It is already known from the previous study that flood seems to have heavier tail. Therefore, to make prediction of future extreme label, some agreement of tail behavior of extreme data is highly required. The LH-moments estimation method, the generalized form of L-moments is an useful method of characterizing the upper part of the distribution. LH-moments are based on linear combination of higher order statistics. In this study, we have formulated LH-moments of five distributions useful in hydrology such as, two types of three parameter kappa distributions, beta-${\kappa}$ distribution, beta-p distribution and a generalized Gumbel distribution. Using LH-moments reduces the undue influences that small sample may have on the estimation of large return period events.

The present study examines the inhibitow effect of progesterone (P) on luteinizing hormone $(LH)\beta$ subunit gene expression in anterior pituitary of ovariectomized, estradiol-treated adult rats. A single injection of P (1mg) further decreased the estradiol-Induced decrease in $LH\beta$ mRNA levels in ovariectomTzed rats in a time-dependent manner. p suppressed UIP mRNA levels at lower doses (0.1 and 1mg), but increased $LH\beta$ mRNA levels 81 a high dose (toms). The inhibitor action of P on $Uf\beta$ mRNA was restored when Ru486, a P receptor antagonist, was administered 1h before P treatment. These data clearly indicate that P inhibits gene expression of $LH\beta$ in the rift pituitary in a swersic manner with estrogen.

Objectives: The aim of this study is to report the effect of oriental treatments for polycystic ovarian disease patient with amenorrhoea. Methods: A 27 years old women, who diagnosed polycystic ovarian disease, was enrolled in this study. She received oriental treatment such as herbal medicine, acupuncture for 8 months. And we proceeded to checkup female hormone regularly, such as Estrogen, LH, FSH, Prolactin. We observed the menstruation period and figure out LH/FSH ratio. Results: Polycystic ovarian disease patient restart cyclic menstruation. LH/FSH ratio of polycystic ovarian disease patient was decreased to normal level. Conclusions: In polycystic ovarian disease patient with amenorrhoea in this case, oriental herbal medicine and acupuncture treatment make cyclic menstruation and restore LH/FSH ratio to normal level.

Purpose Precocious Puberty is defined as the development of secondary sexual characteristics in girls younger than 8 years, and boys 9 years. Cause premature closure of the epiphysis is a disease that eventually decreases the final adult height. In this study, we retrospectively analyzed to evaluate the diagnostic difference the GnRH (Gonado-tropin-releasing Hormone) stimulation test results with medical records of precocious puberty in girls. Materials and Methods From February 2015 to December 2015 it was enrolled in the girls 118 people who visited the Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Pediatrics, Endocrinology Internal Medicine. True precocious puberty group (n=57), early puberty group (n=39), were divided into Premature thelarche (n=22) group. A Tanner stage, chronological age, bone age, height, body weight for each group was determined by examining the mean${\pm}$standard deviation. GnRH test result was compared LH (Basal, 30 min, 45 min, 60 min), FSH (Basal, 30 min, 60 min) for each group, Each group LH, FSH Peak value distribution, the mean${\pm}$standard deviation was calculated for the peak LH/LH basal ratio, peak LH/Peak FSH ratio. The significance probability (P-value) between the value of each third group was determined. Results The average height of the true precocious puberty group $131{\pm}14.85$, the mean weight was $28.80{\pm}4.93$, the average chronological age $7.1{\pm}0.81$, the mean bone age was $9.9{\pm}0.9$, The average height of early puberty group was $134{\pm}5.10$, the average weight $28.50{\pm}4.43$, the average chronological age $8.05{\pm}0.03$, the mean bone age was $10.0{\pm}0.62$, The average height of Premature thelarche $129{\pm}6,01$, the average weight was $28.65{\pm}5.98$, the average chronological age $7.02{\pm}0.58$, the mean bone age was $8.04{\pm}1.29$. There was no significant difference when compared to the height and weight. There was a significant difference between the groups in the chronologic age and bone age difference (P <0.0002) True precocious puberty group showed peak LH levels at 30'(82.5%), 45'(12.3%), 60'(5.3%), in Peak FSH 30'(8.8%), 60'(91.2%). Early Puberty group showed high values in Peak LH at 30'(79.5%), 45'(17.9%), 60'(2.6%), in peak FSH levels at 30'(7.7%), 60'(92.32%). In Premature thelarche Group it showed the Peak LH levels at 30'(30%), 45'(59%), 60'(9.09%), Peak FSH levels at 30'(0%) 60'(100%). When compared with the The Peak LH/basal LH ratio, True precocious puberty group was $19.09{\pm}17.15$, early puberty group was $15.23{\pm}10.88$, Premature thelarche group showed significant differences between the three groups as $4.93{\pm}4.36$.(P <0.0001) LH Peak/FSH Peak ratio, true precocious puberty group was $1.222{\pm}0.77$, early puberty group was $1.34{\pm}1.23$, Premature thelarche group showed significant differences between the three groups as $0.3{\pm}0.09$(P <0.0001) Conclusion In order to diagnose the true precocious puberty have a diagnostic value when the LH peak after GnRH stimulation is increased by more than two to three times compared to baseline or a predetermined level or more than 5~10 IU/L increases. GnRH Test is a test for a long time and the patient discomfort due to repeated blood sampling, but the hypothalamus-pituitary gland- gonad axis activity evaluate and is the most basic accurate test in the differential diagnosis of precocious puberty disorders.

