A distance learning is diffusing rapidly in society. It is more difficult to confirm a learner's identity and learning processing in a distance learning. Distance learning has a checking attendance system because a teacher and student do not meet face to face. There are some checking attendance systems such as login check, SMS authenticating system, unexpected quiz, and so on. However, existing checking attendance system has some problems to check learner's attendance in a whole lesson. Therefore, this study designed and developed learner's attendance system based on PC camera's shot of certification in a whole lesson. This attendance checking system can judge real attendance of learners in a distance learning and distance evaluation. The system is expected to make trust of a distance learning higher.

These days, the teaching and learning system has been increasing for the rapid advancement of the information technologies. We can access education systems of good quality anytime, anywhere and we can use the individually personalized teaching and learning system depending on developing the wireless communication technology and the multimedia processing technology. The more the various systems develop, the more software security systems become important. There are a lot kind of fault analysis methods to evaluate software security systems. However, the only assessment method to evaluate software security system is not enough to analysis properly on account of the various types and characteristic of software systems by progressing information technology. Therefore, this paper proposes an integrative method of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Fault Modes and Effect Analysis(FMEA) to evaluate the security of e-teaching and learning system as an illustration.

With the emergence of lifelong learning society and the decrease in school-age population, structural changes of universities are lead to an adult-friendly university system reform. Since 2008, university-based lifelong education activation projects, such as the lifelong learning-centered university cultivation project and the lifelong learning college project have been accelerated as a university lifelong education system support project that integrated both projects in 2015. This study analyzed the present status of university lifelong education system support project management, according to four analysis frameworks; adult-friendly curriculum, adult learner support system, evaluation of diverse learning performances, and empowerment of adult learners, based on adults' learning desire for higher education in a lifelong learning society. University lifelong education system reform suggests to aim at promotion of empowered adult learners, who give themselves positions and roles, through cultural adaptation and integration between generations.

This paper analyzed effects Web-Based cooperation Learning have on improvement in Social Adaptability and problematic behavior, using Web-Based cooperation Learning system that is designed for Mental retardation children. Is Made Teaching Design according to students level, based on elementary school Bareunsaenghwal subject. Teaching and Learning program that is going with flash and PPT Embodied is. Designed to bulletin the evaluation data for cooperation studying after studying a part of the lesson. Verification of learning effect went with experimental group and comparison group consisted of groups of 8. Students studied the Internet web data and Teaching material paper and they took pencil test. As a result, point of post-inspection was higher than that of pre-inspection. Web-Based cooperation Learning is confirmed to be effective on Social Adaptability and problematic behavior improvement.

In the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum, the system of equations is first introduced in 'Variables and Expressions' of [Middle School Grades 1-3]. Then, It is constructed that after learning the linear function in 'Functions', the relationship between the graphs of two linear functions and the systems of linear equations are learned so that students could improve the geometric representation of the systems of equations. However, in of Elective-Centered Curriculum Common Courses, Instruction is limited to algebraic manipulation when teaching and learning systems of quadratic equations. This paper presented the teaching and learning method that can improve students' mathematical connection through various representations by providing geometric representations in parallel using GeoGebra, a mathematics learning software, with algebraic solutions in the teaching and learning situation of simultaneous quadratic equations.

In the area of e-learning education, SCORM2004 that is suggested by ADL and is a defacto standard allows to design and apply various interrelations among learning objects which organize learning process through consolidating IMS Simple Sequencing into S&N. In this paper, we intend to realize a web_based adaptive learning management that enable to guide experientially the learning activity through the SCORM 2004 S&N and the Traffic-Signal-Lamp Metaphor. This adaptive system allows professor to design the learning courseware realizing various learning strategies to be able to reuse same learning contents and student to be leaded a adaptive learning through being supplied immediately the state and evaluation of learning.

Many papers point out that the e-Learning is one of the most important industries, and the effect on other industries can be more powerful than any other business. Therefore, we think about social, cultural, industrial and technological effect of the e-Learning in order to enlarge industry scale as well as educational performances. In many cases of developed countries, various kinds of study have been performed for the e-Learning quality assurance because quality of the e-learning should operate on effective and efficient learning and continuous market development of education industries. The e-Learning quality assurance has import function not only for learning contents reusability like a SCORM and metadata but also for learning system, solution and service operation, so activities for the quality assurance should consider of cultural and tactical approach when it is applied in the e-learning business. In this paper, we present the concept, domain and purpose of the e-Learning quality assurance. Furthermore, this paper proposes the process and methodology in order to make the quality assurance standard model which is consist of 6 phase such as Environment Research, Needs Analysis, Framework, Metrics, Development and Implementation, Evaluation and Feedback through the analysis and comparison of pre-studied worldwide quality control, management and assurance documents.

Ubiquitous learning environment needs various new model of e-learning as web based education system has been proposed. The demand for the customized courseware which is required from the learners is increased. the needs of the efficient and automated education agents in the web-based instruction are recognized. But many education systems that had been studied recently did not service fluently the courses which learners had been wanting and could not provide the way for the learners to study the learning weakness which is observed in the continuous feedback of the course. In this paper we propose a multi-agent system for course scheduling of learner-oriented using weakness analysis algorithm via personalized ubiquitous environment factors. First proposed system analyze learner's result of evaluation and calculates learning accomplishment. From this accomplishment the multi-agent schedules the suitable course for the learner. The learner achieves an active and complete learning from the repeated and suitable course.

Waves are a complex phenomenon in marine and coastal areas, and accurate wave prediction is essential for the safety and resource management of ships at sea. In this study, three types of machine learning techniques specialized in nonlinear data processing were used to predict the waves of Korea waters. An optimized algorithm for each area is presented for performance evaluation and comparison. The optimal parameters were determined by varying the window size, and the performance was evaluated by comparing the mean absolute error (MAE). All the models showed good results when the window size was 4 or 7 d, with the gated recurrent unit (GRU) performing well in all waters. The MAE results were within 0.161 m to 0.051 m for significant wave heights and 0.491 s to 0.272 s for periods. In addition, the GRU showed higher prediction accuracy for certain data with waves greater than 3 m or 8 s, which is likely due to the number of training parameters. When conducting marine and offshore research at new locations, the results presented in this study can help ensure safety and improve work efficiency. If additional wave-related data are obtained, more accurate wave predictions will be possible.
