth presumed to be Lee, Sam jo was evaluated to be in the latter half of male forties.

  • Recently construction work in Korea, demands of favorable condition ground had been increased with industrialization acceleration and economic growth. However, because of limited land space, it was so hard to ensure favorable condition grounds that construction work proceeds until soft ground area on plans of road, railroad and industrial complex. In this case, soft ground improvement was required such as a stone column method. Stone column method, making a compaction pile using crushed stone, is a soft ground improvement method. However, stone column method is difficult to apply to the ground which is not mobilized enough lateral confine pressure because no bulging failure resistance. Hence, in present study, evaluates the stone columns reinforced by geogrid for settlement reduction and wide range of application of stone columns. Triaxial compression tests were conducted for evaluation which is about behavior characteristics of stone column on replacement rate. Then, 3-dimensional numerical analysis were conducted for application of stone column reinforced by geogrid as evaluate behavior characteristics and settlement reduction effect of stone column reinforced by geogrid on reinforcing depth change of geogrid.

  • Hydrogen peroxide is one of major chemicals mediating antitumor and antimicrobial activities of macrophages. We searched natural products enhancing hydrogen peroxide generation from murine macrophage-like cell line J774. Among 21 methanol extracts of Korean medicinal plants, the extract from Cornus officinalis was the most effective. The active component from the fractions was searched by activity guided fractionation, and identified as ursolic acid by spectral data.

  • MRI imaging is one of the imaging techniques showing anatomical structures of human body for medical diagnosis, and has been researched in order to provide better quality of anatomical information. In this study, we propose a very useful method to extract an interest areas and how to diagnose necrolysis of femoral neck disease automatically. Regions of femoral neck is set using anatomical features and Hough transform and advantages of both region extension and histogram-based region segmentation method are combined for better region segmentation. As a result of the proposed method, good imaging quality was obtained for femoral neck with both normal and severe necrosis as well as for femoral neck in early stage of necrolysis.

  • 본 연구에서는 GaAs p-i-n 태양전지구조에 InAs 양자점을 삽입하여 계면의 전기장 변화를 Photoreflectance (PR) 방법으로 연구하였다. InAs/GaAs 양자점 태양전지구조는 n-GaAs 기판위에 p-i-n 구조의 태양전지를 분자선박막성장 장치를 이용하여 제작하였다. GaAs p-i-n 태양전지와 p-QD(i)-n 양자점 태양전지를 제작하여 계면전기장의 변화를 PR 신호에 나타난 Franz-Keldysh oscillation (FKO)으로부터 측정하였다. 기본적인 p-i-n 구조에서 두 가지 전기장성분을 검출 하였고 양자점 태양전지구조에서는 39 kV/cm 이상의 내부전기장이 존재함을 관측하였다. 이러한 내부전기장은 양자점 주변에 형성된 국소전기장의 효과로 추측하였다. 아울러 양자점을 AlGaAs 양자우물 구조에 삽입하여 케리어의 구속에 의한 FKO의 변화를 관측하였으며 양자점 태양전지의 구조적 변화에 따른 효율을 측정하여 비교 분석하였다.
