수변구역 조성 녹지의 모니터링을 통한 식재방안 모색 - 가평군 시공지를 대상으로 - (Exploring Planting Strategies through Monitoring of a Greenspace Established in the Riparian Zone - The Case of an Implementation Site in Gapyeong County -)

  • The growth conditions of planted trees, invasion of nuisance herbaceous species, competition between species, and effects of erosion control were monitored over five years in a riparian greenspace in Gapyeong County that was established through multilayered and grouped ecological planting. Of 156 trees planted in the upper and middle layers, 5.8% died. This tree death was attributed to poor drainage or aeration in the rooting zone from the clay-added root ball and too deep planting as well as a small-sized root ball and scanty fine roots. Of all the trees, 21.6% grew poorly due to transplant stress in the first year after planting, but they started to grow vigorously in the third year. This good growth was largely associated with soil improvement before planting, selection of appropriate tree species based on growth ground, and control of dryness and invasive climbing plants through surface mulching and multilayered/grouped planting. Mixed planting of fast-growing species as temporary trees was desirable for accelerating planting effect and increasing planting density. Thinning of fast-growing trees was required in the fifth year after planting to avoid considerable competition with target species. To reduce the invasion of herbaceous and climbing plants that oppress normal growth of planted trees, higher density planting of trees (crown opening of about 15%), woodchip mulching to a 10-cm depth, and edge planting 2 m wide were more effective than lower density planting (crown opening of 70%), no surface mulching, and no edge planting, respectively. This reduction effect was especially great during the first three years after planting. Nuisance herbaceous plants rarely invaded higher density planting with woodchip mulching over the five years. Higher density planting or woodchip mulching also showed much greater erosion control through rainfall interception and buffering than lower density planting with no mulching did. Based on these results, desirable planting and management strategies are suggested to improve the functions of riparian greenspaces.

생태복원 사업에서의 식재 설계에 관한 인식 조사 (Ecological Restoration Planting Design Awareness Survey)

  • Much controversy has been generated over whether the ecological restoration project in Korea is faithful to the basic approach of ecological restoration compared to projects aimed at creating parks or green spaces. This study was aimed at understanding the level of awareness of practitioners in the planting design method, which is recognized as relatively important in landscape architecture and ecological restoration. The proficiency of practitioners in planting design techniques for ecological restoration projects was investigated and analyzed in seven areas: overall planting design awareness, plant species selection method, planting tree sizes, planting density, use of native species, vegetation climatic zone, soil environment, and weed control. There was no statistically significant difference between the group who thought they were experts in the field of ecological restoration and the group who thought they were experts in the field of parks and green spaces. Moreover, there was no statistically significant difference between the degree of work performance, that is, the group whose main industry was ecological restoration, the group that performed relatively more ecological restoration work, and the group that rarely performed it. Therefore, to apply desirable ecological restoration techniques in the future and to clearly differentiate between the approach in the field of parks and green spaces, the appropriate tree size or planting density selected in the ecological restoration planting design stage must be chosen. To this end, the awareness of expert groups must be improved and related laws, systems, and guidelines must be revised.

군산시 월명공원 식물군락 복원 및 생태적 경관조성에 관한 연구 (Plant community restoration and make a ecological landscape for a Wolmyong park in Kunsan city)

  • The flora of Kunsan Wolmyong park was 77 families, 168 genera, 240 species, 2 subspecies, 35 varieties, 1 formae or 278taxa. Using the Phytosociology method, 12 plant communities were recognized ; Alnus japonica, Pinus densiflora, Pinus thunbergii, Pinus rigida, Castanea crenata, Quercus acutissima, Robinia pseudo-acacia, Alnus hirsuta, Quercus serrata, Aluns firma, Liriope platyphylla and Reynoutria communities. Similarity between different communities was low for most of the cases except for Pinus densiflora, Pinus Thunbergii and Pinus rigida communities kept comparely high with ond another. Species diversity was analyzed by species richness(SR), species diversity index(H') and evenness(J'). Castanea crenata, Robinia pseudo-acacia and Alnus firma communities were higher in SR, H' than the other communities. But Pinus rigida, Quercus acutissima and castanea crenata communities were higher in evenness than the other communities. To investigate the plant community structure and to establish restoration counter plan of a Wolmyeng Park in Kunsan City. As a remedial approach, following is propesed. first, Establishment of an adequate planting plan and development of slope stalilization method by planting native species. second, Sellection of adequate species by planting experiments for pioneer species, native species, and dietary species. third, Landscape planting zones should be managed artificially, the others be managed with ecological approach.

