임상실습교육의 만족도와 관련요인 분석 - 한방재활의학을 중심으로 - (The Analysis of Satisfaction with Clinical Training and the Related Factors - Especially in Oriental Rehabilitation Medicine -)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study is to analyze satisfaction with clinical training in the department of oriental rehabilitation medicine and the related factors. Methods : All the students in the graduating class of school of Korean Medicine, Pusan National University must be trained for 2 weeks in the department of oriental rehabilitation medicine according to clinical training guideline including Objective Structured Clinical Examination(OSCE) and Clinical Performance Examination (CPX). After completing clinical training, we distributed questionaries to them about a reflex of the object of study, usefulness, difficulty, satisfaction and preference. And then, we analyzed the related factors including descriptive statistics, frequency analysis and correlation analysis by SPSS 18.0. Results : In general, a reflex of the aim of study($7.88{\pm}1.31$), satisfaction with contents($8.17{\pm}1.20$) and difficulty($5.53{\pm}0.99$) were evaluated respectively. The better a reflex of the aim of study is, the higher satisfaction with contents is(P<0.01, r=0.836). Chuna was highly estimated, whereas pharmacopuncture was not. In OSCE, a reflex of the aim of study($8.07{\pm}1.07$) and usefulness($8.13{\pm}1.16$) were highly evaluated. The preference for physical examination of the lumbar spine was highly estimated, whereas applying splint was not. Facilities and equipment($7.88{\pm}1.11$), contents of clinical training($7.25{\pm}1.79$), the handout($7.00{\pm}1.59$) and time scheduling($5.48{\pm}1.71$) were evaluated respectively in general composition of clinical training. There is no difference related to specialty, sex and age among students. Conclusions : Clinical training program in the department of oriental rehabilitation medicine can be highly estimated from the viewpoint of difficulty and satisfaction.

  • 목 적 : 현재 사용하고 있는 마우스 뇌조직 유래 Nakayama주 사백신 접종 방법의 의학적 타당성을 알아보고자 접종 실태와 부작용 발생 양상과 빈도를 조사하고 추가 접종 방법의 타당성을 확인하기 위하여 중화항체 지속률을 조사하였다. 방 법 : 15,487명의 접종아를 대상으로 이상반응 발생 여부를 조사하였고 초등학교 학생 2,277명을 대상으로 건강기록부와 설문지조사를 통하여 접종실태와 이상반응 발생 빈도를 확인하였으며 접종기록이 일치하는 311명의 학생을 대상으로 중화항체 검사를 시행하였다. 검사는 United States Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Science/Department of Virology, Bangkok(USAMC-AFRIMS)에서 시행되었고 50% 플라크 감소를 기준으로 1 : 10 이상을 양성으로 하였다. 결 과 : 건강기록부에 의한 초등학생 2,277명의 접종률은 47.5%였으나 설문지 조사에서는 접종률이 93.5%로 큰 차이가 있었다. 건강기록부에 나타난 취학 전 접종률은 남자 48.5%, 여자 46.4%로 차이가 없었다. 연령이 증가함에 따라 일본뇌염의 접종 횟수도 증가하는 양상을 보였다. 예방접종 여부가 건강기록부와 설문지 조사 결과가 일치하는 경우는 95년과 96년에 모두 접종 받았다고 응답한 경우만 75.6%로 높았고 그 외에는 일치도가 낮았다. 일본뇌염 예방접종 장소는 학교가 60.1%로 가장 많았고 그 외 보건소가 25.1%, 병 의원 14.1% 순이었다. 1995년 5~6월 사이 서울 소재 보건소에서 15,487명을 대상으로 일본뇌염 사백신을 접종한 후 0.13%에서 이상반응이 발생하여 의료 기관을 방문하였으며 이 중 57%는 고열 때문이었고 1례에서 접종 후 3분만에 실신 발작이 있었다. 전체 접종자의 0.02%에서 심한 두드러기 반응으로 의료기관을 방문하였으며 0.03%에서 두통 및 구토 등으로 의료 기관을 다시 찾았다. 1996년 봄에 초등학생을 대상으로 시행한 이상반응 설문지 조사에 의하면 주사 부위 발적이 17.4%, 주사 부위 동통이 14.8%, 발열 4.3%였고 그 외에 두통, 구토, 반점 등이 관찰되었다. 초등학생 311명 중 일본뇌염 접종력 조사에서 마지막 접종 후 6개월이 경과한 경우(1군)가 155명, 접종 후 18개월이 경과한 경우(2군) 104명, 30개월이 경과한 경우(3군)이 45명, 42개월이 경과한 경우(4군)가 7명이었다. 이들의 항체 양성률은 1군이 98.1%(152/155), 2군이 99.0%(103/104), 3군이 95.6%(43/45), 4군이 71.4%(5/7)로 양성률에 있어서 각 군간의 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결 론 : 현재 격년으로 시행하고있는 일본뇌염 사백신 추가 접종은 시기를 늘려 시행하여도 항체 지속률을 유지할 수 있을 것으로 추정된다.

