LQ비행제어를 위한 무충돌 전환 구현 알고리즘 (Bumpless Transfer Implementation Algorithm for LQ Flight Control)

  • 이 논문에서는 항공기의 비행제어에 적용하기 위해 각각의 비행영역에서 설계된 LQ(Linear Quadratic)제어기를 비행영역이 바뀜에도 충돌 없이 교체할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 기존의 구현 알고리즘에 비해 LQ제어기에 적용하기 편리하게 유도되었고, 비선형 모델에도 적용할 수 있도록 트림점을 포함한 식으로 제시된다. 제안된 알고리즘의 성능을 확인하기 위해 시험표준 문제로 초음속 시험 항공기의 LQ제어문제에 적용하는 모의실험을 수행하고 제어성능이 우수함을 예시한다.

  • This paper studies the problem of pole placement by an LQ controller for system having two distinct real poles. Using the so-called Pole's Moving Range (PMR) drawn in the s-plane and relational equations between closed-loop system poles and weighting matrices, we calculate the state weighting matrix to move two distinct real poles to a pair of complex poles. By numerical examples, we show that the proposed method is applied to improve system performance.

  • 본 논문은 시간지연을 갖는 2차 시스템에서 시간영역의 설계사양을 만족하는 최적 강인 LQ-PID제어기 설계방법을 제안한다. 시간지연을 갖는 2차 시스템의 LQR 해를 이용한 LQ-PID제어기 파라미터는 설계사양을 만족하는 가격함수의 가중치요소 C와 R에 의해 결정되고, Q와 R의 선정은 시간영역에서의 오버슈트와 정착시간을 조절할 수 있는 설계파라미터들 선정에 의해 결정되어진다.

연속 냉간압연 시스템을 위한 비간섭 루프형성 LQ제어기 설계 (Noninteracting and Loop-Shaping LQ Controller Design for Tandem Cold Mills)

  • A robust multivariable controller is synthesized for tandem cold mills. A blocked-noninteracting control method is applied for simplifying the structure of rolling control systems. And, a loop-shaping LQ control method is applied for maintaining the variation of the thickness and tension of each rolling stand as small as possible. In this paper, the effects of the design parameter on loop-shaping and the number of control inputs are evaluated. The simulation results show that the thickness and tension control accuracy of tandem cold mills can be improved by the blocked-noninteracting and compensated loop-shaping LQ controller.

도시 철도 차량의 자동주행을 위한 LQ-서보 제어기의 설계 (LQ-Servo Design for Automatic Train Control of Urban Rail Vehicle)

  • In this paper, we propose the LQ servo control method for the automatic train control of urban rail vehicle. Structures of the conventional PID control and LQ servo controller are compared in order to demonstrate the simplicity of the proposed controller which doesn't have zeros of the closed loop systems. The energy consumption is dealt with as an object function to be minimized, which consists of the quadratic performance indices for optimal control with the input of the feedback linearization. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by the practical example, compared with the conventional PD controller.

  • This paper presents an optimal robust LQ-PID controller design method for a second order system with time-delay to meet design specifications. By LQR formulation of the second order system with time-delay, tuning parameters of PID controller are related by the weighting factors Q and R of cost function. The selection of the weighting factors Q and R are chosen to satisfy such the design specifications as overshoot and settling time.

  • The recent amount of container freight continuously has been increased, but the low efficiency of container crane causes jamming frequently in transportation and cargo handling at port. It is required that the working velocity and safety are improved by control of moving the trolley as quick as possible without large overshoot and any residual swing motion of container at the destination. In this paper, a LQ controller for a container crane is proposed to accomplish an optimal design of improved control system for minimizing the swing motion at destination. In this scheme a mathematical model for the system is obtained in state space form. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified through computer simulation.

  • A disturbance rejection controller using eccentricity filtering and LQ control techniques is proposed to alleviate significantly the effect of roll eccentricity in multivariable cold-rolling processes. Fundamental problems such as process time delay inherent in exit thickness measurement and non-stationary characteristics of roll eccentricity signals can be overcome by the proposed control method. The filtered instantaneous estimate of roll eccentricity may be exploited to improve instantaneous estimate of the exit thickness variation based on roll force and roll gap mearsurements, and a feedforward compensator is augmented as a reference for a gaugemeter thickness estimator. And, LQ feedback controller is combined with eccentricity filter for the attenuation of the exit thickness variation due to the entry thickness variation. The simulation results show that eccentricity components have been significantly eliminated and simultaneously other distrubances also have been attenuated.

  • 본 논문에서는 TITO 시스템에서 분산된 LQ-PID 제어기 설계방법을 제안하고,주파수 영역의 설계사양인 명령추종, 외란제거, 센서 잡음 저감도를 만족하도록 제어기를 설계하였다. 설계방법은 PID 제어요소를 포함한 폐루프 상태방정식과 LQR 폐루프 상태방정식의 관계를 유도하고 루프형성절차를 통해 가격함수의 가중치 요소 Q와 R을 선정함으로써 성능 및 안정도 강인성이 보장되도록 하였다.

  • The levitation system of Maglev is composed with electro-magnet, power supplier, controller and sensor. The complex interactions between above subcomponents define the characteristics of electromagnetic suspension of the vehicle. In this study, to understand the influence of controller on the running performance of Maglev, the new controller based on LQ theory will be designed and be simulated with simplified vehicle model. Then the influence of controller on the characteristics of electromagnetic suspension will be reviewed through comparison with existing control algorithm of our prototype vehicle.