조경건설업의 기성실적 변동 특성 (A Study on Changes of Ready Constructed Record in Landscape Construction Industry)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 조경건설업의 중요한 생산지표인 기성실적을 조사분석하여 조경건설업의 매출액 특성을 규명하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 조경건설업을 일반건설업인 조경공사업, 전문건설업인 조경식재공사업과 조경시설물설치공사업으로 구분하고, 타 건설업과 조경건설업의 기성실적 비교분석, 조경건설업의 지역별 연도별 기성실적, 공사1건당 평균기성금액, 업체당 연평균 기성실적을 분석하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 하여 조경건설업의 기성실적의 변동 특성에 대한 고찰을 하였으며, 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 조경건설업은 1997년부터 2006년까지 10년간 타 건설 분야에 비해 기성실적이 상대적으로 크게 증가하여 왔는데, 일반건설업에서 조경공사업의 기성실적이 차지하는 비중은 0.9%에서 1.9%으로 증가하고, 전문공사업에서 조경식재공사업의 기성실적이 차지하는 비중은 1.3%에서 2.5%, 조경시설물설치공사업의 기성실적은 0.5%에서 1.5%로 증가하였다. 또한 조경공사업의 기성실적 증가율은 367%, 조경식재공사업은 328%, 조경 시설물설치공사업은 515% 급증한 것으로 나타났으며, 선행지표인 2006년 계약실적 이 크게 증가한 것으로 보아 향후 이러한 증가 추세가 지속될 것으로 전망되고 있다. 2. 지역별 기성실적에서 서울, 경기의 기성실적이 상대적으로 높아 조경공사업은 전체의 53.5%, 조경식재공사업은 전체의 55.1%, 조경시설물설치공사업은 전체의 71.2%를 차지하고 있어, 조경건설시장의 수도권 집중화 현상이 심각한 것으로 나타났다. 3. 조경건설업의 단위공사당 평균기성금액은 조경공사 5억 4,000만원, 조경식재공사 7,320만원, 조경시설물공사는 7,740만원으로 조경 공사의 1건당 평균계약금액이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 분석 되었다. 조경공사와 조경식재공사는 연도별로 뚜렷한 증가세를 보여주고 있지 못하고 있으나, 조경시설물설치공사는 지속적으로 공사규모가 커지고 있어 2002년부터 조경식재공사보다 1건당 평균기성금액이 높아지고 있다. 4. 조경건설업 업체당 연평균 기성실적은 조경공사업 19억 7,000만원, 조경식재공사업 7억 9,080만원, 조경시설물설치공사업 4억 6,890만원으로 조경공사업의 업체당 연평균 기성실적이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 조경공사업 및 조경식재공사업은 전체 기성실적이 지속적으로 증가해 왔음에도 불구하고 연평균 기성실적이 증가하지 못하였다. 연구결과를 종합해 보면, 조경건설업의 기성실적은 타 건설업역보다 높은 성장을 해왔고, 이러한 성장추세가 향후에도 계속될 것으로 예측되고 있다. 그러나 조경건설업의 지속적인 성장에도 불구하고 조경공사의 규모가 상대적으로 작다는 점과 조경건설업체수의 급증에 따라 조경건설업체의 기성실적이 영세하다는 문제는 해결되고 있지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 아울러 서울, 경기, 인천 등 수도권 지역에서 차지하는 기성실적이 상대적으로 높게 나타나고 있어 조경건설시장의 수도권 집중화 현상이 심각한 것으로 밝혀졌다.

