火焰傳播速度測定에 關한 硏究 -層流火焰에 關하여- (A Study on the Flame Propagating Speed Measurement-For the Laminar Flame-)

  • Propane-Air premixed combustible gas was ignited by the conventional current break system inside the open combustion chamber under the atmospheric pressure and the room temperature to measure the flame propagating speed and the burning speed, also to elucidate the history of the propagating flame behavior and wall effects to flame shape by using Ion Gap Method and High Speed Schlieren Photography. The results obtained show that the maximum flame propagating speed and maximum burning speed are approximately 292 cm/sec and 36 cm/sec at the mixture ratio 4.6%, respectively. The cellular flame structures can be observable in the rich mixture region, moreover, the cellular structures become finer, with increasing the mixture strength.

  • 최근 국내에는 다차원 공간정보 구축을 위하여 디지털 항공사진 및 항공라이다 장비를 이용하고 있으나, 위 데이터만을 이용하여 세밀하고 사실감 있는 3차원 공간데이터를 구축하는데 제한적이며, 고품질의 Texture Mapping을 위해 지상사진을 이용하지만 인력 및 작업 시간이 많이 소요된다. 이에 해외에서는 사실감 있는 3차원 공간정보 구축을 위하여 연직과 경사사진을 동시에 촬영하는 다각사진촬영시스템을 이용하고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 다각사진촬영시스템 개발시 고려해야할 경사사진 촬영 설계요소에 대하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 촬영고도, 카메라각도에 의하여 경사사진 주점의 거리, 지상해상도, 카메라 화각(FOV), 촬영영역에 대하여 분석할 수 있었다.

Corrosion protection behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloy with cathodic electrophoretic coating pretreated by cerium based conversion coatings at various pH

  • The corrosion protection behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloy (Mg alloy) with cathodic electrophoretic coating (E-coating) pretreated by cerium-based conversion coatings at various pH was investigated in this study. Cerium-based conversion coatings (CeCCs) were deposited on AZ31 Mg alloy by immersion treatment in the nitrate-based cerium salt solution. The morphology and composition of the CeCCs were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The corrosion properties of the AZ31 Mg alloy pretreated with cerium coating and subsequently E-coated were studied during salt-spray testing. The surface morphologies of the E-coated Mg alloy were examined in detail after different testing times using digital photography. It was found that the protective properties of the E-coating on AZ31 Mg alloy generated are heavily dependent upon the CeCC factors such as treatment time, coating thickness and pH of the solution.

임산부용 브래지어 설계를 위한 유방부 변화에 대하여 (A Study on Transformation of The Breast Size, Shape and Volume Properties for Design of Maternity Brassiere)

  • This study was performed to provide basic data for design of maternity brassiere. In order to find out transformation of breast size, shape and volume properties during the period of pregnancy, direct measurements of 306 subjects using Martin's anthropometer and indirect measurements using photography were conducted. And also breast surface area, volume and assumed weight using the molding of adhisive sheet are calculated. The results are as follows; 1) Size (breast widths, depths, girths and lengths) of the breast of pregnant woman are gradually increased during pregnancy. But underbust girth is decreased after delivery. 2) Front view of the breast is gradully dropped and widened. 3) Surface area, volume were measured for each stage of pregnancy, and weights of breasts were estimated. The surface area of breast of latter stage of prgnancy was increased 1.7 times comparing with the early stage. 4) Changes of bust girth, breast depth, underbust girth, volume and estimated breast weight during pregnancy should be considered for cup size, cup shape, width and strain of strap, and width of the wings.

분할연소실내의 대향분출화염의 연소특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Combustion Characteristics of Opposed-jet-Flames in a Divided Combustion Chamber)

  • Combustion characteristics of opposed-jet-flames spouting out from dual prechambers of a divided combustion chamber were investigated by using high speed schilieren photography and chamber pressure measurement. Result shows that opposed-jet-flames are characterized by the parameter ( $A_{ori}$/ $V_{p}$) and there exists a certain critical value of ( $A_{ori}$/ $V_{p}$)c which distinguishes flame propagation patterns in the main chamber. Also higher chamber pressure and shorter total burning time can be derived by adopting this dual prechamber divided combustion chamber, which would lead a possibility of an appropriate combustion method of high load and low emissions.ons.ons.

선회류가 있는 연소실의 연소에 미치는 점화위치의 영향 (The effect of ignition position on combustion in the chamber with swirl flow)

  • The effects of ignition position on combustion in a chamber with swirl flow were investigated by use of hot wire anemometer, high speed schlieren photography, and chamber pressure measurement. In experiments, the closed-constant volume combustion chamber was used, and the swirl was formed unsteadily by suction of external fluid after reducing pressure in the chamber. Results show that the effect of ignition position on combustion depends on the flow state and the flame propagation distance corresponding to each ignition position. Also, the effect of combustion promoting increases as an ignition position moves from the center of chamber to the outside, but maximum burning pressure was obtained at the position that is the shortest flame propagation distance.

정적 용기내의 직접분사식 스파크 점화 성층 연소에 관한 연구 (A Study on Direct Injection Stratified Charge Combustion with Spark Ignition in Constant Volume Bomb)

  • The direct-injection stratified-charge engine has the advantages of higher thermal efficiency and less CO and $NO_x$ emission levels than conventional spark ignition engines. However, its actual utilization is prevented by high unburned hydrocarbon emission levels during light-load operations. In this paper, fundamental studies were carried out using a pancake type constant volume bomb. The effects of intensification of local premixing by tangential and radial fuel injection were examined experimentally. Unburned hydrocarbon emission levels with radial fuel injection were shown to be lower than those of tangential fuel injection cases. The stratification and mixing process of fuel jet and combustion process were observed by schlieren photography.

  • Cavitation erosion-corrosion implies damage to materials due to the shock pressure or shock wave that results when bubbles form and collapse at a metal surface within a liquid. If the liquids corrosive to the material, a condition typically encountered in industry, the component materials may suffer serious damage by a combination of mechanical and electrochemical attack. To suppress cavitation erosion as well as cavitation erosion-corrosion to hydraulic equipments, innovations such as the improvement in the geometric design of the equipment or the selection of suitably resistant construction materials are necessary. This study was tested by using the piezoelectric vibrator with 20kHz, 24${\mu}$m for cavitation generation. And also, the vibratory cavitation erosion-corrosion tests on commercial mild steel SS41were carried out. We carefully observed the erosion pattern and surface photography. The geometrical mechanism of pit growth, which is to be likely these processing; shallow typelongrightarrowundercut typelongrightarrowwide shallow type.

  • Nowadays many peoples are using helicopter in various fields, not only military use but also common people applications such as air-measurement, photography, transportation of goods and persons, saving life and fire fighting etc. And it will be expected more popular than now. Most important part of helicopter to increasing performance and to reducing noise is rotor hub-system. Hub system consists of rotor-blade and rotor-hub. We participate to develop next-generation rotor hub system with elastomeric bearing, part of rotor hub. In this paper we introduce about the role and shape of elastomeric bearing in next-generation helicopter hub system. Then we study about bearing-material requirements and measuring methods. Finally we represent some experimental results.

  • A vector-photo is a photography which contain image and 5W1H information. Objects pictured and an image in a vector-photo can be linked by 5W1H information in the vector-photo. This study discuss a positioning module to link between vector-photos and 3D BIM model. The module developed in this study can be utilized in a system that can link the vector-photos with objects in BIM model.
