  • $Mo-V-O/SnO_2$(VM/Sn) and $SnO_2/Mo-V-O$(Sn/VM) catalysts have been prepared and characterized by XRD, BET, SEM and TPD of ammonia. The catalytic reaction of acrolein oxidation with these catalysts, in a continuous-flow fixed-bed reactor, showed that they had higher conversion of acrolein and higher yield of acrylic acid than those of Mo-V-O itself. The origin of the observed synergy studied by TPD, TPR and TPO is explained by the cooperation of $SnO_2$ and Mo-V-O at their interfaces where electrons flow from Mo-V-O phase to $SnO_2$ and $SnO_2$ produces spill-over oxygens, which, by being transported onto the surface of Mo-V-O, reoxidize the partially reduced active sites.

  • 2kg of the dried leaves of chamaecyparis obtusa Endlicher were ground, extracted with acetone-$H_2O$(7:3, v/v), concentrated, and fractionated with a series of hexane, $CH_2Cl_2$, EtOAc and water on a separatory funnel. Each fraction was freeze dried to give dark-brown powder and a EtOAc soluble portion of the powder was chromatographed on a Sephadex LH-20 column using a series of aqueous methanol and ethanol-hexane mixture as eluents. Spectrometric analyses such as NMR and FAB-MS including TLC were performed to characterize the structures of the isolated compounds. The leaves of chamaecyparis obtusa Endlicher contained a large amount of taxifolin-3-O-${\beta}$-D-xylopyranoside and (+)-catechin in addition to a small amount of quercetin-3-O-${\alpha}$-L-rhamnopyranoside.

  • In this paper we study the small-data scattering of the d dimensional fractional $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$ equations with d = 2, 3, $L{\acute{e}}vy$ index 1 < ${\alpha}$ < 2 and Hartree type nonlinearity $F(u)={\mu}({\mid}x{\mid}^{-{\gamma}}{\ast}{\mid}u{\mid}^2)u$ with max(${\alpha}$, ${\frac{2d}{2d-1}}$) < ${\gamma}{\leq}2$, ${\gamma}$ < d. This equation is scaling-critical in ${\dot{H}}^{s_c}$, $s_c={\frac{{\gamma}-{\alpha}}{2}}$. We show that the solution scatters in $H^{s,1}$ for any s > $s_c$, where $H^{s,1}$ is a space of Sobolev type taking in angular regularity with norm defined by ${\parallel}{\varphi}{\parallel}_{H^{s,1}}={\parallel}{\varphi}{\parallel}_{H^s}+{\parallel}{\nabla}_{{\mathbb{S}}{\varphi}}{\parallel}_{H^s}$. For this purpose we use the recently developed Strichartz estimate which is $L^2$-averaged on the unit sphere ${\mathbb{S}}^{d-1}$ and utilize $U^p-V^p$ space argument.

  • Methamphetamine (MA) is currently the most abused illicit drug in Korea and its major metabolite is amphetamine (AP). As MA exist as two enantiomers with the different pharmacological properties, it is necessary to determine their respective amounts in a sample. Thus a chiral stationary phase liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometric (LC-MS/MS) method was developed for identification and quantification of d-MA, l-MA, d-AP, and l-AP in human urine. Urine sample ($200{\mu}L$) was diluted with pure water and purified using solid-phase extraction (SPE) cartridge. A $5-{\mu}L$ aliquot of SPE treated sample solution was injected into LC-MS/MS system. Chiral separation was carried out on the Astec Chirobiotic V2 column with an isocratic elution for each enantiomer. Identification and quantification of enantiomeric MA and AP was performed using multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) detection mode. Linear regression with a $1/x^2$ as the weighting factor was applied to generate a calibration curve. The linear ranges were 25-1000 ng/mL for all compounds. The intra- and inter-day precisions were within 3.6 %, while the intra- and inter-day accuracies ranged from -5.4 % to 11.8 %. The limits of detection were 2.5 ng/mL (d-MA), 3.5 ng/mL (l-MA), 7.5 ng/mL (d-AP), and 7.5 ng/mL (l-AP). Method validation parameters such as selectivity, matrix effect, and stability were evaluated and met acceptance criteria. The applicability of the method was tested by the analysis of genuine forensic urine samples from drug abusers. d-MA is the most common compound found in urine and mainly used by abusers.