This paper suggests that watermarking technique make use of Threshold Values and PN code for preservation of copyright. To protect copyright, six binary images that are generated by a Dynamic Threshold Value to LSB(least significant bit) of wavelet coefficient through wavelet conversion and watermark image use PN code to each frequency sphere-HL1, LH1, HL2, LH2, HL3, LH3, decide coordinates, operate XOR, and insert watermark. They put the sphere except from low frequency which has much image deterioration and high frequency which has weak loss compression in watermark. As an experimental result, we acquired watermark inserting image that has little image deterioration and extract watermark strongly.

The purpose of this study is to suggest diagnosis indicators and checklist for urban regeneration projects by Korea Land & Housing Corporation(LH). There are already deprivation indices in the Urban Regeneration Act but not any additional guidelines in the practical aspect. In order to use the diagnosis indicators, the central government should supply more specific checklist to the actors in the regeneration field. The key actor of many stakeholders is LH as an operator and implementer in the regeneration projects. So far, LH has developed housing and cities and there haven't been any obvious changes to realize public benefit in the deteriorated area. From now on, It has to plan, implement, and manage a lot of regeneration projects entirely. Therefore, It is necessary to develope and apply the diagnosis indicators and checklist based on projects. This paper came up with the 6 factors related with LH business field : housing, urban infrastructure, public service, private service, environment, and smart city. For these, 32 diagnosis indicators and 72 checklists were selected that can include both physical and qualitative indicators. These can be used not only for the selection of regeneration projects but also for the process monitoring such as planning and implementation.

Automatic hematology analyzers provide the leukocyte differential count and the useful flags of the various hematological parameters. We compared LH 750 (Beckman Coulter Co., Miami, FL, USA) with manual method on differential leukocyte counts and evaluated the usefulness of the suspect flags, provided by this instrument. The comparison of leukocyte differential counts between two methods showed good correlation coefficient (r), which were 0.95 (neutrophil), 0.92 (lymphocyte), 0.82 (monocyte) and 0.95 (eosinophil). The frequency of the total flags displayed on LH 750 were 15.5%, which included immature granulocyte/left shift 63.5%, nucleated RBC 14.6%, platelet clumps 13.1%, variant lymphocyte 50% and blast 16.6%. This instrument showed higher positive predictive value in the flags such as platelet clumps 68.8%, immature granulocyte/left shift 61.5%, nucleated RBC 27.3%, variant lymphocyte 50% and blast 16.7%. In this study, the leukocyte differential counts of LH 750 showed good correlation with manual method and the suspect flags also showed a good performance for applying the criteria of re-examination in the clinical laboratory.