광주지역 남자 중.고등학생의 흡연실태와 흡연관련 요인 (Smoking Status and its Related Factors in Male Students of Middle and High Schools in Kwangju)

  • 광주지역 남자 중 고등학생들의 흡연실태와 흡연에 영향을 미칠 것으로 생각되는 사회환경적 요인, 지식 및 태도를 파악하고자 1992년 6월 15일부터 6월 30일까지 본 조사를 실시하였다. 조사대상은 광주지역 남자 중학생은 남녀공학유무, 고등학생은 남녀공학유무 및 인문계와 실업계 계열별로 이단계 층화확률표본추출하였으며 흡연실태에 대한 조사는 구조화된 설문지를 배포하여 자기기입식 방법으로 작성하였다. 응답자는 중학생 1,574명, 인문계 고등학생 1,664명, 실업계 고등학생 721명으로 총 3,959명이며 자료분석결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 현재 흡연자는 중학생은 1.5%, 인문계 고등학생 14.8%, 실업계 고등학생 35.1%로 전체 고등학생의 흡연율은 20.1%를 나타냈으며 중 고등학생 모두 학년이 올라갈수록 흡연자의 비율은 증가하였다(p< 0.01). 2. 과거 및 현재 흡연자의 흡연시작 상황을 보면 중 고등학생 모두 호기심으로부터, 그 다음은 다른 사람이 권했기 때문이라고 응답하였으며 처음 권유한 사람은 대부분이 친구로서 친구가 흡연동기의 많은 영향을 끼치는 것으로 보인다. 3. 현재 흡연자중 매일 규칙적으로 흡연하는 학생은 중학생의 경우 34.8% 였고, 고등학생은 70.2%였다. 흡연 기간은 중학생은 1개월 미만이 29.2%로 가장 많았으며 고등학생은 2년이상의 장기 흡연군이 가장 많았다. 흡연시작시기는 중학생은 국민학교때, 고등학생은 중학교 3학년때 시작하는 경우가 가장 많았고, 금연을 시도했다가 실패한 학생을 합하면 76.8%가 금연의사를 보인 것으로 나타났다. 4. 친한 친구의 흡연, 가족중 어머니와 남자형제의 흡연, 원만하지 못한 친구관계, 가정 학교생활의 불만족, 하위에 속하는 학교성적, 타인의 흡연에 대해 보다 너그러운 태도, 간접흡연에 대한 지식이 없고 TV를 통해 흡연의 유해성을 듣지 못한 경우에 있어서 흡연자가 유의하게 많았다(p<0.01).