  • Production of camptothecin ((PT) from callus cultures of Camptotheca acuminata Decne was affected by light and culture conditions. Among the culture media tested, modified B5 medium containing 3% (w/v) sucrose, 2 mg/L B,4-D, 2 times of MS medium vitamins, 500 mg/L casein hydrolysate, 250 mg/L myo-inositol, 0.05% (w/v) activated charcoal, and 0.15% (w/v) gelite was used for callus induction . The highest cell growth and CPT production were obtained in dark and green light condition, respectively. Photoperiod has no effect on cell growth and CPT production. Both cell growth and CPT production were also influenced by combination ratio of red and blue light .Cell growth and CPT production were the highest in the ratio of red and blue light,90:10.

  • Electrical properties such as surface flashover discharge and discharge degradations of insulating materials for superconducting cable have been investigated. It is found that the surface voltage is proportional to $l^{0.7}$ (l: discharge length) in liquid helium (LHe). V-t characteristic in LHe was a n=5.5 that was less than liquid nitrogen (L $N_{2}$). After applied AC voltage, the surface condition of polymer films was observed non-eroded areas and eroded areas. The eroded area is depending on the applied voltage. In case of LHe, the crack was observed.d.

  • The cautious blasting works had been used with emulsion explosion electric M/S delay caps. Drill depth was from 3m to 6m with Crawler Drill $\varphi{70mm}$ on the calcalious sand stone(sort-moderate-semi hard Rock). The total numbers of feet blast were 88. Scale distance were induces 15.52-60.32. It was applied to propagation Law in blasting vibration as follows. Propagtion Law in Blasting Vibration $V=K(\frac{D}{W^b})^n$ where V : Peak partical velocity(cm/sec) D : Distance between explosion and recording sites (m) W : Maximum Charge per delay-period of eighit milliseconds or more(Kg) K : Ground transmission constant, empirically determind on th Rocks, Explosive and drilling pattern ets. b : Charge exponents n : Reduced exponents Where the quantity $D/W^b$ is known as the Scale distance. Above equation is worked by the U.S Bureau of Mines to determine peak particle velocity. The propagation Law can be catagrorized in three graups. Cabic root Scaling charge per delay Square root Scaling of charge per delay Site-specific Scaling of charge per delay Charge and reduction exponents carried out by multiple regressional analysis. It's divided into under loom and over loom distance because the frequency is verified by the distance from blast site. Empirical equation of cautious blasting vibration is as follows. Over 30m----under l00m----- $V=41(D/3\sqrt{W})^{-1.41}$ -----A Over l00m-----$V= 121(D/3\sqrt{W})^{-1.66}$-----B K value on the above equation has to be more specified for furthur understang about the effect of explosives, Rock strength. And Drilling pattern on the vibration levels, it is necessary to carry out more tests.

  • This study is aimed at identifying structural element stiffness influence on vertical earthquake response of mid-rise R/C frame buildings. To this aim, a mid-rise RC building structure is designed as per the new Turkish Seismic Code for Buildings-2018, and 3D FE model of the building is established. Based on the established FE model, a total number of six buildings are considered depending on certain percentage increase in beam, slab, and column. The time-history response analyses (THA) are performed separately for only horizontal (H) and horizontal +vertical (H+V) earthquake motions to make a comparison between the load cases. The analysis results are presented comparatively in terms of the monitoring parameters of the base overturning moment (Mo), the top-story lateral displacement (dL) and the top-story vertical displacement (dV). The obtained results reveal that the base overturning moment and the top-story vertical displacement are affected by vertical earthquake motion regardless of the increase in the dimension of beam, slab, and column. However, vertical earthquake motion is not effective on the top-story lateral displacement due to no change between H and H+V load. The dimensional increase in either slab or beam leads to a considerable increase in the base overturning moment and the top-story vertical displacement while causing decrease in the top-story lateral displacement. In addition, the dimensional increase in column has a positive effect on the decrease in the monitoring parameters of the base overturning moment (Mo), the top-story lateral displacement (dL) and the top-story vertical displacement (dV).
