라미네이팅 투습방수 직물의 태와 선호도 평가 (Hand and Preference Evaluation of Laminated Waterproof Breathable Fabric)

  • This study evaluates the objective and subjective hand as well as the preference for hand and outdoor jackets on laminated waterproof breathable fabrics with different constituent characteristics to identify those best suited for consumer needs. Mechanical properties and objective hands were measured by the KES-FB system. The subjective hand and the preference of laminated waterproof breathable fabric for outdoor jackets were rated by the 20's and 30's women experts with tactile and visual senses that utilized a questionnaire with a seven-point semantic differential scale; subsequently, the flexibility and compressive elasticity of laminated waterproof breathable fabrics were low. However, light and thin waterproof breathable fabrics with a smooth surface had high scores in smoothness, fullness & softness and total hand value. In addition, laminated waterproof breathable fabrics were classified into three hand factors: flexibility, density, and surface properties. There were significant differences on flexibility and surface property perceptions, hand and out-door jackets preferences according to the characteristics of waterproof breathable fabrics. The hand preference of the laminated waterproof breathable fabric improved with decreasing 2HB and increasing EM. However, EM showed positive effect for outdoor jacket preferences. Those that were flexible and smooth were preferred for outdoor jackets.

  • A simplified method for determining the mode components of the strain energy release rate of free-edge delaminations in laminated composite is proposed. The interlaminar stresses are evaluated as an interface moment and interface shear forces that are obtained from the equilibrium equations at the interface between the adjacent layers. Deformation of an edge-delaminated laminate is calculated by using a generalized quasi-three dimensional classical laminated plate theory developed by the authors. The analysis provides closed-form expression for the three components of the strain energy release rate. Comparison of results with a finite element solution using the virtual crack closure technique shows good agreement. In the present study, laminated composite with stacking sequences of [30/-30/90]$_{s}$ were examined. The simple nature of the method makes it suitable for primary design analysis for the delaminations of laminated composite.e.

  • In vehicle to pedestrian accidents, cracks occur in the vehicle laminated glass due to impact of a pedestrian's head. In this study, FMH(Free Motion Headform) was used to experiment on and analyze the crack patterns on a vehicle laminated glass that collides with an adult headform at speeds of 20 km/h, 30 km/h, and 40 km/h, respectively. Applying the acquired experimental data and material property of the vehicle laminated glass to the structural analysis program LS-Dyna, we could develop the FE model of vehicle laminated glass similar to real vehicle laminated glass. We could estimate the head impact velocity and pedestrian's vehicle impact velocity using the Madymo program.

  • 본 연구에서는 Kam과 Chang의 연구와 같이 판의 최소 처짐, 판의 최대 모달 에너지 감쇠비 및 최대 고유 진동수를 설계제한 조건으로 택하고 Watkins와 Morris가 사용한 순환 선형 계획법을 이용하여 혼합 적층 복합 재료판의 최적설계를 수행하였다.

  • 본 논문은 적층고무받침을 이용하여 지진으로부터 교량의 손상피해를 줄이기 위한 연구이다. 적층고무 받침은 지진 발생시 변위를 증가시키고, 주기를 길게하여 하중을 전환시킨다. 적층고무받침과 같은 면진장치에 몇 가지 지진파를 가진하여 진동대 실험을 하였다. 이 실험에서는 가속도계와 하중계, 변위계를 설치하여 상판의 가속도 및 전단력 등을 측정하였다. 더구나 적층고무받침을 설치한 경우와 지진격리장치를 설치하지 않은 경우로 구분하여 진동대 실험하여 그 성능을 비교 평가하였다. 실험결과 상판의 가속도 및 전단력은 적층고무받침을 사용할 경우 응답이 감소하였다.

  • 본 연구는 응력적층재의 압체력 경시변화에 대한 분석을 위해 수행되었다. 실내 외에 설치한 응력적층재의 압체력은 시간에 따라 감소하였으며, 응력적층재의 재압체 후 압체력 감소의 속도는 현저히 느려졌다. 하지만 응력적층재의 실사용을 위해서는 정확한 압체력의 예측이 필요한 것으로 사료된다. 기존의 압체력 예측 모델을 적용하여 압체력의 경시변화를 예측한 결과와 실제 압체력 변화는 상이한 양상을 나타내었으며, 이에 따라 시간과 외부환경에 따른 응력적층재의 압체력 예측 모델의 개발이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Seismic performance assessment of reinforced concrete bridge piers supported by laminated rubber bearings

  • This paper presents a nonlinear finite element procedure accounting for the effects of geometric as well as material nonlinearities for reinforced concrete bridge piers supported by laminated rubber bearings. Reinforced concrete bridge piers supported by laminated rubber bearings and carrying a cyclic load were analyzed by using a special purpose, nonlinear finite element program, RCAHEST. For reinforced concrete, the proposed robust nonlinear material model captures the salient response characteristics of the bridge piers under cyclic loading conditions and addresses with the influence of geometric nonlinearity on post-peak response of the bridge piers by transformations between local and global systems. Seismic isolator element to predict the behaviors of laminated rubber bearings is also developed. The seismic performance of reinforced concrete bridge piers supported by laminated rubber bearings is assessed analytically. The results show good correlation between the experimental findings and numerical predictions, and demonstrate the reliability and robustness of the proposed analytical model. Additionally, the studies and discussions presented in this investigation provide an insight into the key behavioral aspects of reinforced concrete bridge piers supported by laminated rubber bearings.

Buckling and vibration of symmetric laminated composite plates with edges elastically restrained

  • The finite strip transition matrix technique, a semi analytical method, is employed to obtain the buckling loads and the natural frequencies of symmetric cross-ply laminated composite plates with edges elastically restrained against both translation and rotation. To illustrate the accuracy and the validation of the method several example of cross play laminated composite plates were analyzed. The buckling loads and the frequency parameters are presented and compared with available results in the literature. The convergence study and the excellent agreement with known results show the reliability of the purposed technique.