모유수유에 대한 여대생의 지식 및 태도 (The Knowledge and Attitude on Breast Feeding of Female University Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data in order to develop of some educational programs for increasing breast feeding by studying the female university student's knowledge and attitude on breast feeding, who will become a mother in future. The respondents of this research were selected at random for 462 female students at the university in Seoul and Kyongki area, and it was the period collected the data from Oct 28, 2000 to Nov 8, 2000. The method of study distributed the measuring tools of knowledge with 33 items and the tools of measurement with 20 items on the attitude of breast feeding to the respondents directly, and collected them. The data were analyzed to use SPSS program. Unpaired t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and Multiple regression analysis were used for the calculation of difference between groups and the results were as follows ; 1. The breast feeding was 50.6% in the period of lactation for the respondents and the nuclear families were 81.7% in family constituent unit. In the future the wisher of breast feeding was 91.5%, the medical personnel was a major informer who enjoyed their best confidence, Besides the respond-ents responded that the proper period for education of the breast feeding was in a high school. 2. The level of Knowledge on breast feeding. The respondents's knowledge on breast feeding was average $16.40{\pm}4.59$ points on the basis of 33 points and On the merits and demerits ratio of breast feeding has shown highest but there was low in the field of such a concrete and practical plan as the estimate of breast feeding and the method and mindfulness for breast feeding. The higher grader, the college of the natural science showed significantly the higher points in the knowledge degree by respondents's characters and in such cases the persons of breast feeding or the informed of breast feeding by a medical personnel or the women of strong will for breast feeding action in the future. 3. The Attitude on breast feeding. There was relatively shown a positive attitude of the total average $60.50{\pm}7.59$ points and the average evaluation $3.04{\pm}.36$ points in the attitude on breast feeding. The attitude by each factors has the highest points in the practical action aspect but the lowest in the emotional aspect. The attitude on breast feeding by respondents's characters significantly showed a positive attitude in such cases the persons of breast feeding or the informed of breast feeding or the women of strong will for breast feeding action in the future. 4. Relation to knowledge and attitude on breast feeding. There was shown a correlation of definition in the relation to knowledge and attitude on breast feeding, 5.Factors which have an effect on knowledge and attitude on breast feeding. The factors which have an effect on knowledge of breast feeding were attitudes on breast feeding, graders, the college of natural science and the informed of breast feeding. Also the factors which have an effect on attitude on breast feeding were on will and knowledge on breast feeding, a large family, the informed of breast feeding. In conclusion, it will have to enforce a systematic education on the method of a practical breast feeding enlarged by a medical personnel and professional early enough as the information provision on breast feeding enables one to increase knowledge and attitude on it, besides it has relations with their practical will.

간호학 교과과정 개선을 위한 조사 연구 (A Study on improvement of curriculum in Nursing)

