  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the types of lesson and its effectiveness with digital textbook. To address those goals, we had observed five classes of the primary school, which designated as a research pilot school for digital textbook. Based on the result of observation, 3 types of lesson with digital textbook were categorized: Teacher-directed lecture (type 1), Blended learning (type 2), and Flipped learning (type 3). Depending on the type of lesson was analyzed the positive and negative effectiveness by means of matrix analysis method. As a result, in Teacher-directed lecture (type 1), there was found out the participation of the lesson in atmosphere of stable and comfortable as positive experience, also digital textbook operating immature and boring as negative experience. In Blended learning (type 2), there was found out the fun by sharing the product and peer feedback, and flow by learning transfer as positive experience, also digital textbook operating immature and understanding the difference between assignments as negative experience. In Flipped learning (type 3), there was shown the positive attitude and ownership in the lesson as positive experience, also distracting and boring in the lesson when learner was excluded in participation as negative experience. Based on the results, we suggested some strategies for improving positive experience and protecting negative experience in the lesson with using digital textbook.

  • This study was to investigate the changes in nutrition knowledge, nutrition attitude and food habit during 'meal management and diet' course to nonmajor university students by questionnaires. 280 students of Chungnam university who registered nonmajor 'meal management and diet' course in the 2003 were the subjects. The results of this study are as follows. BMIs of male and female students were 21.5 and 19.3. According to BMI, underweight subjects were $24.3\%$, normal and overweight (danger & obesity) subjects were each $62.4\%$ and $13.6\%$, respectively. The nutrition knowledge scores significantly (p < 0.001) increased from 12.1 to 14.0 after the lecture, and the uncertainty rate of nutrition know- ledge decreased significantly. Also, there were no significant differences in nutrition attitude score (39.5 to 39.8 points). Female subjects showed significantly (p < 0.05) higher nutrition knowledge scores (12.3 points) than male (11.4 points). $20\%$ of the subjects smoked and $82.9\%$ had alcohol drinks and $24.4\%$ exercised more than 3 times per week. The subjects who ate regular meals significantly increased from 9.3 to $12.5\%$ after the lecture, and smoking subjects decreased from 20 to $13\%$, but alcohol drinking subjects did not changed significantly.

  • This research was conducted in order to know how influential the acknowledgment of factors such as the quality of educational contents and the conducting of off-line lectures is in terms of effective learning for leaners. Based on the satisfaction-importance model of the multi-attribute attitude model, this study would like to clarify the degree to which the quality of on-line contents of on-line education and the simultaneous conducting of off-line lectures influences one's learning attitude. On-line contents satisfaction will evaluated through the three categories: audio lectures, video lecture and WEI lectures, which make up the quality of on-line contents. We would also like to do a survey on the transformation of learning attitudes when on-line and off-line lectures were conducted simultaneously.
