Energy Management System(이하 EMS)는 전기를 경제적으로 생산하여 효율적이고 안정적으로 공급하기 위한 종합전력에너지 관리시스템이다. 실시간으로 전달되는 전력, 설비 등의 각종 값을 이용하여 발전량을 계획하고 전력 계통을 감시하고 제어한다. 이러한 취득데이터는 EMS 데이터베이스에 저장되어 갱신되며 실시간으로 처리되고 있다. EMS 데이터베이스는 방대한 양의 취득 및 처리 데이터가 저장된다. 또한, EMS에서 기동되는 다양한 프로세스들이 접근하며 사용자가 정의한 쿼리문에 맞는 데이터를 전달해야 한다. 기동측면에서는 안정적인 삭제 및 생성이 되어야 하며 데이터베이스의 예기치 못한 문제 발생 시 사용자에게 알리고 효율적으로 대처 할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 EMS 데이터베이스에 대한 주요 특징을 알고 데이터베이스 상태에 대한 효율적인 감시 방안에 대하여 소개한다.

In this paper, an intelligent demand control system was introduced. This system are composed of demand controller, RTU, power line modem and HMI program. The proposed demand controller was capable of synchronizing with watt-hour meter recommended by KEPCO(Korea Electrical Power Corporation). To control remote loads, network function using powerline communication is implemented in RTU with HMI program and novices are able to operate system easily. Additionally using the power line, the cost and time of installation can b saved. The system performance was proved with a several experiments.

In a target tracking problem the radar glint noise has non-Gaussian heavy-tailed distribution and will seriously affect the target tracking performance. In most nonlinear situations an Extended Robust Kalman Filter(ERKF) can yield acceptable performance as long as the noises are white Gaussian. However, an Extended Robust $H_{\infty}$ Filter (ERHF) can yield acceptable performance when the noises are Laplacian. In this paper, we use the Interacting Multiple Model(IMM) estimator for the problem of target tracking with glint noise. In the IMM method, two filters(ERKF and ERHF) are used in parallel to estimate the state. Computer simulations of a real target tracking shows that hybrid filter used the IMM algorithm has superior performance than a single type filter.

The ESS(Energy Saving System) is composed of economic control algorithm for main sea water cooling pump with inverter. The control system of ESS is designed with the Field-Point and LabVIEW. This paper presents the control process and results of control and monitor for ESS.

This study is described the modeling of aspheric lens, manufacturing and inspection. The aspheric lens is different from a convex lens and concave lens in that is useful to aspherical, but modeling mettled of this isn't open to the public. Therefore, This study is designed to the aspheric lens of geometric form, manufactured a sample by CAM which is applied to Euler method. So, we have verified modeling and CAM process for aspheric lens through a experiment.

This paper describes the mechanical and electrical characteristics of insulating paper impregnated with diluted varnish(W-128), according to Korean Standards. The varnish was diluted with a solvent of 6 different wt%. Kraft paper and Nomex paper were impregnated with the diluted varnish in a vacuum condition, and then completely dried. As the mechanical characteristics, the thickness of the completely dried varnish, the drying time and the tensile strength of the specimens were measured, and as the electrical characteristics, the permittivity, the tan $\delta$ and the specific resistance were evaluated as well.

Given a number of training data, a traditional BPN is normally trained by minimizing the absolute difference between target outputs and approximate outputs. When BPN is used as a meta-model for inequality constraint function, approximate optimal solutions are sometimes actually infeasible in a case where they are active at the constraint boundary. The paper describes the development of the efficient BPN based meta-model that enhances the constraint feasibility of approximate optimal solution. The modified BPN based meta-model is obtained by including the decision condition between lower/upper bounds of a constraint and an approximate value. The proposed approach is verified through a simple mathematical function and a ten-bar planar truss problem.