  • This Study involved the development of a survey form and the collection of data in an effort-to provide information which can be used in the improvement of nursing curricula. The data examined were the kinds courses currently being taught in the curricula of nursing education institutions throughout Korea, credits required for course completion, and year in-which courses are taken. For the purposes of this study, curricula were classified into college, nursing school and vocational school categories. Courses were directed into the 3 major categories of general education courses, supporting science courses and professional education course, and further subdirector as. follows: 1) General education (following the classification of Philip H. phoenix): a) Symbolics, b) Empirics, c) Aesthetics. 4) Synthetics, e) Ethics, f) Synoptic. 2) Supporting science: a) physical science, b) biological science, c) social science, d) behavioral science, e) Health science, f) Educations 3) Professional Education; a) basic courses, b) courses in each of the respective fields of nursing. Ⅰ. General Education aimed at developing the individual as a person and as a member of society is relatively strong in college curricula compared with the other two. a) Courses included in the category of symbolics included Korean language, English, German. Chines. Mathematics. Statics: Economics and Computer most college curricula included 20 credits. of courses in this sub-category, while nursing schools required 12 credits and vocational school 10 units. English ordinarily receives particularly heavy emphasis. b) Research methodology, Domestic affair and women & courtney was included under the category of empirics in the college curricula, nursing and vocational school do not offer this at all. c) Courses classified under aesthetics were physical education, drill, music, recreation and fine arts. Most college curricula had 4 credits in these areas, nursing school provided for 2 credits, and most vocational schools offered 10 units. d) Synoptic included leadership, interpersonal relationship, and communications, Most schools did not offer courses of this nature. e) The category of ethics included citizenship. 2 credits are provided in college curricula, while vocational schools require 4 units. Nursing schools do not offer these courses. f) Courses included under synoptic were Korean history, cultural history, philosophy, Logics, and religion. Most college curricular 5 credits in these areas, nursing schools 4 credits. and vocational schools 2 units. g) Only physical education was given every Year in college curricula and only English was given in nursing schools and vocational schools in every of the curriculum. Most of the other courses were given during the first year of the curriculum. Ⅱ. Supporting science courses are fundamental to the practice and application of nursing theory. a) Physical science course include physics, chemistry and natural science. most colleges and nursing schools provided for 2 credits of physical science courses in their curricula, while most vocational schools did not offer t me. b) Courses included under biological science were anatomy, physiologic, biology and biochemistry. Most college curricula provided for 15 credits of biological science, nursing schools for the most part provided for 11 credits, and most vocational schools provided for 8 units. c) Courses included under social science were sociology and anthropology. Most colleges provided for 1 credit in courses of this category, which most nursing schools provided for 2 creates Most vocational school did not provide courses of this type. d) Courses included under behavioral science were general and clinical psychology, developmental psychology. mental hygiene and guidance. Most schools did not provide for these courses. e) Courses included under health science included pharmacy and pharmacology, microbiology, pathology, nutrition and dietetics, parasitology, and Chinese medicine. Most college curricula provided for 11 credits, while most nursing schools provide for 12 credits, most part provided 20 units of medical courses. f) Courses included under education included educational psychology, principles of education, philosophy of education, history of education, social education, educational evaluation, educational curricula, class management, guidance techniques and school & community. Host college softer 3 credits in courses in this category, while nursing schools provide 8 credits and vocational schools provide for 6 units, 50% of the colleges prepare these students to qualify as regular teachers of the second level, while 91% of the nursing schools and 60% of the vocational schools prepare their of the vocational schools prepare their students to qualify as school nurse. g) The majority of colleges start supporting science courses in the first year and complete them by the second year. Nursing schools and vocational schools usually complete them in the first year. Ⅲ. Professional Education courses are designed to develop professional nursing knowledge, attitudes and skills in the students. a) Basic courses include social nursing, nursing ethics, history of nursing professional control, nursing administration, social medicine, social welfare, introductory nursing, advanced nursing, medical regulations, efficient nursing, nursing english and basic nursing, College curricula devoted 13 credits to these subjects, nursing schools 14 credits, and vocational schools 26 units indicating a severe difference in the scope of education provided. b) There was noticeable tendency for the colleges to take a unified approach to the branches of nursing. 60% of the schools had courses in public health nursing, 80% in pediatric nursing, 60% in obstetric nursing, 90% in psychiatric nursing and 80% in medical-surgical nursing. The greatest number of schools provided 48 crudites in all of these fields combined. in most of the nursing schools, 52 credits were provided for courses divided according to disease. in the vocational schools, unified courses are provided in public health nursing, child nursing, maternal nursing, psychiatric nursing and adult nursing. In addition, one unit is provided for one hour a week of practice. The total number of units provided in the greatest number of vocational schools is thus Ⅲ units double the number provided in nursing schools and colleges. c) In th leges, the second year is devoted mainly to basic nursing courses, while the third and fourth years are used for advanced nursing courses. In nursing schools and vocational schools, the first year deals primarily with basic nursing and the second and third years are used to cover advanced nursing courses. The study yielded the following conclusions. 1. Instructional goals should be established for each courses in line with the idea of nursing, and curriculum improvements should be made accordingly. 2. Course that fall under the synthetics category should be strengthened and ways should be sought to develop the ability to cooperate with those who work for human welfare and health. 3. The ability to solve problems on the basis of scientific principles and knowledge and understanding of man society should be fostered through a strengthening of courses dealing with physical sciences, social sciences and behavioral sciences and redistribution of courses emphasizing biological and health sciences. 4. There should be more balanced curricula with less emphasis on courses in the major There is a need to establish courses necessary for the individual nurse by doing away with courses centered around specific diseases and combining them in unified courses. In addition it is possible to develop skill in dealing with people by using the social setting in comprehensive training. The most efficient ratio of the study experience should be studied to provide more effective, interesting education Elective course should be initiated to insure a man flexible, responsive educational program. 5. The curriculum stipulated in the education law should be examined.

북 텍사스 한인간호사회 형성과 미주 한인사회에 대한 공헌 (The Emergence of the North Texas Korean American Nurses Society and its Contributions to Korean Immigrant Societies in the U.S.)

