The purpose of the study was to investigate how Korean EFL writing instructors give feedback to their students' writing and what influences their feedback. A total of 12 Korean EFL instructors in Korean universities teaching freshman English and intermediate EFL writing courses provided their feedback given on students' writing samples and participated in interviews. Interviews were analyzed qualitatively with a constant comparative approach and some data from writing samples and questionnaires produced descriptive statistics. The first lesson from the results of the study was that grammar was still the most frequent concern in giving feedback on students' writing. Contrary to the participants' report, comments on content and organization were not produced very often. The second lesson came from the interview data. Some aspects of teacher feedback seemed mostly influenced by their beliefs on L2 writing and experience in teaching L2 writing. The final and major lesson was that teachers chose how they would give comments on students' writing depending on whether they found their feedback helpful in students learning to write. EFL writing teachers can produce effective feedback by clearly communicating their beliefs about L2 writing and criteria in their feedback to students in their EFL writing classrooms.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of the FES-gait with augmented feedback training to the FES alone on the gait and functional performance in individuals with chronic stroke. Methods: This study used a pretest and posttest randomized control design. The subjects who signed the agreement were randomly divided into 12 experimental groups and 12 control groups. The experimental groups performed two types of augmented feedback training (knowledge of performance and knowledge of results) together with FES, and the control group performed FES on the TA and GM without augmented feedback and then walked for 30 minutes for 40 meters. Both the experimental groups and the control groups received training five times a week for four weeks. Results: The groups that received the FES with augmented feedback training significantly showed a greater improvement in single limb support (SLS) and gait velocity than the groups that received FES alone. In addition, timed up and go (TUG) test and six minute walk test (6MWT) showed a significant improvement in the groups that received FES with augmented feedback compared to the groups that received FES alone. Conclusion: Compared with the existing FES gait training, augmented feedback showed improvements in gait parameters, walking ability, and dynamic balance. The augmented feedback will be an important method that can provide motivation for motor learning to stroke patients.

This study presents a recurrent compensatory fuzzy neural network (RCFNN) for dynamic system identification. The proposed RCFNN uses a compensatory fuzzy reasoning method, and has feedback connections added to the rule layer of the RCFNN. The compensatory fuzzy reasoning method can make the fuzzy logic system more effective, and the additional feedback connections can solve temporal problems as well. Moreover, an online learning algorithm is demonstrated to automatically construct the RCFNN. The RCFNN initially contains no rules. The rules are created and adapted as online learning proceeds via simultaneous structure and parameter learning. Structure learning is based on the measure of degree and parameter learning is based on the gradient descent algorithm. The simulation results from identifying dynamic systems demonstrate that the convergence speed of the proposed method exceeds that of conventional methods. Moreover, the number of adjustable parameters of the proposed method is less than the other recurrent methods.

We present a P-type iterative learning control(ILC) scheme for uncertain robotic systems that perform the same tasks repetitively. The proposed ILC scheme comprises a linear feedback controller consisting of position error, and a feedforward and feedback teaming controller updated by current velocity error. As the learning iteration proceeds, the joint position and velocity mrs converge uniformly to zero. By adopting the learning gain dependent on the iteration number, we present joint position and velocity error bounds which converge at the arbitrarily tuned rate, and the joint position and velocity errors converge to zero in the iteration domain within the adopted error bounds. In contrast to other existing P-type ILC schemes, the proposed ILC scheme enables analysis and tuning of the convergence rate in the iteration domain by designing properly the learning gain.

The goal of this research is to prove the efficiency of direct instruction by developing and applying an ICT teaching and learning course for physical education based on a direct instruction model. The curriculum for physical education requires the instructors example and feedback, and sometimes classes may be difficult to conduct due to reasons such as weather conditions. Also, in actual learning, the application of a learning model is inadequate. In these cases, using an ICT teaching and learning course, experts can show examples instead. The learners are provided with individual and suitable feedback and can make it practical for them by slowing down motions, sectional motion learning, and repetitive learning. It can also enhance the sharing of the instructors teaching and learning methods. Therefore, this research recomposed the commonly used direct teaching and learning methods in physical education in order to make it suitable for ICT utilized lessons. It was recomposed in a procedural model and each level was explicated, and in order to materialize this, an ICT teaching and learning course was developed. This was then applied to a Fifth grade class, and its learning effects were analyzed.
Introduction : The purpose of scholarly paper is to review of motor learning concepts and to examine in integration of motor learning research finding in occupational therapy services for adults with hemiplegia. Body : The principles of motor learning is stage of learning, type of task, practice and feedback. Depending on stage of learning, therapist need to apply of the principles. In early stage of learning, therapists should be promote patient's awareness about therapeutic goals, task performance environment and how to perform. Whole practice, blocked practice and constant practice improve performance skill. In the latter stage of learning, therapists have to design a intervention protocol for patient to use the implicit feedback. Random practice and open task facilitates performance skills. Conclusion : When establishing the a intervention plan for adults with hemiplegia, therapists should systematically developed the principles of motor learning. Intervention program must be established by applying the principles of motor learning in accordance with the learner's level of task performance, and modified depending on the therapeutic progress.

There has been a lot of interest in flipped learning, but lacked practical research to support the faculty developing flipped learning courses in higher education institutions. The purpose of this study is to develop a consulting model for developing a flipped learning course that can be practically used by institutions such as center for teaching and learning that support faculty teaching to improve the quality of instruction. A 'Coaching based on flip learning course development consulting model' was derived through literature review and expert feedback. The 8-step model is as follows: 1) survey of class development, 2) course orientation, 3) flipped learning, 4) expert class analysis, 5) flipped learning coaching, 6) flipped learning operation, 7) instructor reflection, and 8) feedback and revision. Based on the results of this study, it is possible to provide professional and practical guide systematically, and also help to improve quality of lesson.
Touch screen phone which is expected to play a big part of the mobile market for the next few years, has many merits but demerits of inaccurate feedback. It offers audio and tactile feedback to strengthen the weak point. This study aims to see if audio feedback and vibration feedback react upon each other under realistic conditions. We had a qualitative research in perception after using touch screen phone feedback. The result showed that with any feedback users were satisfied more than without any feedback and there was diversity in response. We ran the study again to see the performance level and the projective workload between the kind of feedback and interrupting feedback environment Performance rates were faster with audio feedback and according to the projective workload assessment users felt that task was easier and less annoying with audio-vibration feedback. The results suggest that audio feedback could be more effective than vibration feedback. A future study will figure out the relationship between the factors of qualitative-controlled feedback and learning time and the performance, and the main cause to make people prefer one feedback over another in a realistic world.
The purpose of this study was to explore and to suggest the effective teaching methods for university students to improve their speaking abilities through peer assessment-feedback and self assessment-feedback based presentation and debate class. The objects and content of the study were the students who took a class "Reading and Communication" of H university, and here examine closely the speaking activities and their effects during the integrated activities of 'reading, speaking and writing'. In speaking education peer and self assessment feedback is to form an emotional consensus among the students and encourage active participation, and enable self-discovery and communication learning to students. As a result of the study, it was found that the variety speaking practice had a very positive effect on the attitude of speaking and the psychological aspect, and it was confirmed that the evaluation and feedback activities had a meaningful learning effect on the students. Effective speech education and guidance measures should be continuously studied and developed.
