The purposes of the study were to examine the effect of 'Hands-on Science Class at School' program on students' scientific attitude and interest, and to investigate the satisfaction differences by students, lecturers, and local operating organizations respectively. For this study, 1,054 students from 1st to 6th grade participated in the national-wide survey, while they engaged in the program activities during 3 months. 496 students participated in scientific attitude test and 558 students answered to scientific interest test. For the program satisfaction survey, 689 out of 1,054 students, 363 lecturers and 55 local operating organizations also participated. The data show that 'Hands-on Science Class at School' program gave positive influences on students' scientific attitude improvement. The program also had considerable effects on increasing students' interest toward science as well. The satisfaction survey results showed that students' satisfaction with the program was significantly higher than lecturers'. The educational implications are discussed.

Many studies have shown that job performance and leadership are important in our society. In addition, to improve the quality of work or to improve the work efficiency is still a lot of challenges for each leader. In Vietnam, there are few specific studies on the impact of leadership styles on employee engagement such as: transformational leadership styles, business leadership styles and leadership styles. In the field of higher education, the fewer studies on these issues. A study is conducted to test the impact of leadership styles on the engagement of cadres, lecturers and staff at public universities in Vietnam. Using adjustment techniques, inspecting the scales and theoretical models representing the relationship among the influential factors. The research is based on a sample of 309 cadres, lecturers and staff currently working in universities in Vietnam and used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationships among the variables. The study results show that the scales of the variables: transformational leadership, transactional leadership, laissez faire leadership, job satisfaction and organizational engagement attain the validity and reliability in the research. The study results also show transformational leadership, transactional leadership and laissez faire leadership are directly and indirectly affected by job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

This research proposed management plan of internal lecturer who is in charge of job training of researchers working in administrative, researching and developing institutes or public institutions related to information security. The education and training department of the government or public institutions selects and manages lecturers in member of the staff. We applied to the management plan of internal lecturers who are in charge of information security job training by analyzing the way in which internal lecturers are operated by public organizations or corporations. We propose the management plan of internal lecturer according to the position, because the institute of information security is applying the researcher 's position(rank) system. By the proposed circulation management plan by the position, the internal lecturer position is determined according to the position of the employees to be trained and the internal lecturer is selected and operated only at the same position. The proposed management plan includes internal lecturer selection, responsibilities and duties, education, evaluation, and training support.

Competitive aggressiveness has long been believed to be the direct trigger for increased business performance, however, as a mediating variable it still needs to be further proven. This paper aims to examine the causal relationship between network capability, knowledge creation, innovativeness, competitive aggressiveness, and business performance of private universities. One model is proposed to test the role of competitive aggressiveness as a mediating variable. The population is lecturers at the 10 best private universities in East Java, Indonesia. Analysis by SEM, on 230 respondents, using random sampling method. The results show that the model is accepted, and competitive aggressiveness is proven to be a positive mediating variable in the relationship of network capability, knowledge creation, innovativeness, and business performance. The results also show that knowledge creation, and innovativeness, have an effect on competitive aggressiveness, while network capability has no effect. The research implication is that management should encourage lecturers and organizations to be more productive in conducting research and writing articles published in reputable journals, this will increase the ranking of universities. In order for the lecturers be more enthusiastic, the management gave an award to each lecturer who could submit their articles, which were then published by reputable journals.

Information security breach is a major risk in e-learning. This study presents the potential information security disruptions in Learning Management Systems (LMS) from the perspective of users. We use the Technology Acceptance Model approach as a user perception model of information security, and the results of a questionnaire comprising 44 questions for instructors and students across Indonesia to verify the model. The results of the data analysis and model testing reveals that lecturers and students perceive the level of information security in the LMS differently. In general, the information security aspects of LMSs affect the perceptions of trust of student users, whereas such a correlation is not found among lecturers. In addition, lecturers perceive information security aspect on Moodle is and Google Classroom differently. Based on this finding, we recommend that institutions make more intense efforts to increase awareness of information security and to run different information security programs.

Although most of Korean PT professors and clinical lecturers has been thought the importance of the PT student's clinical practice, there has got a lot of training problems in clinical field. As the result, of our survey study pointed out trouble of the (1) training duration (2) training credits (3) training evaluation (4) training workbook (5) training fee (6) training hospital numbers and (7) training quality etc, in Korean today's situation. So we suggest the Internship-training system for above half a year after student has got a PT licence, as a desired training model.

Recently web based lectures in Engineering education are on the increasing. It is required to evaluate student's records on the web. This paper presents web based evaluation system which can evaluate efficiently a stage of understanding in the learning process. The proposed web based evaluation system is designed and implemented using PHP and ORACLE. Lecturers can manage their questions for an examination and learners also can sit for an exam anytime, anywhere, confirm their score in this system. Therefor it provide lecturers and learners with feedback education.

In Saudi Arabia, female students tend to struggle with the basics of computer programming, especially coding. To better understand why female students sometimes perform poorly in this discipline, this qualitative study aims to obtain the views of female computer programming teachers at a Saudi university on using mobile learning (m-learning) methods in computer programming lectures. Ten teachers from the all-female Aljouf University were interviewed to assess their perceptions of m-learning, in particular, the usefulness of ViLLE visualisation software. Data were analysed using thematic analysis. Most interview responses about m-learning and ViLLE were positive, although there were some notable negative responses. The Saudi culture-related responses were evenly divided between positive and negative, reflecting the culture's limitations.

It is necessary for the engineering students to have a business mind for the contemporary world of business. We developed a focused management education program for engineering students in C-University. The management education program consists of both on-line and off-line learning. ABEEK requires 720 engineering students of C-University must take basic management course. The on-line lecture was developed to overcome the shortage of qualified lecturers in business school. On-line lecture made by the business school faculty(not lecturers) can evenly provide high-quality content for every engineering students. In addition, the program is designed that off-line classes administered by lecturers complements the limitations of on-line lecture. Having in mind that selected senior engineering students understand technology and basic business, we developed an advanced course focusing on technology-oriented venture businesses. On and off-line blended learning and two-step approach of management education for engineering students of C-University may shed some light on other engineering schools in similar situation.

This study is for understanding the experiences of students and lecturers in education course for the certification of the long-term caregiver. Samples are 12 students who had completed the course and 7 lecturers. The depth-interview is performed for gathering information and the phenomenological approach is applied to analyse the cases. 33 meanings, 15 themes and 4 theme clusters for students and 25 meanings, 11 themes and 4 theme clusters are found from the cases. Students' experiences are 'vague motivation for enrollment', 'low quality of education,' 'lack of professional skills after the completion of the course,' 'needs for improvement the course' and lecturers' experiences are 'more interests in benefits than study(students' motivation),' 'low quality of education,' 'lack of governmental administration,' 'needs for improvement of the course and the long-term care insurance.' In conclusion, some recommendations are suggested.