  • Purpose: To describe the emergence of the North Texas Korean American Nurses Society (NTKANS) and to examine its sociocultural contributions to Korean immigrant societies in the U.S. for the last half century. Methods: The study used retrospective historical analysis to explore the first North Texas Korean immigrant nurses' footsteps. Using Christy's historical research methodology, this study explored themes found in the NTKANS Minutes, the directories, and newspapers, and compared them with historical nursing contexts found in documents, immigrant nurse's pictures, and letters. Interviews with twenty first immigrant Korean nurses, the members, were also use d as main data. Results: Since its emergence in 1969, the NTKANS have contributed to local Korean societies through community medical services, financial supports to local Korean associations, local publications, and opening Korean school. In addition, the society has contributed to the other Korean immigrant nursing societies in the U.S. Conclusion: The sociocultural contributions NTKANS had made to Korean immigrant societies were not possible without its members' enormous efforts, personal struggles, and altruistic dedications. The trials and tribulations these immigrant nurses have overcome and the achievements they made for last half century would greatly inspire students and nurses in Korea who may seek international leadership and scholarship.

한의학 분야 연구윤리 교육에 대한 전국 한의과대학 및 한의학전문대학원 교수들의 인식 (Awareness and attitudes of professors regarding research ethics education in the colleges and the school of Korean Medicine)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the experiences and awareness of Korean Medicine professors towards research ethics issues and curriculum development. Methods: Electronic mails for requesting the survey participation were sent to 531 professors who were listed in the DB of Association of Korean Medicine. Professors who agreed to participate in the survey were connected to the self-administered questionnaire site, and the responses were stored in real time. Professors were asked the experience of research misconduct cases, the necessity, contents and evaluation method of research ethics education, etc. ANOVA was performed to test the differences of ethics education effects among sub-groups of respondents. Results: Of 137 professors who opened the e-mail, 127 completed the questionnaire. Most professors (87.4%) reported to witness the research misconduct cases, and felt the necessity of research ethics education for professors as well as students. 31.4% of respondents preferred the practice-focused course, and 43.3% preferred the PASS/FAIL basis evaluation system. Professors with shorter education career and professors majoring basic Korean Medicine expected higher effect of ethics education than others. For detailed items of research ethics education, 'ethical writing' and 'ensuring research integrity' were prioritized in the aspects of both personal ethics and social demand. Conclusions: In this study, detailed matters of research ethics education in Korean Medicine area were drawn. Further study and policy development are needed to facilitate the introduction of formal education of research ethics.

근골격계 질환에 대한 경근무늬측정검사(모아레)의 한의약적 임상응용 고찰 (A Study on the Korean medicine Clinical Use of Moire topography in musculoskeletal diseases)

  • Objectives : This study aims to classify and analyze literature related to moire topography, as a diagnostic device of Korean medicine, discuss research trends and major results, and demonstrate the value of moire topography. Methods : To investigate moire topography research trends, Korean keywords that signify 'moire' were searched in a Korean journal search engine. Initially, 2,988 papers were found in the research, and, after classifying them and removing those that are duplicate in other databases, only 37 papers were applicable for the literature review in this study. To analyze research trends, the 37 papers were analyzed based on the publication year, research field, journal, and research type, and, clinical articles were classified based on the diagnosis purpose, subject characteristics, diagnosis method, test method, and test result, for analysis. Results : Moire topography research in South Korea was first conducted in 1995 and most active in 2003, mostly in the field of Korean medicine. In the journal analysis, The Journal of Korea CHUNA Manual Medicine for Spine & Nerves published the highest number of papers, most of which were clinical articles and the rest were literature review. And, in the analysis of clinical papers, based on the diagnosis purpose, muscle somatotype measurement was most common, followed by diagnosis of scoliosis. In terms of subjects, most studies focused on elementary, middle, and high school students, and, in terms of the diagnosis method, other tests were used in most studies. The analysis of moire topography methods showed that most studies measured the shoulder, back, and hip, and the most common measurement method in the studies measured the difference in contour lines on the left and right by designating a central line of the body. In terms of the result, most moire topography brought about significant diagnosis results, and many studies demonstrated its use for musculoskeletal diseases in particular. Conclusions : Moire topography is believed to be highly significant for diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and further research will be needed to support it.

