This study reviewed the research in China on music interventions for adult brain injury patients. Eighty-three studies that met the inclusion criteria were included for analysis. Our review revealed that the number of intervention studies using music with adult brain injury patients has been on the rise since 2012, and random control research design methods have been dominant. Studies focused on the physical domain and emotional domain together were most common. Researchers in fields outside of music therapy conducted 43 of the studies, and music therapists carried out 14 of the studies as intervention providers. Most of the studies carried out by experts in fields other than music therapy used listening activities involving preexisting recorded music. However, most of the studies conducted by music therapists adopted reconstructed music and played it live during their intervention. The specificity of the described content of the interventions and level and relevance of stated rationale to the target goal of the intervention suggests that high quality of intervention was conducted with a therapist/investigator who has completed adequate professional education/training, which would emphasize the importance of music therapy professionalism. This study provides the baseline data for how music intervention research has been implemented in China and presents implications for future clinical practice and research.

Nowadays, the music industry is moving from analog to digital. Most of the big portal sites provide commercial online music streaming services according to the tendency. In this paper, we analyze the security of the Korean commercial online music streaming services which are provide by the Korea's major portal sites(Dosirak, Cyworld, and Naver). Moreover, we show attacks on commercial online music streaming services that lead to an infringement of copyright and propose technical countermeasures for online commercial music streaming services, the contributions of the present work are that the measures protect the copyright of the music.

According to a recent survey, most elementary and secondary school students nationwide are stressed out by their academic records. Furthermore most of high school students in Korea have to study under the great duress. Some of them who can't overcome the academic stress finalize their life by suiciding. A study has found that it is one of the leading causes of stimulating the thought of committing suicide in Korean high school students. So it is necessary to reduce the high school student's suicide rate. Main content of this research is to implement a personalized music recommendation system. Music therapy can help the student deal with the stress, anxiety and depression problems. Proposed system works as a therapist. The music choice and duration of the music is adjusted based on the student's current emotion recognized automatically from EEG. If the happy emotion is not induced by the current music, the system would automatically switch to another one until he or she feel happy. Proposed system is personalized brain music treatment that is making a brain training application running on smart phone or pad. That overcomes the critical problems of time and space constraints of existing brain training program. By using this brain training program, student can manage the stress easily without the help of expert.

Mass multimedia contents are shared through various social media servies including social network service. As social network reveals user's current situation and interest, highly satisfactory personalized recommendation can be made when such features are applied to the recommendation system. In addition, classifying the music by emotion and using analyzed information about user's recent emotion or current situation by analyzing user's social network, it will be useful upon recommending music to the user. In this paper, we propose a music recommendation method that makes an emotion model to classify the music, classifies the music according to the emotion model, and extracts user's current emotional state represented on the social network to recommend music, and evaluates the validity of our method through experiments.

In this study, the investigator distributed total 100 questionnaires by childcare center teachers in final analysis. The purposes of the study were to examine teachers' perceptions of early childhood music education provided by childcare centers or kindergartens and also the difficulties they experienced with the instruction of early childhood music education and thus provide basic data to develop an educational program for early childhood teachers and search for a direction in early childhood music education in the field of education. The findings were summarized as follows: Both kindergarten and childcare center teachers showed a high perception level of need for and importance of early childhood music education. The teachers thought that early childhood music education facilitated the development of young children across all areas and promoted their pleasure and expressive abilities. Providing music education, the teachers faced difficulties due to the lack of musical knowledge, basic musical skills, and experiences with and confidence in musical activities. They also felt a need for teacher education.

The current settlement and distribution used in theme, background and signal music market other than conventional music is being carried out with either the comprehensive settlement method or the measured meter-rate settlement method in the payment process of collected user fees and compensation depending on the use-permission types. In this settlement and distribution process, however, the reliability issues are often being raised because of the difficulty of tracking rights due to changes in music source rights management information, etc, and the opaque settlement and distribution method itself. This paper proposes a new settlement and distribution platform using a blockchain for the reliable collection and distribution of copyright fees among music user group, monitoring organization group, trust organization group and copyright holders, based on the monitoring information of the theme, background and signal music usage. This platform also provides the transparency in settlement and distribution process among stakeholders through smart contract system.

Composing music is an inspired yet challenging task, in that the process involves many considerations such as assigning pitches, determining rhythm, and arranging accompaniment. Algorithmic composition aims to develop algorithms for music composition. Recently, algorithmic composition using artificial intelligence technologies received considerable attention. In particular, computational intelligence is widely used and achieves promising results in the creation of music. This paper attempts to provide a survey on the music generation based on the Monte Carlo (MC) algorithm. First, transform the MIDI music format files to digital data. Among these data, use the logistic fitting method to fit the time series, obtain the time distribution regular pattern. Except for time series, the converted data also includes duration, pitch, and velocity. Second, using MC simulation to deal with them summed up their distribution law respectively. The two main control parameters are the value of discrete sampling and standard deviation. Processing the above parameters and converting the data to MIDI file, then compared with the output generated by LSTM neural network, evaluate the music comprehensively.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to compare the effects of the Rhy-Kwon exercise with motion beat music program to the Rhy-Kwon with ordinary beat music program on physical fitness and mood in employed women. Method: Total of 29 women who did not have any particular disease were randomly assigned either to a Rhy-Kwon with motion beat music group or to a Rhy-Kwon with ordinary beat music group. Nine subjects in each group completed posttest measures (physical fitness and mood) in 8 weeks. Results: After the 8 weeks of the study period, there were significant improvement in sargent jump and mood especially for the subscale of vigor in the Rhy-Kwon with motion beat music group compared to their counterparts. But no significant differences were found between the groups in other physical fitness measures. Conclusion: The results showed that Rhy-Kwon with motion beat music program would partially improve physical fitness and mood (vigor). Further studies are needed to confirm the effects of Rhy-Kwon with motion beat music program with various populations.

Uigue(儀軌) is the report of court events, and its contents are very detailed and crucial as it is even called as the flower of written culture. Thus, many research theses about Uigue have been accumulated in academic circles so far, and easy books about Uigue targeting ordinary people have also been published. However, Uigue has not been used actively in educational circles yet. From now on, we should develop and induce ways to use Uigue actively in educational spots in order to let students who will lead our future have pride in our culture and know about the superiority of our court music culture. Especially when court music culture is taught in the sector of Korean traditional music education, it is beneficial to use Uigue. Since most of the court music repertory is slow and magnificent, if court music itself is exposed beforehand, it might give them an impression that it is "unexciting and boring". Therefore, this study gropes for teaching methods to 'show' court music culture first through various visual aids contained in Uigue. In other words, it examines how the instrument images, band images, dance images, or concert stages contained in Uigue can be used as teaching materials. Except for the materials selected in this article, there are plenty of teaching materials for court music culture in Uigue. Furthermore, it would be even better if not just Uigue but Oryeseo (五禮書), Akseo(樂書), Dobyeong(圖屛), and Gwanchan Akbo(樂譜) can be added to widen its range for more multilateral court music culture education. And if at the educational spots, showing classic court music culture is accompanied with listening to court music through various materials of court music and dance, we can expect even better educational effects from it.