아파트 단지 인공지반의 계획적 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Landscape Planning Evaluation on Apartment Artificial Ground)

  • Landscaping on artificial ground is currently served as a means to imposing a greenery benefit on high-density and high-rise apartment sites. It functions as a sub-hierarchy in apartment planning such as ornamental element from the past. Major parking space tends to be allocated on the basement area in response to the required parking regulation. Therefore, competitive relatioinship between the parking and greenery space I limited outdoor of apartments leads to the development planning strategy and technology of artificial ground. This study aims at evaluating landscape planning on artificial ground of apartment complex through several approaches such as site survey, plan drawing analysis, and interview with related field experts. 15 survey apartment sites including Bundang Model, Shindaebang-dong, Pyoungchon Hyundai Apartments have been selected for conducting the research. Main results of this study are summarized below : First, scattering allocation of artificial ground between apartment building units is a dominant plan layout type among the survey sites. Even though unifying allocation type has an advantage to maximize underground parking space, it has a difficulty in maintaining proper soil ground base for nurturing plants. Therefore, underground parking space should be planned by unifying allocation type placed separately from apartment units. This plan type can provide a balanced planting between soil and artificial ground on surface level. Second, It is strongly recommended to integrate the whole planting base which involves architectural structure, drainage, and water proofing above the planting design. When considering that process as a professional subject dealing with natural material such as trees and shrubs, those tasks should be directed by landscape architectural divison and landscape architect. And planting area for artificial ground has to be specified in initial phase of architectural design. This step provides an opportunity to make a proper decision on structural load, drainage, and water proof design as an integrated part of the management.

식생 군집분석과 종간친화력 분석을 통한 서울형 다층구조 식재모델 제안 (Suggestions for Multi-Layer Planting Model in Seoul Area Based on a Cluster Analysis and Interspecific Association)

  • 최근 생태환경 조성을 위한 다층구조 식재는 식생복원 등 환경사업뿐만 아니라 군락식재의 방법으로서 활용이 확산되고 있으나, 실제 조경 식재 설계에 있어 다층식재 기법을 활용하는 데에는 어려움이 있었다. 본 연구는 서울지역의 숲 구조를 분석하여 다층식재 시 활용 가능한 기초적 다층 식재모델 개발을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 생태분석프로그램인 PC ORD 4.0(MjM Soft, 2002) 프로그램을 활용, ISA(Indicator Species Analysis) 분석을 통한 적정 군집수를 설정하여 군집분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 상수리나무군락, 신갈나무-팔배나무군락, 소나무-리기다소나무군락, 신갈나무-진달래군락, 선갈나무-노간주나무군락, 소나무-진달래군락, 선갈나무-철쭉나무군락 등의 7개의 자연 식생군락으로 분석되었다. 그리고 대상지에 출현한 빈도 10% 이상의 식물종간의 종간친화력 검정을 통하여, 자연식생에서의 수반종과 함께 수급 및 유통이 가능한 대체 유사종을 제시함으로써 활용도를 높였다. 위의 결과를 종합한 7개 자연식생군락을 기초로 하여, 군락 내 종간 친화력이 있는 식물종을 재선정하여 조경 식재 설계 시 활용할 수 있는 다층식재 모델을 제안하였다. 개발된 다층식재 모델은 변환우점도 값의 평균값을 기준으로 하여 평균 목표피도를 제시함으로써 식재설계 시 폭넓게 응용할 수 있도록 하였다.

도시하천 구간 특성에 따른 조경 식물 식재방안 연구 - 서울시 고덕천을 사례로 - (A Study on Planting Landscaping Plants according to the Characteristics of Urban River Sections - A Case Study on Godeokcheon(Stream) in Seoul -)

  • 도시하천 내 조경 식물은 하천생태계에 미치는 영향이 크기 때문에 도입 기준과 적정성에 관한 체계적인 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 서울시 고덕천을 사례로 조경 식물의 식재종 및 생육상태를 조사하여 도시하천 내 조경 식물의 식재방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 우선 식재지반 관련 하천구조와 침수피해 영향권을 분석하였다. 식재종 적정성은 선행연구 결과에 제시된 자생종과 습지성에 기준을 두고 분석하였다. 식재 위치 및 식재 형태에 따른 적정성은 하천 지형구조별 적응종과 부적응종을 생육상태로 분석하였다. 고덕천 습지성 식물의 식재비율은 교목이 가장 높았고, 관목이 가장 낮았다. 식재 위치별 식물의 생육상태는 수변에 식재된 식물이 가장 양호했고, 둔치, 제방 사면 순으로 나타났다. 도시하천은 자전거도로와 산책로의 불투수포장으로 인해 토양이 건조해지면서 건조지성 식물의 적응력이 높아지고 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 제방 사면의 적정종은 자생종과 건조지성 식물로 판단되었다. 둔치는 습지성 식물의 식재비율을 높이고, 수변에는 건조지성 식물의 식재비율을 낮춰야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 식재 형태에 따른 생육상태를 분석한 결과 혼합종을 식재했을 때 생육상태가 가장 양호한 것으로 나타났고, 단일종을 식재했으나 다른 식생이 출현한 경우가 가장 생육생태가 불량한 것으로 나타났다. 도시하천은 자생종과 습지성 식물의 식재비율을 높이고, 식재 위치에 적정한 식물종을 선정해야 한다.