서울지역 국민학교(國民學校) 양호교사의 학교간호업무(學校看護業務) 수행정도(遂行程度)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on status of school health and analysis of factors affecting school nursing activities in the secondary school in Seoul)

  • This study was conducted in order to grasp the condition of about the school nurse's service and to offer the basic materials of improving the school health service. The objects were comprised of 98 volunteered school nurses who take service in the elementary school. The material of this study was the questionaire suited to the purpose of this research which has been made through studying references and this questionaire has been corrected and revised three times. All the questionaire written by school-nurses. The results are as follows; 1. General features of the objects of study Average age was 35.9 and average career was 9.2 years. Except working as school-nurse, the past career was that average clinical-field was 3.4 years and health service was 4 months. Their educational level was as high as 72.4% of the objects were graduated from above 3 years college and 89.8% were married. 76.5% have religions and 94.8% were working at with national and public schools. 99.0% were doing only nursing service. 2. The conditions of the school health resources. The ratio of school-nurse to students was one to 2630. School-nurse to classes, one to 49.3, and school-nurse to teachers, one to 54. For total amount of a year budget of school health, from three hundred thousands to fifty nine hundred thousands won was most common. Expenses for purchasing medicine were used most. 58.2% of school-nurses hasn't known a year budget. There was an organization for school health in 74.2% of schools. 42.9% of nursing rooms were in the center of school and 88.8% were on first floor. Nursing room were used alone without being used by another purpose and the room size of 71.6% was below 10 pyong. 3. The conditions of school health service Average users of nursing room were 413 a month. The most of them had digestive trouble. Sending letters to home was 15.9 times a year. The most contents of letters was about health education. Object spent much time managing nursing room. 4. The degree of school health service When 2 points was given to "perform" and 1 point was to "not perform" the total average was 1.75, health education 1.89, environmental management 1.86, plan of project and evaluation 1.83, management of nursing room 1.82, health management 1.78, run of school health organization 1.32. 5. Correlation between the school health services and variables (1) The part of project plan and evaluation of school health service has relationship to existence or none-existence of school health organization (P<0.01), past health service career (P<0.05), number of classes (P<0.01), number of students (P<0.01), sending letters to home about health education (P<0.01) and number of users (P<0.05). (2) The part of nursing room management has relationship to ages (P<0.05) past clinical career (P<0.05), number of classes (P<0.05), number of students (P<0.05) and sending letters to home about health education (P<0.01). School-nurse should exert herself to advance a quality to take care of school population's health. 2. It is necessary that systematic support required to keep school population's health. 3. Home, school and community should make efforts cooperatively and the proper roles of students, teachers, health team members and parents must be achieved.

4차 산업혁명시대 최신 기술에 대한 방사선과 대학생의 인식도 (Analysis of the Perception of Radiological Technology University Students about the Latest Technology in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution)

  • 4차 산업혁명시대 최신 기술을 통해 공간 및 시간의 초월, 가상현실, 증강 현실 등이 구현되고 있다. 현재 인공지능, 증강현실, 빅데이터 등을 경험하고 있는 상황에서 방사선과 재학생들을 대상으로 4차 산업혁명 최신 기술에 대한 관심도와 4차 산업혁명시대 필요한 역량, 4차 산업혁명시대 방사선분야 채용 환경의 전망에 대한 인식도를 알아보고자 하였다. 2022년 2월 7일부터 2월 18일까지 대구시 소재 S대학교 방사선과 재학생 2, 3학년을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 인식도 조사를 분석하였다. 연구결과 3D 모델링 관심도가 평균 3.34 ± 1.09점으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 빅데이터와 인공지능에 대해서도 보통 이상 3.27 ± 1.17, 3.33 ± 1.07점으로 관심을 보이고 있었다. 또한, 4차 산업혁명시대 필요한 역량 인식도와 4차 산업혁명시대 방사선분야 채용 환경 전망 인식도 간 상관성이 가장 높았으며(r=0.778, p<0.01), 4차 산업혁명 최신 기술 관심도와 4차 산업혁명시대 필요한 역량 인식도 간에도 상관성이 있음을 알 수 있었다(r=0.694, p<0.01). 4차 산업 혁명시대 3D프린팅, 인공지능, 빅데이터 등의 최신 기술을 다룰 수 있는 전문 교육 강화, 방사선 의료기술분야에서의 최신 기술과 관련된 취업역량 강화를 위한 교육이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