옻나무 유래 Flavonoid(F)는 항암 효과, 숙취해소 등의 효능이 있으며, 신장의 기능을 촉진하고 생식에도 영향을 준다고 알려져 있다. 그 주성분으로는 fustin, fisetin, sulfuretin, butein으로 추정되고 있다. 본 연구팀의 예비실험에서 성숙 흰쥐에게 F를 30일간 5mg씩 구강투여 하여 정소 중량 및 혈액 내 Testosterone 농도를 분석한 결과, 정소 중량이 증가되고 혈중 Testosterone의 농도도 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 높은 결과를 얻었다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 옻나무 유래 F가 성숙 수컷 횐쥐의 생식 기능에 직접 미치는 영향을 알아보고자, 흰쥐 Leydig 세포를 분리, 회수하여 체외배양에서 Testosterone농도를 조사하였다. SD계 흰쥐(약 12주령, 체중 250g 전후)의 정소를 적출 한 후, Leydig 세포를 회수하기 위해 0.25% collagenase용액에 넣어 34$^{\circ}C$에서 15분간 진탕 수조에서 배양하였다. 배양된 정소조직은 D-MEM 배양액(10% FCS와 antibiotics 첨가)으로 2~3회 세척한 후 세포 수를 1$\times$$10^{6}$ cells/$m\ell$/well로 분주하여, F(20, 40, 80, 160ng), IGF-I(50, 100ng) 와 LH(10, 100ng) 용량별 각각 첨가하여 배양하였다. 각 처리 후, 배양시간(3, 6, 12, 24, 36시간)에 따라 배양액을 회수하여 COAT-A-COUNT(DPC, USA) kit를 이용하여 RIA방법에 의해 Testosterone을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 대조구 Leydig 세포를 36시간까지 체외 배양하여 Testosterone의 농도를 조사한 결과, 24시간 배양구가 가장 높은 농도를 나타내었다. F를 단독 첨가하여 12시간 배양한 실험에서 F 80ng 첨가구에서 유의적으로 높은 농도를 보였다. LH 10ng 및 100ng 첨가구의 시간별 변화로는, LH 10ng 첨가구에서는 6~12시간 이후, LH 100ng 첨가구에서는 3~6시간 사이에서 유의적인 증가를 보였다. 또한, LH 10ng 첨가 실험에서는 LH 10ng＋F 40ng에서 12시간 배양 시, 유의적으로 높은 Testosterone 분비를 확인하였으며, LH 100ng을 첨가하여 3시간 배양 시는 각 처리구 마다 높은 유의적 차이를 보였다. 한편, GH에 관여하는 IGF-I 첨가효과를 비교 검토한 결과, LH 100ng＋IGF-I 100ng, 6시간 배양구에서 유의적으로 높게 나타내었다. 이상의 결과로, F 단독 처리 시의 적정량은 약 80ng이며, 흰쥐 정소 Leydig 세포의 Testosterone분비를 촉진하는 작용을 하는 것으로 사료되며, 특히 LH＋F구에서 Testosterone분비를 더욱 향상시킴으로써 정소 Leydig 세포의 Androgen 생성을 촉진시키는 역할이 있는 것으로 보여진다 따라서 옻나무 유래 F는 포유동물의 생식기능에 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 사료된다.

This study was carried out to hydrolyze lactose in commercial milk by ${\beta}-galactosidase$ from Kluyveromyces fragilis and to compare some physicochemical properties of yoghurts made from control and lactase-treated commercial milks. Quantitative analysis of sugars was performed by gas liquid chromatograph (GLC) on trimethylsilyl (TMS) derivatives. In commercial milk, 94.6% of lactose was hydrolyzed after 2 hours incubation at $40^{\circ}C$ with 6.0 units/ml of ${\beta}-galactosidase$. pH, titratable acidity and viable cell number of yoghurt made from lactase-hydrolyzed (LH) commercial milk were 4.1, 1.04% and $6.5{\times}10^8/ml$ of Str. thermophilus, $8.9{\times}10^8/ml$ of L. bulgaricus after 8 hours incubation at $40^{\circ}C$, respectively, The total contents of amino acid were 2.63% in control and 2.19%. in LH yoghurt. The total contents of free amino acid were 26.95 mg% in control and 17.55mg% in LH yoghurt. Analysis of free fatty acids resulted in that the contents of short chain fatty acids in LH yoghurt were a little higher than those in control. Both in control and LH yoghurt, the palmitic acid content was highest and that was followed by oleic and myristic acid.