경관 시뮬레이션을 통한 가로 녹시율 증진방안 및 목표수준 설정 - 서울시를 사례로 - (The Methods of Promoting Greenness and the Target Levels of Greenness in Streetscape Suggested by Computer Simulation - The Case of Seoul -)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest the planting methods and the reasonable target levels of IGS for promoting green streetscape in Seoul. Using the three dimensional computer simulations, various greening methods were applied to evaluate effectiveness of promoting green streetscape. The results of this study suggest that promoting tree planting on car lane is more effective than on pedestrian side walks. In wide streets, the height of tree has positive effects on promoting green streetscape. In both car lane and pedestrian side walks, the greening effects of tree planting both in zig-zag pattern and in parallel pattern were similarly most high. The width of strip in side strip planting has positive effect on promoting green streetscape. Promoting stratified planting is very effective. Promoting greening wall on pedestrian side walks is more effective than on car lane. Combined the results of IGS survey with the public officials and complex simulations, suggest that the optimal levels of IGS is ranging from 12.0% in alleys to 54.0% in car lanes among arterial roads.

광양만 임해 매립지 느티나무 이식 이후의 연륜생장 특성 (Tree-Ring Growth Characteristics of Zelkova serrata Makino after Replanting on the Reclaimed Land from the sea in Gwangyang Bay)

  • This study was carried out to examine the tree-ring growth characteristics of Zelkova serrata Makino after replanting, for the built-up planting founds for stability of landscaped trees in the reclaimed land from the sea. the factors, many affecting the growths of Zelkova serrata Makino, were the replanting stress and drought. The growth reduction due to replanting and drought occurred in the replanting year and the following year. The mean sensitivity(year-to-year variation) and the coefficient of variation(tree-to-tree variation in a certain year) in tree rings of Zelkova serrate Makino, were higher in the poor soil sites than in the favourable soil ones. And the poor soil sites were the filled ground of improve soil and the covered ground of improve soil and the top ground of big mounding than mounding ground sites, especially soil hardness, alkali soil, high $Na^+\;and\;K^+,\;low\;Ca^{++}\;and\;Mg^{++}$ and T-C were the most crucial. We suggest technique development of the built-up planting ground for stability in the reclaimed land from the sea. The built-up planting grounds in reclaimed land from the sea, should be considered for the use of fair soil with the physical and chemical soil properties, -high level foundation of planting ground, and the prevention of disturbed soil-.

광양만 바다 준설 매립지 느티나무의 식재 지반별 토양 이화학적 특성 (The Physico-chemical Properties of the Soil at the Grounds of Replanted Zelkova serrata (Thunberg) Markino in Reclaimed Land from the Sea, Gwangyang Bay)

  • This study was carried out to analyze physicochemical properties according to the soil height and to the six types of sites that were used as planting ground in the reclaimed land from the sea, Gwangyang Bay. The physicochemical properties of the soil types were tested by t-test(p<0.01, 0.05), at each of the 6 planting ground sites(p<0.01, 0.05), and at each height(p<0.01) of the planting grounds. These areas were tested by ANOVA and were significantly different. Improved soil was better than reclaimed soil from the sea for Zelkova growth because the improved soil contained lower amounts of pH, ECe, N $a^{+}$, $Ca^{++}$, $Mg^{++}$ SAR. Due to freedom from variables such as salt content in the underground as well as the physical and chemical disturbance of the soil, favorable planting ground for tree growth was recorded at the higher grounds than at the lower ones. Soil detriment to the tree growth in the studied sites included elements such as soil hardness, and the distribution of sodium in the tree root systems. The planting grounds for the favorable growth of landscape trees were determined in the following order: the grounds of mounding> the coved ground of improved soil, and the filled ground of improved soil.l.l.l.
